My family moved here a few years ago and our first few experiences with this store were never great but it eventually did improve . Today though, my Mother 68 years old needed a battery , there were only 2 workers in the store one gentleman who was handling 2 phones and running around , another women chatting with customers that have already checked out while there was a line . Despite the long wait my mom stayed because she didn’t have a lot of options her car has needed jumped twice. the women looked at her car and was willing to immediately give up stating the bolts are about to break off and refused to help, that poor man I don’t know his name she said he wasn’t wearing a badge but carrying an arm full of things who was about to go out for deliveries she said stopped and had the bolts out she said would break off in seconds . These two employees should not be in the store alone, if they are they need to do better for the customer I think this is going to be my families last visit to Autozone.
If you’re going to the Canal Winchester AutoZone, look for Joseph, the store manager. He is honest, professional, and very willing to help. He spent time assisting me with my car needs even though it didn't result in a sale for him. I really appreciate his integrity and will definitely be back because of him.
This place is always amazing with helping me!! I learn something new every time I go there. I love that the ladies there are very helpful and knowledgeable. The lady tonight changed my headlights and she showed me so I feel like I could definitely do it next time!
I stopped by Auto Zone to get ice melt and Selene and Dave M. were a wealth of knowledge! Dave M went above and beyond in the freezing cold to assist me! Customer service at its finest! I appreciate you Dave!

Selene helped me today by installing some wiper blades that weren’t the easiest to install. She was very friendly & conversational and I appreciated her assistance. I believe Selene may be the store manager. Stop by and see Selene and you’ll be helped with whatever you need!
The young boy with a black jacket is a champ I went with my 2015 Chevy Tahoe and my headlights bulb was not bright enough and I didn’t know if I needed the low beams or high so he patiently work with me to figure out what I needed for my car I 100% recommend this store and shout out to the young man ??
We bought a headlight bulb at a different location, for my work van. I got the wrong size bulb and we were close by this one so I attempted to return the bulb here. I didn't want to exchange it because the van had other work that needed done so I just had Firestone take care of the light bulb all I was there . Upon walking in the manager on duty said welcome in but she looked mad and The Welcome In seemed forced... a young male working the register with straight attitude asked how he could help us, told him we had a light bulb to return because we bought the wrong size. He asked if it had been opened and we stated yes, without even making eye contact he said that because it's been opened we can't take it back and walked away. He came back up and said we can't take it back because your fingerprint grease has gotten all over it and it ruins the bulb, and walked away again. The attitude from the staff alone at that location that we had never been in before will ensure that I never go back there.... we brought the bulb back to the location that we bought it from and they accepted it back and refunded it with no questions asked at all.
I didnt know the exact size I needed for my drain plug and the employees were nice enough and patient enough to let me try and find the right size, I wanted to say Tim was very patient with me going back and forth and the older black male, I wasn’t able to get his name, but he also helped me find Lucas stop slip and was joking with me and made me feel like a valued customer, thank you auto zone this time around because these 2 employees were better than a lot I’ve seen
Good god talk about poor customer service. Every single employees attitude was one of “leave me alone/don’t care”. There is a NAPA 0.5 miles down the road… go there instead.
I needed a windshield wiper after one of my brand new wipers broke apart & flew off of my windshield during a torrential rain on 33.
I was waited on by the Manager(I think)
He was prompt in figuring out what I needed & installing it within minutes. He was kind & considerate listening to me go on about my scary ordeal. He gave me the broken wiper & suggested I return it as faulty. He made my scary ordeal much easier to deal with. I am very grateful.
I needed a special oil and after one of the store employees looked for it,he eventually found it in the very back of the store out of sight from walk in customers, so a win win in my book.
I came in for a new battery, guy could get the battery cap on because the positive was loose. He ended up using a rubber mallet and after smashing it, he proceeds to say that it was already like that due to age....
