I needed oil change I check in 3 Am they said we will call you around 9 am the didn’t call me I go to office they said you didn’t answer the phone they lie to me and then I talk to pos the give me pay 2 to wait next truck and now is 5:30 pm this is the worst TA shop I ever seen now I’m leaving with out service
Plenty of space to stay overnight. With different options to fill your belly. Has a scale also. Only issue seems to be if you get here after 6pm you may have a hard time parking
Do not recommend any mechanical services at this location. These people are only good for oil changes and tires. And that's it!! Brought truck in for replacement of belt tensioner and new belt had me for 6hours, told me it would take an hour after parts arrived, they quoted me $950 and charged me over $1300 😑 after the job was completed. 5.5 hours on labor 🙃 on a maybe 2.5 hour job.
Needed service done on my trailer...I was actually told that 2nd shift was on their way in and weren't at all gung-ho about working on vehicles and that I shud find someone else to help me! what's the point of having a truck shop if your workers don't want to help keep truckers on the road? I'll skip this place even if I run outta gas...just absolutely disgraceful...and the waiting area and bathrooms were disgusting.
Ha The location features a variety of items available for purchase, complemented by an attached Burger King. However, the experience at Burger King was less than satisfactory due to the cashier's impolite demeanor.

My OnRoad Called at 7:00 AM and told them I had a 2‑hour drive to get there. Arrived at 10:00 AM to no signage, no clear traffic flow, and no posted check‑in procedure. When I asked a tech in a bay how to check in, he snapped that he was working — rude and unnecessary. After I finally figured it out, I was put in Bay 4. I then watched one of the two techs wander around looking confused, pick something up, put it down, and pull out a vape multiple times. I was finally pulled in at 10:45 AM. It’s now 2:45 PM and I’m still waiting— for a single battery replacement. No one mentioned they’d be down to one tech after noon, which is wildly unprofessional. The office clerk’s nonchalant attitude made it clear customer time isn’t respected. I still have a 7-hour drive ahead of me, and this shop wasted my day. Poor communication, poor professionalism, and zero urgency. I won’t be back. Management needs to fix signage, staffing, and customer service—fast, it’s disgusting!

It's like they never heard of a torque wrench, oil, or common sense.
I pulled in for a wheel seal, s cam bushings, and to get shoes replaced all the way around. Which turned into three drums and another wheel seal, which then also turned into a spindle.
Now... here is where it gets fun....
I pulled up to the TA Service in Gaston to get all the wheels retorqued and discovered that the "Dayton" location did not torque all the wheels before i left. They put the wrong brake drum on the steer axle, so we had to get the right drum and a new set of shoes. They didn't put oil back into that hub, which led to me getting a brand new hub. They didn't torque the other hub to spec, so that was loose as a goose (the nut was literally removed by hand). They put the old hub on a new spindle, so another new hub. They put the wrong used drum back on my truck, so that drum and shoes had to get replaced with new. They mounted my brake chamber on the wrong holes. They put an inadequate amount of oil back into my diff, they pulled the axle and ONE DROP of oil dripped out (they were lucky the BRAND NEW spindle was undamaged). They failed to put the slack adjuster back on properly. I'm sure there was something else as well. The list felt like it went on and on.
Thankfully, everything was "warranty work" so I didn't have to pay for their incompetence. However... their incompetence costed me a load over the weekend as well as a Monday reload. Can't wait to see some compensation for that.
The only reason I will let them have the one star is because the staff was super friendly. Karen behind the desk was absolutely fantastic with my daughter.
I stopped here to get fuel and saw the largest snow flakes I have ever seen. I stayed the night there and because I was new to driving in the snow I was really thankful that I was not asked to move. This location has burger King inside and all amenities.
Jimmy and the entire staff here are amazing. They figured out what other ta in Virginia didn't even see and got my trailer fixed at a reasonable price. I am so lucky that I came here . I've asked them to look at the problem and not go by what the other ta wrote and they did, thank God they did ! Thank you sooooo much for getting me back on the road, your understanding of my lack of knowledge and not taking advantage of it. Hopefully when I'm here again it will be to say hi only, but if I need repair again, I know I'll be in good Profesional hands.

Lost an idler pulling Repairs were Quick. The individual that work there were awesome. The 2 mechanics that were there remind me of the property brothers but much funnier. Also Karen' works there a good one not a bad one.
Overall the store was nice. I am give it only three stars because the workers never acknowledge anyone in the store and the place SMELLED like dirty mop water or the water that comes out of trash. It was that was through the whole store.
Now, the store was as stocked as it could be during these times. The parking lot was very clean. Small, but clean.
Stopped here because I need to visit the shop. It’s a Sunday and I got here about 844pm. They said the earliest would be around 2am. I had no Choi but to take it. Hopefully I will get in at that time or earlier. It’s a Big lot with lots of parking. People seemed pretty friendly but they do have armed security WALKING AROUND IN PLAIN CLOTHES WITH THE GUN AT THE HIP LOL... that’s usually a very bad sign. a wrecker is definitely roaming the area so don’t try parking in ANY NO PARKING ZONES, HANDICAP OR RESERVED! Haven’t had a shower yet so I will update that later.
Slowest gas pumps in the area. I don't know if they are putting off changing filters or if they are slowing their gas pumps to make it look like your getting more for your money. What ever the issue is it needs corrected. They do have good food in their TA restaurant but I'm not a fan of the Burger King. I'd rather drive to the burger King in Richmond Indiana. Looks like this place needs a bit of work getting things up to customer satisfaction.
I was very happy with staff here. The woman at the counter and i talked for a moment. She is very knowledgeable! Showers are beautiful and clean. Site is wonderfully maintained... The best experience at a TA in a while.
I like every TA I go to..its enough space and parking for trucks and trailers. Love's and Pilots make you squeeze in so close I rarely go unless bobtail or get in early. The staff are friendly and the restrooms are good thats always important.
