Update: Car worked okay for one month….. now its over 5400 dollars of work to be done or the car wont work. (Just a month month later) Deposit on the car was $3,000 now there is all this work to be done…..
They were amazing! I was in and out test driving 2 cars and papers signed within 2 hours. The ladies in the front were helpful and friendly. I will definitely be coming back!

I bought a SUV from this place two weeks and the alternator went out and when I called to let them know they said they can’t do nothing about that not even knock down on the price I’m paying for it!! WARN ANYONE LOOKING FOR RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT GET A VEHICLE FROM THEM!! You will waste your money!! They repo a truck that was paid for then said then said it would be almost $4000 to get it back and only had 10days to pay to get it back within that 10days they had bagged almost all things beside what was stolen sat it in the back of the truck in the rain ruined saws all batteries babies car seat linetools & impact tools stolen then when was asked about it they said they couldn't tell me who cleaned the truck out or who stole the items said it wasn't their problem they had to get back to a call rather protect thieves then help with customer service

I had an extremely disappointing experience with Wendell Auto Brokers. On the very same day I purchased my SUV, the check engine light came on during the hour drive home. I took it to my mechanic and was shocked to learn that all four catalytic converters needed replacement, a repair estimated at $3,400. Seeking a second opinion, another mechanic informed me that the check engine light had likely been cleared before the sale to conceal these issues. Additionally, it was noticed that the car had a brand-new gas cap, a clear indication that the dealership had attempted to mask or temporarily remedy the two CEL codes prior to selling the vehicle.
When I returned to the dealership to discuss this and express my frustration, I was met with complete disregard. Joy, the manager, told me bluntly that I had bought the car "as is" and that "there's nothing we can do." Rather than attempting to work with me on any resolution, she ordered me to leave the establishment.
This experience left me appalled at the lack of integrity, accountability, and basic customer care. Never in my life have I dealt with such vain and dismissive businesspeople. I strongly caution anyone considering purchasing a vehicle from this dealership—buyer beware.

They pressure you to leave the review right after purchase because they know they sell POS cars That shouldn’t be sold especially not those high end prices they tag on the vehicle . My car was full of blue devil after further investigating several parts were replaced but had old pieces with them . For instance I had a new alternator with an old rotted serpentine belt , turbo was fried , gauges don’t work . And so forth an so on only a week after purchase when I really had time drive the car longer than 15-30 mins. Mrs. Joy the manager of the place is a fraud she s very nasty and not one for customer service ,she knows she sells POS lemons and refuses to come to some type of conclusion with the vehicle but is demanding money for something that isn’t very driveable will probably try and resale only cares about the money and not customers who keep them in business . Stay far away travel a mile or two up the road . DO NOT SHOP HERE DO NOT BUY HERE
Wendell Auto brokers dont care about anything. Wasn't even a month late on car payment an they didnt want to give me a little more time to pay. Then came to get the car from me an my 6 year daughter left us stranded, gave them the keys the same night then got there to get my things out the car they already packed it with your things thrown every where. So please people GO SOMEWHERE else to purchase your NEXT VEHICLE!!!!!!

Seems to have nice cars. Will have to let you know in the future since i will be possibly purchasing a vehicle from them maybe.maybe not.turns out to be no sale.cars are about 2000 or more above market value and as i was told..the price is the price today tommarow come back next year same price owner says he wont budge.10% interest in house she said but after the comment..well lets see.took my down payment and paper work needed for the financing with me and they kept the vehicle.
I absolutely CANT STAND my SUV!! They are completely rude. They will hang up if you try to work with them on their issues. DO NOT PURCHASE OR FINANCE FROM HERE. They have ruined the company’s name in a whole. Paid 5k for a vehicle that’s now in the shop with over 9k worth of damages they didn’t disclose was wrong with it. Now I’m back to square one with a daughter who has seizures and I can’t get her to her appointments thanks to Wendell Auto Brokers. Was trying to go an easy simple route but my hand is now forced to take the legal route.
Update: The suv has a transmission issue and nothing was stated when I got it that anything was wrong with it. The lady insisted I didn’t test drive on the highway to cover up the fact that something was wrong with it. Now they are refusing to do anything to help or replace what they did. All I’m told was it was as is but they claim it was nothing wrong when I got it. Only had the car for about a good 2 months and the car has been messing up since a month after I purchased. Oh and to top it off, someone told me they had got this vehicle but took it back immediately after they realized something was wrong with it but they claim nothing was wrong at all! They are full of it. DO NOT GET A VEHICLE FROM HERE.

