picked up a load from here in a dryvan they took over 5 hours to load me then over loaded so i had to wait again to get unloaded took me an hour to get my trailer cleaned after delivering would not recommend
I had dealt with Foss many years ago, and still excellent service!! …EASY IN/EASY OUT ..Within 30 seconds upon arrival an attendant had greeted me , checked my scrap contents , gave me a number and showed me where to unload my truck and trailer.
After leaving the scales I unloaded my gear , returned back through the scales.The office people checked my DL, and gave me a pay receipt; I collected my loot from the in-house ‘atm’ and was on my way home! It’s a seller’s market as of 4.9.2024 in the Piedmont! Exemplary people ! Thx , Foss!

First time - what a great place! Really had no idea what I was doing - at other places I've weighed going in/out and was paid by the pound. Zane was a rockstar and patiently told me which items to take for separate pricing. Probably got twice what I expected...in cash. Shane was brilliant and efficient in sorting out the fancy stuff. THIS is the place to go - worth the extra miles to get there! And to top it all off, I gave Zane a $15 tip for his patience...and he would not take it. Class act!
Had a great experience brought 33 ibs of bright wire copper got 78$ for it (it's March 2019) and 30 for misc metal and alum cans. Great attitude from the workers very prompt and professional. Easy to navigate the yard just ask anyone and they can tell you where to go plus there are signs clearly posted to navigate you as well. Definently had a good experience and I've gone to DH Griffin my whole life. This is more convenient and just as prominate.
It was ok I thought they would show you the weight and tell you the price but they just grab it and give you money. I would have liked to kept it till it was either worth more or I got more to go with it had I known the amount they were giving me.
I recycle there all the time. Well. One every two months. Drink cans. And other items sometimes. But they are hard working and very friendly and pay you for your recycling that needs to be done. Sometimes it's a great price and sometimes. Not. Like the stock market. Well actually it does coinside with the market prices. Lol. My bad. Recommendations to go for sure!!
Tow a 5000lb car 30 miles to the junkyard and get told "sorry our system is down, we can't take it, nothing we can do" No offer to compensate for my gas or time or anything....They should be making it right if there gonna have to turn business away...give me a cent more next time or something....but nope just "sorry, have a good day"....NOT HAPPY as I drive back home with my junk car still on the trailer and out $40 in gas and my afternoon....WOWW
People here are helpful to get you where you need to go to recycle here and handle most of the work for you and easy to claim your cash when you're done
Service was good I was very disappointed with prices didn’t even get enough to pay for gas it cost me to get there but other than that was ok experience
