This is a no-frills place to drop off your metal. I dropped off 200 pounds of metal from my winter automotive projects. Today’s rates got me $13. Not bad considering the alternative is taking it to the county station .5 miles away for $0.
I hated to do it to the guys, but, I was pretty late today and showed up with a full truck and trailer.....the fellas helped and didn't give me too much guff....I'm grateful for them. Thanks again guys! I will try and be earlier from now on!
This place is usually a really decent place to come. But here recently they have been closing early with no warning or anything of that nature. Their closing time is 6pm and I got there at 5:45 and they were closed after I had called to make sure they would still be open
Very unprofessional! I called just a few minutes ago to get a price on scrap aluminum. When the man answered the phone I said "Hello, who am I speaking with?". He said why do you need to know who you are speaking with? Very sarcastic & rude. I like to know who I am speaking with. He couldn't give me a price, said they don't do that, my mind was made up I wouldn't do business with this man! When you run or represent a business, you have to be professional, this man was lacking all the key traits of customer service!
