Most beautiful arena I've ever been to. The seats were comfortable, lots of food options, and there is no bad seat in the entire place! Even in the upper bowl, you have a magnificent view of the action.

Fantastic arena to watch the Duluth bulldogs! After we sweep the Sioux this weekend there is only one question to answer.....who let the DAWGS out! LETS GO BULL-DOGS!

Originally from Texas, here for the military and my first hockey game ever! It was awesome! Pro sport atmosphere, the stadium was beautiful! Wish food was a little better but other than that it was a good time!

How can you not love The Ralph? Leather seats with cherry wood armrests, great seats whether you're in the upper or lower bowl and Kona Big Wave beer. Forever Home of the Fighting Sioux.

Definitely worth a visit and to get a tour. I'm sure attending any event would be 5 Stars. The attention to detail and high-end surfaces are second to none. Russ Wald San Tan Valley, AZ

The Ralph is a World Class Hockey Arena - and is the home of the University of North Dakota Collegient Hockey Team. To many, the team will always be known as the Fighting Sioux. (Others call the team by its newly adopted name, The Fighting Hawks) The Ralph is adorned with numerous Fighting Sioux marble/tile inlays throughout the facility. It is truly an experience to attend a game at the Ralph! Go there if you are able!

Ralph Engelstad Arena is hands down one of the most beautiful hockey venues out there. The attention to detail is incredible, from the granite floors to the wood accents, making it feel truly first-class. The atmosphere is electric, and every game feels like a special experience. A must-visit for any hockey fan!

Took the tour and went to two games featuring UND vs Univ of Denver. I highly recommend the tour. You get to see areas you won’t see just going to a game. The highlight is the UND fan base though. One would be hard pressed to find a better vibe anywhere including professional sports venues in huge cities. I can’t stop talking about my trip here! Fun, fun, fun!

WOW!!!! I have heard for years that this place was the Taj Mahal of hockey. It is the finest arena I have ever been to and I've been to a lot. Finally got to a game October 25, 2024. The outside of the building with its red brick design is stunning to see. This red brick thing is big in Grand Forks. The eye candy continues once you get inside. Polished granite floors, Fighting Sioux Logo in the floor and all over the place. UND hockey history all over the place. The gift shop is amazing too. No shortage of food and drink stands. Packed house and never a line more than 3 people deep. Prices fall in line with typical sporting venues. The arena bowl does not have a bad seat to watch from. We were upper deck, row 3 in one of the corners. Great spot to watch a game. My favorite part was the fan experience. 99% of people are in team colors. The atmosphere in there was just electric. The fans take so much pride in their team, the different chants and traditions, which we took part in. It was so much fun. I am one of those guys that love to travel around to different stadiums and arena's. Well this one is must see. 10 STARS on this one. You will not be disappointed.

Took in a tour of the facility - very impressive and great attention to detail. An amazing place for athletes to grow and compete with a rich history and heritage. It was interesting to learn more about the late Ralph Engelstad and his foundation and the generosity and appreciation they display towards this facility, the athletes and the community. As a former long time facility manager, I was also blown away at how meticulously maintained and cared for this facility is. Everyone clearly takes pride in and appreciates what they have. A good example to follow for sure.

We visited post college graduation but it would be so cool to watch games here. It's nicer than some NHL arenas.

This place is awesome! It's a wonderful place to catch a game. The food and beverage options are plentful. I also caught a tour of the place and you see behind the scenes stuff of UND hockey. These folks do a nice job.

What a beautiful arena and all around great experience. (Even if my team lost!)

One of those rare arenas where there is not a bad seat in the house. I make it back very rarely these days after several years as a hockey season ticket holder, and if there’s a way to swing a visit when I am in town, I always do so.

This is the most beautiful sports venue I’ve ever been to, great place to watch hockey.

The Ralph never fails to entertain! I've been there several times and still haven't found a bad seat in the house. We usually just get the cheap seats up in the 'nose bleeds' but even they offer a great view. The staff is great. They are very professional and well trained. Bathrooms are clean and every where. Tons of food options with prices on point for what they should be.

The pinnacle of greatness. Best hockey venue for college out there. Amazing atmosphere for hockey games and concerts. One of the best in country, it is a must see! The addition of the new jumbotron has taken the experience to the next level. If you are a fan of hockey, add this to your bucket list.

This place is always the best place to go on a Friday night. Most of the tickets are under $30 and their food options are amazing. They also have beer and after game busses to popular bars around town.

HOLY.....COW. My wife and I are Bronco hockey fans from southern Michigan. We drove to Grand Forks to watch our boys play, but also see the Ralph, made out to me to be the Taj Mahal of hockey, not just college hockey. It didn’t disappoint. Mr. Engelstad didn’t spare any expenses or any amount of planning. He did well and the atmosphere shows. The culture and excitement when you walk around the building is electric. In Michigan, you’d feel about the same stuff at a Red Wings game. Well, this is the NHL of this area, so it’s got all the glitz and glamor of an NHL game, probably even more. And with more tradition added. There are counters everywhere for you to set stuff on and collect your family for a minute. There’s more food and drink than you could imagine. The crowd participation puts any other hockey team to shame. The floors are immaculate. Heck, everything is immaculate (there was no point in making that comment just about the floors; it’s literally everything). We came to visit the best of the best and it did not disappoint. It truly is the best of the best.

Love the Englestad Arena with all the throwbacks to UND's heritage with the Fighting Sioux name and logo. Recently was there for the Kane Brown concert. The concert was good, especially from the Betaseed club! My only negative comment is it seems like the concert acoustics were really off sitting up there. It maybe was fine down on the floor, but higher up it sounded a bit off... but overall it was a good show with good performers who had great interaction with the crowd!

Great times watching the Fighting Sioux bear up Alaska on Friday night. Awesome facilities. Everyone should be proud to have a facility like that honoring past players and native Americans.

The arena is beautiful. Plenty of stuff to eat and suvinours to buy around the outside. In the arena area there does not look to be one bad seat at all. All seats are nicely cushioned as well.
