Obviously waking up Monday morning to find your car gone from in front of your apartment isn't great, but the people there were surprisingly pleasant do deal with??? I paid $180 to get my car back, make sure to bring CASH.
They were the best! I explained what happened to my car, showed them a picture of it and told them where it was. They called me back with a estimate that was reasonable and my car was fixed before lunch time the next day! You can’t ask for better service than that. I’m so glad I know where to go when I need a mechanic and or tow that’s reliable and trustworthy. Thank you
This was definitely the worst experience I have ever had with a towing company. When the driver arrived, he was confused and did not know what to do. He was very rude and made false accusations. He said he had to go back to his shop and get a different truck because he was not knowledgeable enough to know how to tow my vehicle correctly. He never returned leaving me in a dangerous area. I then had to have Geico dispatch a different towing company through Roadside Assistance, which was Platinum Towing/Johnny’s Automotive. They arrived quickly and were outstanding Towing my vehicle immediately and correctly and going above and beyond to provide me safety. I highly recommend their services located in Williamston, North Carolina. I do not recommend any of the services that Anderson and Sons provide. I would have given no stars if I could have.
They took my car that was perfectly parked in the visitors section where I live and said that it was "double parked" right before the storm to get money off of people during this desperate time. Horrible company all together

Best car repair experience in life! Not only did I save 1 thousand dollars on my repair compared to the other guys. Theywent ahead and dealt with another issue while they were in there. My car didn't make it home after the job because of another issue no fault of their own, and they took care of a brother immediately. And that was reasonable as well. This is my new shop.
While it feels weird to give the towing company who towed away my car for a parking violation a 5 star review, they did a great job. When I get the call from my partner that our brand new AWD EV got towed (Hyundai Ioniq 6), my brain was filled with horror stories of damaged bumpers and ruined electric motors. Luckily, they towed it correctly using a dolly to keep all the wheels off the ground. They also didn't damage anything, and their fee was reasonable at $130, $100 base fee and $30 for using the dolly. I'll definitely use them if I ever need to voluntarily tow anything.
Mr Anderson was helped us salvage our vacation by getting us towed and made sure we were able to secure our car overnight while waiting for repairs. He went above and beyond and is truly a good person.
Allen figured out and fixed the issues on my car pretty quickly. I had taken it to two other mechanic shops and those other shops had it for almost two months and never diagnosed the problem. I will definitely be taking my vehicles to them for any repairs I can't do. Price of repairs were reasonable too in my opinion.
David Sutton was so helpful and made sure my car was taken care of after having to take it to three different places. This is the only place I call if my car needs to be towed. Excellent service and so kind.

They over charged me. They quoted me a price on the telephone; I paid the initial quoted price, over telephone, via debit card. They came out to tow my vehicle less than half a mile, then charged me an additional amount. CROOKS! DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICES!!
Had to get my car towed after it was hit in an ECU parking lot. I’m a student and my parents live 4 hours away. It was my first timing dealing with something like this and Anderson was very understanding, patient and accommodating with my class schedule. Once the tow truck showed up I felt like my car was in good hands and everything was taken care of so I could get to class on time.
trashy & shady business. they towed my car from my apartment when i clearly had a pass on the windshield. i called them to make sure that my car was there before i went to get it and they told me multiple times that they didn’t have my car. one stolen car police report and a lot of stress later, the police finally managed to get in touch with them and force someone to go down to their lot and find my car. of course, it was there. then they tried to charge me a holding fee for the 1 day that i “didn’t pick up my car” when i was literally told that they didn’t have it. and i still ended up having to pay $150 to get my car back. the trashiest people and business i have ever dealt with.
I had to have my sons car towed. I am in Florida and he is at ecu. They were slow to respond with solutions to the problem. I decided to have it towed by a friend that is a mechanic. It had been 3 days and I hadn’t heard from them. I admit, this auto shop made the right diagnosis, however with the lack of communication I just didn’t feel comfortable leaving it there. I think this is a fair review.
Got my car towed and it was reasonable not complaining, however they were rude and got charged $150. They took my car for 3 hours and if I did not pick it up before 5pm it would have been more they said. It had to be cash because they do not accept anything else.
IF YOU ARE READING and you got towed.. no matter how long they take it, if it's 30 minutes or 5 hours with in that same day it will be $150 after 5pm they will charge more.
God awful service. Had a accident in which the brake line failed and a curb was hit. The right axle of the vehicle was busted with a poorly attached tire. The police called this tow company as my tow company was en route and said we had to use this service although my tow provider was only 5 minutes out because they got there slightly earlier.
