Jerry is not only a great mechanic but such a kind person- he was very helpful in fixing my car when it was making a strange scraping noise, which required he lift my vehicle and remove a part from underneath. He refused to let me pay because he said it was such a small and easy job. I also had my car towed to Edge after I was in an accident- even though they do not do body work, they allowed my car to stay in their lot, removed my license plates for me, and offered their expertise whenever I decide to purchase a new car. Took my vehicle here as a first time customer for a check engine light and a routine inspection. Jerry immediately stopped what he was working on to set up an appointment for me. The transparency between the company and the customer was phenomenal, sending text updates as work was completed. Jerry and his crew at Edge Automotive are first class. We have taken cars in the past for minor work, but recently had a couple of situations where Jerry went above and beyond with no direct or immediate benefit to his business. First off, we had an issue with our SUV and a suspected rod problem. Jerry inspected the vehicle and gave a recommendation to take it to another shop, as it was outside of his scope. His diagnosis was right on. The most recent situation involved my daughter purchasing a car. Jerry have some good advice during our car search. Immediately after the purchase we had an issue with the exhaust/catalytic converter. Jerry checked out the car and ram diagnostics. With his advice we were eventually able to get the dealer to stand behind the car even though there was no warranty. Throughout the process, which covered a few weeks, Jerry followed up with me to see how it was going. There is some work that Edge needs to do on the car, but Jerry recommended holding off to see how much the dealer would cover, knowing full well it may cost him a portion of business. I would highly recommend Edge Automotive as a very honest and knowledgeable shop.

There are a lot of shops out there that don't care about anything else but taking your money. Not this place. They are top notch, honest and they do excellent work. Most of all, they actually care. My daughter's car had a driveability issue I could not diagnose, so I looked for a shop near where she lives in Sylvania. Since I live an hour away in Michigan, I was at the mercy of a Google search and reviews. Based on my search, I picked Edge Automotive. I'm glad I did! The shop owner, Jerry, spent quite a bit of time with me on the phone to understand the issue. In the middle of our discussion, he asked for my repair expectations and parts quality I preferred (OEM, aftermarket, used, etc.). In all of my years, no shop went into the level of detail like Jerry. Even though they spent hours diagnosing the car's issue, they only changed me for one, then offered great options for repair. The repairs recommended were appropriate and very fairly priced. I highly recommend Edge Automotive. I also have a place I feel comfortable sending my daughter for any future needs.

We’ve been going to Edge since we moved to the area in 2013. They have been great to work with. They get our cars in quickly and stick to their schedule. The couple times they found some discovery work, they were quick to notify us and communicate impact to both cost and schedule and get our approval before proceeding. They provide a realistic estimate before starting any work and talk you thru each item. Most times they won’t know what all is required until they get in there. On several occasions we had the final bill come in less than the estimate because they didn’t have to do everything they originally thought. They had our approval, could have proceeded with the work anyways and charged us and we’d be none the wiser...but that’s not how they operate. It’s always hard finding a good mechanic that does quality work, treats you with respect (doesn’t talk down to you), and doesn’t try to take advantage of you. This is what we experienced with Edge. It’s a locally owned business operated by a great family. I highly recommend them.

The most expert and ethical auto mechanics I've known in this area and in my former New York City location. Jerry has more knowledge about my 2003 Lexus than the two Lexus dealerships that serviced my car. Edge also has affordable honest prices. Most mechanics dismiss any input from a woman, but Jerry spends a great deal of time discussing various repair options with me. He even advised me at length about my recent car purchase. I've been a customer for 4 years -- I strongly recommend Edge Automotive!