I went in the store on Friday 12/13/2024 in the evening, I've always had wonderful service until the boys that were in the store were very rude and lazy. They threw names of what i needed, didn't give an exact type of oil, nor offered to show me where i could locate the oil. He sat on his ass, mumbling, at me. (one guy more than the others) he showed no customer service. No desire to help me at all. I left and got better service at Walmart...Pitiful. Doesn't even deserve a whole star.
I went to this location to purchase wiper blades and Dj was the associate who helped me out .not only was he helpful but very realistic,and kind. He helped me install them so I can get back on the road and not worry about rain .Thank you again Dj I'm very grateful.
Terrible encounter with a worker at this location today... if a worker doesn't have people skills, they should stay in the back of the store or stocking shelves. Y'all just lost a customer with a very egotistical individual... I'm sure they know who it is. There were 3 other people on shift when I brought his behavior up to him. Canal Winchester Resident
The two younger white guys and older black man were too busy talking about how his baby mom is mad he got a girlfriend to help me. The parts sales manager Gabriella refused to help me figure out if I needed a fuse or replacement bulbs. Overall terrible customer service and clearly no desire to help customers.
Best experience I've ever had. They helped me with parts and loved me some tools to fix my car. I am from Texas so when I had an issue I didn't have the tools with me. Thank you sooo much for extending all of the help that you gave me. I don't remember the lady name. She was amazing. ??
Don't buy from here. I bought 5qts of oil. There was a pin hole in the jug, unfortunately I didn't have the receipt to return it. I called a told them the jug leaked on my floor mat and garage floor. They said they wouldn't return it due to me not noticing it was leaking before I left the store.
Our battery died in front of the Vapor Station in the Walmart shopping center. We were so flustered and stressed from preparing to move that we forgot about Auto Zone RIGHT ACROSS FROM US.
My husband walked around the corner to Wal-Mart and bought a battery and a tool he thought he needed there.
When he came back, he discovered he needed additional tools to unhook the tie-down for the battery. That's when we remembered Auto Zone.
My husband hurried over to Auto Zone on Gender and was quickly back with Kayla, the store manager. Even though the new battery was not bought at Auto Zone, she agreed to help.
She had the old battery out and the new battery in in just a moment, it seemed. After requesting that she accept a tip, she declined with a smile and wished us a great weekend and a safe ride home.

We were in town from Indiana for a wedding when my car lost all power. I was able to drive to this store and Samual and Dom could not have been more helpful. We ended up needing 2 different replacement parts and renting tools. They kept coming out to check on us (they graciously let us fix it where my car stopped - directly in front of their store). The kindness they showed and their knowledge was so appreciated!!
Let me start by saying that I've never received such amazing service at any auto parts as I have at this AutoZone. I only went to purchase a headlight, I wasn't expecting anyone to put it in. Without hesitation, Selene and Justin really went above and beyond on customer service. Not only did they install my light bulb, they were very courteous and friendly. I’m so thankful for their kindness! It's really hard to find exceptional customer service these days. I would highly recommend this store for all your auto parts needs. I will definitely be a repeat customer! Keep up the great work!
Selene, the store manager, really went above and beyond on customer service. My battery died across the street from AutoZone and I called and asked if they have mobile service and she, without hesitation, said no but she would help me. Selene came herself and installed my battery and chatted with me and was polite and friendly and awesome. This was way more than I could have asked for and I’m so thankful for her kindness!
I was extremely thankful for the Store Manager Selene. She was a WOMAN A BLACK WOMAN AT THAT that helped me so much today. Selene customer service was absolutely amazing. She checked my battery and even installed it for me and now I’m back in business with my van! Thank you so much Selene and the other young lady for the best customer service. I really appreciated it. This place has the MVP of customer service for automotives in my honest opinion. Joel has helped me with a battery and an air conditioner in the past month and his effort has won me over as a loyal customer to there as long as they have employees like this. He deserves recognition because you can tell he cares about his job and his customers concerns. Thank you.
