This towing company appears to rely on aggressive and predatory enforcement practices, particularly in areas heavily populated by college students. Vehicles are frequently towed with unclear, poorly placed, or inconsistently enforced signage, often late at night or during times when offices are closed and disputes cannot be resolved.
In my case, the tow occurred despite reasonable attempts to comply with posted parking rules. When questioned, staff were dismissive and unable or unwilling to clearly explain the specific violation, which raises serious concerns about transparency and compliance with local towing ordinances.
I strongly encourage property managers, apartment complexes, and campus-adjacent landlords to carefully review whether this company’s practices align with their values and legal responsibilities. These kinds of experiences create significant reputational harm, generate formal complaints, and disproportionately impact students and low-income residents.
Based on the volume of similar reports from other students in the area, this does not appear to be an isolated incident but rather a pattern of behavior that warrants closer oversight by contracting entities and local authorities.
Also- was told it would be $250 cash, when I went to pick up the vehicle they said I had to pay $280. Pretty sure the dude just pocketed the additional $30.
If the staff being incredibly rude and apathetic wasn’t enough of a reason not to go here, then the predatory behavior should be. I made a mistake when paying for parking, I had a temporary plate and put the expiration date instead of the actual plate number. Regardless, I paid for my parking and was towed on this technicality. When bringing up the mistake with staff there was no attempt at compromise. When I came to pick up my car the employee treated me as if I was stupid and then demanded $250. He explained that other people had similar situations and they wouldn’t compromise for them either, as if that justified the price. There are horror stories from people in bad financial situations being unjustly towed and then screwed out of similar amounts of money. This is a group of people who do not care about helping you, they only care about being paid. The rates are extortionate and the cash payment only makes the place seem extremely suspicious and, quite frankly, like they have something to hide. If you are looking to get a tow or recover equipment, please choose someone else. If you are a property that tows for illegal parking, please choose someone else. I cannot explain how demotivating it is to know that there are places of business that take advantage of people like g-vegas towing.
Stewart was a blessing! He was willing to drive in the snow just to pull me out and continued to pull me each time I got stuck! Plus, it didn't cost an arm and a leg! I cant thank him enough!
If I could give a towing company zero stars I would. I was visiting a friend to drop something off for not even 5 minutes when I look out the window and my car was being towed so I ran downstairs to pay the drop payment and he told me it would $109 flat to drop it right now right here and i went to grab the money inside and by the time I came back he was gone. I went to the tow yard and confronted him about doing that. He proceeded to say he didn’t say that and that it will now be 185 and he couldn’t even look me in the face because he knew he was lying. Do better G-vegas towing. If you’re going to tow someone atleast don’t lie about a price and than drive off.

Had a flat tire, no spare. Mark W came out, he was very friendly and explained as he was loading the car. everthing was done quickly and efficiently. All round pleasant interaction.
Mater went above and beyond for us. After a traumatic accident, they were called to haul my vehicle and I was worried I wasn't going to be able to get some Christmas gifts out of the trunk. The first time I went out to get my things was the day before Thanksgiving and I was unable to access my trunk. Mater agreed to meet at a later date ON HIS DAY OFF and put in the extra work to make sure I could get what I needed out of the car! I would have never expected such stand-up service from a tow company, especially so close to a holiday! Thank you, Mater!
Marquez with G-Vegas Towing was wonderful! He was very personable, knowledgeable and professional. He made a stressful situation much easier. Towing a Tesla needs to be done differently that most other vehicle so as not to damage the batteries or other functions of the vehicle and he knew exactly what to do. Highly recommend!
My experience with them has been amazing! I had a situation where my car just stopped working on me and I needed it towed back home and my tow driver Brandon was so amazing to work with! After the stressful morning, having some polite services just helped eased my nerves a little. And the price was so reasonable!
Arrrived about 30 mins from time of call after another towing company ghosted me. G-Vegas even got the problem diagnosed before I even got it towed to the auto shop. Very cheap, very fast.
This is the second time I have used the services of G-Vegas towing. First time I gave them short notice to pick up a classic car and bring to my house. Not only did they respond promptly, but the price was fair and the driver was professional. Yesterday, again on short notice, they picked up a vehicle of mine that was disabled a distance away. They were on time, transported the vehicle undamaged and again the driver was professional and polite and did it on a tight schedule. Job well done!
My sister-in-law was in town to visit her son and had a rapid deflation of a tire. G-Vegas showed up quickly and were extremely helpful & friendly. Highly recommend these guys. Stuart, greatly appreciate you taking care of her.
I wish i would give zero stars, this place is absolutely horrible and the people who work here are even worse. To start the guy was physical and upset from the start. License plate pictured. The bald shorter African American was the guy. His partner was just doing his job and trying to help. The first guy was not having a good day, obviously. Super physical to everyone trying to say we would pay the drop price in cash then and there. He wouldn’t let us. He got more upset throughout our conversation. Also charged us $80 more than the other car they towed right after our car. Very unacceptable and unprofessional, especially from greenville resident.
