If I could give them 100 stars I would. While traveling to Jonesville to camp I had a check engine light come on with a DEF issue. I was able to drop my camper at the campground and immediately find these guys. They were referred by another company just by doing a google search since I’m not from this area. Once I made it to their shop with 13 miles left before limp mode they stopped what they were doing diagnosing the issue, ordered parts and had them delivered that day. Keep in mind this is at 1:00 in the afternoon. Once th part arrived they made the repair and had me back on the road to enjoy my weekend of camping. Not only did they take in a stranger who had never gave them business before but put everything else to the side to get me going. I dare say this day and time you will find may shops willing to do this. The owner and other guys were also a pleasure to chat with while waiting on parts. I can’t say enough how pleased I was and they had me as I was stuck and pricing was honest and fair. They could have charged me anything but was fair and honest which is hard to find in today’s time.
Worst experience I have ever had at a Mechanic shop, First off took him 2 months to order parts. Then after giving me the run around for 2 months didn't even know I was dropping my truck off when we text the night before. Then took 2 weeks to even start on my truck, with NO communication from him. Finally after a month I finally had to just show up to even pick my truck up and he wasn't even there. After getting my truck he done a HALF ASS job on it by not even doing the full job we talked about it was half ass done and with cheap China parts, and then all the extra stuff he talked me into was no where in sight. So now I am out $4500 on a half ass delete job that isn't even done correctly and was told the whole time "how hard it was" now I have to find someone else to finish the half ass job he started! If you care about your truck please do not drop it off here!!!
I was quoted a $8000 job and was ok with it but then no communication until I had to bug him for answers or just show up like I had to do to pick it up (no phone call to say its ready after a month in shop and was leaving to go out of state the next morning) Apparently he does not know what he is doing on with stuff that teenage boys are doing on the weekend, he cant do in a shop within a month!
Tracy and his guys were the only ones who will ever work on my truck. They fixed it very quickly even after the Ford dealership said they couldn't find the problem. Thanks again
Last time I will ever use a diesel mechanic who also does towing. Way too expensive and not transparent about parts prices before service. Towing companies always overcharge for everything.
Went over my whole truck and told me what needed to be done. Got it running great and let me know the other things that would need to be done down the road. Fast service, too. Used good parts, not cheap stuff.
