HORROR STORY...BUYER BEWARE! I talked to Nicole, about a nice low mileage rear end assembly they had to fit a 2001 f350. She stated it was in the vehicle yet but could have it shipped out in a week. She gave me a price quote.
I called my customer and confirmed the deal was good to go and they could wait the required time frame. November 11, 2020 I called to order the engine. I gave my credit card to pay for the transaction. They emailed me a copy of the credit card transaction. All was going well so far.
November 19, 2020 (6 business days later), I called to find out what my tracking number for the part was. Nicole informed me that she told me 1 week and that is 7 business days, but she said it was being worked on that day. Ok, I can understand a miscommunication and it should leave the next day.
Called again and was told I would receive a call back with information as they didn't know if this was pulled out or shipped yet.
November 30, 2020 I called in total 4 times. Each time I was assured they were going to figure out if this part was removed or shipped and what the tracking number was. I never received a return call. The last time I called I was trying to cancel the order and was put on hold for 50 minutes until I finally hung up. I then emailed them, from the address that they sent my credit card transaction from, to inform them that my customer has canceled the order and I was no longer in need of this part.
December 8, 2020 I get my first reply from Nicole, an e-mail, saying the rear end I cancelled 8 days prior was now shipped and she gave me a tracking number. Literally 8 minutes after the email I responded informing her that the order was cancelled via e-mail with her boss on November 30, 2021. Yet again no response.
The product showed up here and I refused it as I didn't need it anymore. I then email again a few days later requesting my credit. Again in a few days I reached out to Nicole and her boss for a credit. I did receive a credit or refund.
I was running out of options so, I was forced to cancel the charge with my credit card. Worse in the end they got their product back and the credit card company sided with them, because they provided a "document" that stated they don't give refunds under any circumstance. It would have been nice to hear that before placing my order! First I wouldn't have ordered from them, and second having known that I would have kept the part to at least re-coop some of the $1700 they scammed from me. FYI capital one was my former card and I provided all the email transactions and phone records of calls to them in this case and they still sided with this company!