The tow technician came with a standard tow dolly. And attempted to lift the car as he was lifting it he was causing more damage, we said stop your causing more damage, we could hear more metal bending and the undercarriage was visibly being distorted.
He said it “doesn’t matter it was a totaled anyways” and continued to cause additional damage to the vehicle. It wasn’t his call to determine the damage of our vehicle it is our mechanics call not the towing company. He made no attempts to try a alternative method of towing and the establishment has a flat rack at their disposal which was how this was supposed to be addressed.
Considering that we had liability insurance that leads to more money out of pocket on our end to get the repair, adding a larger coat burden for the damage we already sustained.
When I requested to speak to management they called me crazy and in summary said that it was going to be more damage anyways.
I called my tow service to remove it from this establishments yard and they brought a flat rack to tow the vehicle without having to be told to do so, considering the type of damage the vehicle had. They carefully lifted the vehicle, jacking it first and then putting it on a flat rack with no warping, or metallic bending noises.
This establishment did a piss poor job of moving the vehicle and did not care about protecting the vehicle or customers concerns. If I could rate them lower than 1 star I absolutely would. My recommendation is to avoid this company at all cost. Both their technicians and leadership lack professionalism and a working understanding of how to to get the job done with minimal collateral damage.
Thank you for the service that you provided for me today. God put people in the right place in other folk time of need. This towing service got me and my mom back to LaGrange NC safe and sound. Never had to ride in a tow truck before but it was a fun ride. Hats off to my driver. I had fun laughing and talking with you. I hope my mom and I made your afternoon a good one.
I was helping my friend get her car fixed because the brake lights wouldn’t come on at all and it was the worst mistake ever. Let’s start off by saying the man rushed us to give him our information while on the phone with someone else so we got no details about when it would be looked at or what to expect. Next, they call us the next day and tell us the want to charge us $600 to fix it and $100 just to pick it up even though no work had been done to it. To top it off when my friend got her car back the turn signals( which worked fine before) now do not work at all either, the inside of her car was also trashed. They took all of her personal items out of her glove box and threw it all over the car and someone even left their hat in the car. To make matters worse we found out another mechanic could fix it for $150 vs. $600, over priced is an understatement.
Charged me $150 for a three block tow (car wasn't even wrecked, otherwise it may have been a small fortune), when my car broke down as I was exiting their lot about a block away they told me they would charge me the same again, also left my car key out in an area where anyone could've walked off with it. On top of their outrageous rates, they also charge a 4% card fee.
Last night my bike broke down in winterville and I was told by my insurance company that it would take an hour to have someone there 15 minutes later I got a call from them saying they had to get their bike cart and would be there soon i only waited a total of 30 minutes from the call to the insurance to the tow truck showing up. Albert was awesome with getting the bike on the truck and strapped it down very well. And didnt even think twice about having to drive it back to Suffolk, Va 107 mi drive. Didnt bother him at all. If anything happens to my vehicles their gonna be my first call.
Just had some car difficulty so I called for a tow truck. They arrived promptly and when he got there, he asked about the problem I was having. He checked it out himself and realized that my cables connecting to my battery weren’t functioning properly, tightened them, and my car started right up!! Thank you so much for making this already stressful time with Florence looming in, feel much less stressful!!
The gentleman who towed my car arrived very promptly, my car wouldn’t shift so towing it was not very convenient but he made it work! Cheaper than towing using my car insurance company. They will definitely get my service if necessary from here on out, and I will never fail to recommend this company to my friends and family.
Being from out of town and a young woman I tend to be skeptical of handling things such as car problems on my own. I had nothing but a positive experience. They towed me immediately and gave me a diagnostic but due to it being a Friday they weren't able to start my car until the next week. They communicated with me even while I was in a different state and had me back on the road as soon possible. They also gave me a huge break on an unexpected problem with my car. They have built my trust and my loyal business!
These guys are AWESOME! they have always done quality work on my vehicles at a very fair price. I have never had to bring anything back because the problem was fixed right the first time, and I really appreciate the job they do.
If you need your car fixed within the span of 2 WEEKS never bring your car here. My car sat at their shop for two days last week. They said they'd call with an estimate... Never did. When we called to find out the estimate, they didn't even have one ready because they hadn't even touched the car yet! They told us to bring it back this week. We call before bringing it this morning and we are told that there's "too much going on" for them to look at my car. They need to learn to prioritize their customers or they need to hire extra help! Never taking my car here again.
I love these guys. They do excellent work for the best price in town. They're honest, no up-selling, no BS. My fiancé and I have been going here for years, always a great experience.
I'm noticing most of these negative reviews are from people who were illegally parked and therefore towed... Which would be an issue to take up with the city or property management, not these guys just doing their job.
