I've been there quite a few times they're convenient that's the only thing I can say the people there are really nice I've never had a problem and they always treated me great and the workers in the yard stopped to help me unload my stuff quite a few times the people there are really nice. Unfortunately their pay does suck. If you need the money take yourself somewhere else. I go there just to clean up stuff out of my yard so I don't need the money
What's going to bring in my aluminum and they tell me it's 20 cents a pound but everywhere else is 50 to 90 and they waste your time I see that they have several people that give them five stars it must be people that they know are in their family trying to get their reviews up because this place is awful
One of their drivers intentionally attempted to run me off the road for flipping him off after going all over the highway, I called to complain and they didn't bother to respond so I thought I would share a video of what they appear to believe is acceptable. Edited for length. Their logo visible in the beginning of the video on the door, then at the end you can see him attempt to push me twice. The driver also gestured what appeared to be an invitation to meet him ahead to fight him.
Make you drive around too many times. Also pretty sure scales round down a bit. I just had aluminum cans and most places have a basket and give you your exact weight and they make me drive around the scales twice. Told me I only had 40 lbs when it was closer to mid 50s. Do not recommend this place at all sad how unorganized it is.
If I could give less stars I would. The level of incompetence at this facility is staggering. They make you dive around and around in circles. They have no idea what is going on. The Lady at the front is unpleasant and Narcissistic. She has a bad attitude and will definitely argue with you about the proses. Don't ask questions because she will let you know about how you are wasting her time. Had me drive acrost the scales multiple times Had to go in and confirm what I was off Loding. Several different prices for aluminum but make you drive across the scales and unload it all in one spot for one price. The don't want you to waste their time but have no problem wasting your time and shortchange you on the weight and quality of aluminum. I have been to many metals recycling establishments and have a good idea of how this proses works. If you value your time and want an accurate account for what you bring then DO NOT GO TO Pleasent Valley Iron & Metal in West Union Ohio. I will be taking my business elsewhere.
Took in a car with a gvwr weight of 4078 was even packed with an AC and a bunch of metalin back seat along with trunk Came across the scale as 3180. Scales around 1000 pounds off guys. Would not recommend bring in any vehicles they’ll jus rip you off. Definitely taking business elsewhere for sure. Will not be coming back PERIOD. An 120 a ton on a complete car with catts. Idk who y’all are fooling but get YOUR JUNK FIXED.
Very friendly people I was there on the day of the eclipse and the employee came out and ask if I would like to look at the eclipse using his special glasses. Very thoughtful
