After getting stuck in a snow embankment, my car was shaking a lot and I had a long drive ahead of me. I called the shop, explained what was going on. They encouraged me to stop in so they could take a look at it. They were so prompt. They removed all the ice and snow, took it for a test drive ensuring the issue was resolved, my car was fixed! I’m forever grateful for them fitting me into their busy schedule.

Gunn’s Auto Service has provide my family and I with excellent quality service repairs and very friendly customer service. They have worked on my son’s 2014 Chevy Cruze LT and our daughter’s 2011 Chevy Malibu multiple times. They’ve done general maintenance on my wife and I’s cars as well. Gunn’s Auto Service is always willing to answer any questions we may have and give us tips on how to prevent issues from occurring again. Mary Kay at the front desk is very knowledgeable when calling and is always friendly. Overall, my family trusts no other mechanics other than Gunn’s Auto Service mechanics to work on our vehicles. Between the quality of work done, friendliness of the staff and the price point we’ve found no one that compares to them. We drive 30-40 minutes just to bring our vehicles to Gunn’s Auto Service if that says how much we trust and appreciate their craftsmanship.

Stopped at Gunns auto service because I ran over a fresh dear hit made lots of noise underneath. Underneath carriage inspection for any potential damage. Friendly and accommodating.
I can not give them less than 1 star, or I would. This place has been unreliable and untrustworthy since their beginning. They lied to me many years ago and screamed in my face when I asked them about the work they did not actually do. My son 20+ years later had car trouble. They came out to tow him. They did not ask where to take the car. They just took it to their shop without asking him. That is theft. They then did zero work and told him it would be $ 1500 for the work that may need done. He asked them then to put it back together because none of the work was authorized. They are now towing to our home and charging him 400$ for nothing! This man is a criminal! He should be put out of business!
This place was a lifesaver. I was on my way from Ft. Wayne to Cedar Point, and my car broke down. I stopped in Napoleon, OH and found this place on google. I came in, and they said they were backed up a week and didn’t have any time to fix my car, but they’d take a quick look. They ended up replacing both my battery and alternator, and I was back on the road within a few hours. Thanks so much!!!
Performed unauthorized work... refused to satisfactorily take care of the inferior products he put on & in my vehicle! Raised his voice at me as if I did something wrong, when they screwed up...Extremely unprofessional.
They charged $300 to tow a car 10 miles and we cleared up all the debris from the accident. Most unprofessional guy I've ever dealt with! Is NEVER use this company again!!!

The Gunn family helped me tremendously when the over aggressive insurance industry /companies tried to push me around. They towed my truck and refused to let the other parties insurance company come and take my vehicle after they'd tried convincing me I had to let them. I went to clean my truck out and the lady at the front told me I did not HAVE To let the insurance company take it. A very great couple doing an absolutely great job servicing their locks neighbors and surrounding areas!
I've never went back & A WORD OF CAUTION: please beware of attitude from this business if you're different in any way such as you look too ethnic, or your clothes are too baggy, or you speak with an accent etc.
Very judgmental service people! I was shocked at how rude they were to me especially for the first time i had ever used their services. I received the impression that i was not welcome. I was witness to a friend of mine also being treated as if he was some type of car thief & questioned as such even though my friend had proof of registration, valid license etc.
Very quick, very clean, nice staff and nice service. Had a wrecked car and needed to get my stuff out of it, was able to right after I was released from the hospital less than 2 hours later.
What a lifesaver! We had a bearing go out on a family trip and they got us fixed up and on our way super fast. We are so grateful for this great community resource!
I portray Ben Franklin and my wife Barbara portrays my assistant Goodye Watson. In September, 2011, Barbara and I were on the way to pick up a new tent. We attend primitive rendezvous and sell books on the American Revolution time period.
We were driving our Chevy Truck and pulling a travel trailer on US 24 near Napoleon, OH, when the Draw-Tite Hitch broke. Our pickup and travel trailer were totaled.
The folks from Gunn's Auto Service were called to tow our truck and trailer. The folks at Gunn's went out of their way to help us! They were friendly, professional, fair, and even took us and our gear to the Holiday Inn Express where we could wait for someone to come get us! Our experience with them really was outstanding. We were pretty much in shock and needed help! They were great!