One of the employees got into my face and punched me in the face and towed my friend’s 100k Mercedes AMG for no reason. Towed the car incorrectly and possibly damaged the vehicle. When we arrived to pick it up we paid about $75 more than another person just because it was a Mercedes Benz. Here’s his license plate
Towed a 98k amg wrong I was very normal with them they charged me 75$ more than the other guy because I had a Mercedes it’s screwed up will be going to leith in Raleigh and using Russel dement messed with the wrong guy
G-Vegas Towing illegally towed my car from an apartment building when I was there visiting a friend. I was in the guest parking spot for the correct apartment number. They demanded 185 in cash payment to get my car back, no other method of payment accepted, and acted like thugs about it. They should go out of business. I've used them in the past when I needed a tow for a broken down car but never will again.
I have to say they are very fair and I appreciate their service. They were quick to my location and the driver was extremely professionally! I'm not sure why they have less than five stars because my experience was a five-star experience.
I would give this place ZERO stars rating. They deserve no stars at all!!!! They should really go out of business!!!! The greed of this company is outrageous!!!! They tow your vehicle even if you have a valid permit on your dashboard. They just look at times for parking and tow your vehicle without confirming the permit. Outrageous!!!!! Just to make a quick buck at people's sadness. Plus, when you call them to let them know you are there for your vehicle, they send your calls to voicemail. Voicemail!!!! What a pleasant experience. 35 ft Fifth wheel tied to a Ford f-350 on the way to Maine. Radiator blew on 264 just outside of Greenville NC. One call to US Rider...and location defined...in just less than 30 minutes later first truck arrives and 20 minute later 2nd truck. Transferred trucks to the fifth wheel seamlessly and had the f-350 hooked up and we were out a there in 15 minutes riding in the in a very comfortable truck with the f-350 in tow. Not sure how anyone could complain about this company though I saw a lot of disgruntled comments from persons that were towed because they parked in illegal manners and got towed...What did they expect? Thus the 2.9 rating from Google reviews. Anyway ignore the 2.9 and read through the reviews and get the real story...these guys should have a 5. I have had many successful businesses over the last 50 years and my formula is the same as theirs. Run decent equipment, be 24/7, treat the customer and the your employees well, employees are trained and equipped your properly, be supportive, be well prepared for anything and treat your clients as they would like them to treat you. These guys do everything well.

Steward and his towing company us predatory tactics to tow ecu students and charge them what ever they want. Got towed 1 day it was 185 after I talked him down from 225 and got towed another day it was 250. Horrible ethics herr.
Gvegas towed my car last night and wasn’t even supposed to tow for this apartment complex anymore. Had to bring my car back due to illegal towing. Predator towing business. Told the rental office what happened they were pissed!! And callled corporate Make sure they are assigned to your apartment complex before paying anything to recover. I wouldn’t even give them 1 star but it would let me post.
These people just harassed my family on 4th of July. We just went to see fireworks with our children, and my husband parked near one of their tow trucks. The guy was next to the tow truck with presumably his whole family and was obviously not working, and told my husband not to park near him, and my husband said "is there a problem? You have room to get out" (which he did) and the man said he would tow him even though he had plenty of room to get out. My husband moved our car and we reported them to the police for harassment. They were also unlawfully parked, but because he was driving a tow truck, he thought he could bend the rules.
A company should not be using their equipment and towing status to break the law and then harass people for no reason. The way he talked to my husband was extremely aggressive too for no reason. We were not rude to him at all and did not engage, just moved the car and reported him to the police. Would not give money to a company that thinks this is appropriate behavior.
My man Clint came in clutch for us. My wife was dealing with a flat tire, and he responded very quickly. He was professional, friendly, and fast. He got us quickly to where we needed to go for a tire repair. I'll definitely use this towing company in the future when feasible.
The 105 Howitzer that sits out in front of the VFW post in Greenville was in need of professional paint, since it had been sitting for 23 years in the same spot we knew just towing it was out of the question. We contacted G-Vegas towing and they assured us they could safely move it for us. They arrived with the rollback and had it loaded in almost no time and dropped it off at the paint shop. A month later they came back and loaded it for the ride back, they were very professional and extremely knowledgeable on how to secure the cannon to ensure a safe ride back and not scratch or leave marks on the new paint job. Very friendly and professional staff. Can’t thank them enough for the assistance in getting the restoration completed.
Used these guys 3 times now and they always deliver great customer service and mannerism. One time was a lock out while wife and I were out to dinner followed by removal of a abandoned vehicle from my place of business and now this. Brandon is always a pleasure to deal with and always arrives in a timely manner