After further looking into things when I got home with my vehicle that was purchased from this place, I find that they were dishonest about the Honda Accord that I purchased from them yesterday, they used imagine from a totally different vehicle for certain things to make the car look more appealing.. yes, I did think some things were off when I looked at the car but some things I didn't notice until I got home with the vehicle! I just value honesty because then that makes me wonder what else are they being dishonest about. The back bumper on the car I purchased had some paint knocked off of it, the one in the picture looked perfect, this car has an After market key fob that doesn't function some things that it should.. they never mentioned it, the steering wheel on the one in the picture looked perfect, this car the knobs are more worn and I know they used a picture from another one because the milage was way off in the picture. JUST BE CAREFUL WHEN MAKING YOUR PURCHASE. PAY CLOSE ATTENTION! DONT BE DECEIVED!
I absolutely love my Honda. The ladies over here in Wendell are so sweet, kind and willing to work with you. Everything was a smooth process and they have some of the most top quality vehicles. If you’re in need of a vehicle go check them out. They are amazing.
If I could give Wendell Auto Brokers a negative star I would. I would not recommend this place even as a last option. I have only had this car for almost 2 months and the engine started knocking 2 weeks into possession and gave out on the 3rd week. Not sure if they offered warranty before, but they don’t now. Spoke with Joy the office manager who advised the cars are as is and as we know used cars have issues. She also advised they are unable to predict when an issue like major engine issues will occur. She also advised they do not sell cars with known motor issues, they give their customers the opportunity to inspect the cars etc.
This is foolishness, they only let you test drive the car for a few minutes. Now granite unless you take a mechanic with you, who’s to say they have not had someone put a temporary fix on the car. With only a few minutes to inspect, even if you bring a mechanic along no one can take a look at the car and diagnose excessively.
I find it hard to believe that a car you have on your lot only developed a motor issue two weeks off of your lot. I believe that your business partners with auto shops to identify major issues like this and are able to put a temporary solution in place until the vehicle is sold. I have gone to other dealerships who advised of these issues and were upfront.
You know that saying you get what you pay for, well they mean it literally here. The quality does not matter to them. I will never return here. I would recommend you all stay away from this place. If you want something used and have bad credit or limited funds. There are other dealerships (buy here pay here) in Youngsville NC off of US 1, and Raleigh that have warranty and great values. They will also give you their honest opinion about the car you choose especially their Volkswagens. It’s up to you to take that information and digest it. I was definitely in a rush because I wanted to pay cash. I’m in the process of buying a home and did not want a huge loan on my credit. Trust me, I will never go the cheap route again.
I found a pickup I was interested in here, took it for a test drive and buyer's inspection, and finalized my purchase. The entire purchase process was handled in a friendly manner, professionally, and efficiently. I wasn't pressured to buy the truck or any warranty. I asked to look at a different truck, for comparison; and was quickly accommodated. Everyone in the office was cheerful. I'd definitely consider purchasing another vehicle through WAB when the need arises.
Came here to look at a 2012 Honda Accord and I took it for an inspection at a nearby shop. The shop said there was $1500 work that needed to be done now (shocks, flush fluids, alignment, rear tires) and likely another $1500 to fix a rear engine leak in the future. They said the shocks were so bad it caused a dent in the top of the tires and they cautioned not driving it in the rain until the work had been done.
Wendell Auto wanted $8000 for the car so I asked to go down to $6000 considering all the work that needed to be done. I would have even taken $6500/$7000 but they said they couldn't go down lower that $7500. Going down $500 after I spent $170 for an inspection is ridiculous and all I can think is they're gonna try to con someone else into buying this car when they know it needs work which puts a sour taste in my mouth.
I cannot recommend. After speaking to Joy several times over a 2 day period to make sure we had everything in order to drive a car off of their lot and driving 1 1/2 hours after work to buy a vehicle without needing financing we were told that they don't take personal checks. They said they'd take a personal check for a deposit to hold the car until we came back, though. That didn't happen. You can't waste 3 hours of my time and expect me to want to do business with you. They lost a guaranteed sale.
UPDATE 9/10/24: I’ve since bought 2 cars with cash/check and neither one was from this place.
So my experience here was quite disheartening. I came to This Lot on June 16, 2023 looking for a vehicle for my Son. I totally understand not being the pushy car salesman, but the amount of time it took for someone to come out and greet us was ridiculous. We walked around looking at different cars excepting someone to come out and introduce themselves and ask how can they assist us. It literally took 5 minutes for someone to come out which by that time I was already not feeling making a purchase from there. So we continued to look around at the inventory they had. My son had financing in hand from his credit union which I did see a car that may have been a good buy but I just wasn’t pleased with our initial interaction for us to come back to make the sale so we went somewhere else which as truly sad because I wanted to like this place.
I just stopped be to get a picture of the 4 Chevrolet SSr convertibles they had. I had to send a picture to my dad. He paid $8k above sticker price to buy the first one in the Orlando area. He drove it 2 years and General Motors had to buy it back for the price he paid for it minus mileage. It ended up costing him slightly over $200 a month to own after the Florida Lemon Law and an Intermittent air conditioning system inoperative problem.
I recently purchased a car from this dealer. I was a bit wary initially as it appears much of their business is "buy here/pay here". However, the dealer had a low-mileage Honda S2000 I was strongly interested in. All contact had to be via phone, text, and email as I live out of their area, 450 miles away from the dealership.
My entire contact was with Joy Trejo. I found her very straightforward and honest to deal with. She applied absolutely no pressure to buy. I mean, zero. When I asked for an independent inspection before placing a deposit on the car, she obliged and waited for the inspection to be done.
Once the inspection revealed the car was to my satisfaction, I felt comfortable leaving a deposit and arranging to pay the car in full. No odd fees in addition to the the typical documentation fee. Please note: deposit requested was 10% and was not refundable, so it was good that I waited for the inspection to leave it. Joy also assisted me in having the car transported to me here in Ohio for a reasonable rate. She was easy to contact during the entire process.
I just received the car a few days ago and it's exactly as the inspector described.
Overall, I had a straightforward, positive experience and I am satisfied with my purchase. Thanks, Joy!
