My car was towed because someone hit my car while I was parked when I get my car back my Bluetooth Transmitter is missing my charger as well as my Car has been completely gone through. They took whatever they wanted they moved my car mats around and went through everything they possibly could very unprofessional.
Had a car wreck and Hamptons went out of their way to work with me with the cost of the tow and cost of my vehicle being in their lot. Great honest people who care about their customers. If you ever need a wrecker service choose hamptons they will not disappoint.
I am responding to the post by Randy. What this towing company didn’t know is I was with him when he called needing a tow. His towing company carrier was negligent and called for a jump off when Randy had requested a tow. Even was sending the tow driver to his home not to where we were stranded. And then they cancelled altogether! So to say Randy was upset is true, but he did not cuss anyone at this company or his carrier! He called the tow truck driver and requested him to come pick him up any way. The tow truck driver then gave him a number to call which is supposed to be dispatch. He called and a woman answered. He told her that his towing company carrier had been canceled and that he want them to come pick the motorcycle up anyway! The lady on the phone kept asking how he got that number, and he kept telling her that her tow truck driver gave it to him. He was frustrated and stated a couple times to the lady, “Can you send them to pick me up, I have my credit card right here in my hand!” She kept asking how he got the number and why did it get canceled. So in his frustration he said, “ Are you sending someone to pick me up ? Randy is a diabetic and I am a severe asthmatic, so we can’t stay here waiting on the carrier to fix this for three days! (Needed our medications) Are you sending someone or do I need to call someone else?” The lady told him to call someone else. Randy told her”okay”! And hung up. (If he was cussing her he would not of just hung up)!! A gentleman ended up hearing the conversation because we were in the store sitting at a table. We decided to go outside and sit to keep an eye on the motorcycle, and call someone else to tow us. That same gentleman came up and told us not to call a tow truck he has a trailer and would be happy to tow us home. He not only towed us home, but refused to take any money. This gentleman was a blessing, and we are thankful for him!!! I say all this to say, you should not call a person a coward, accuse them of cussing you out when they have multiple witnesses to the fact that they didn’t! So if you need a tow, call someone that cares about your situation!!! And wants to see you make it home safely!!! And you don’t answer your personal phone————towing services, you let them leave a message, if your tow truck driver gave out the wrong number, and advise him of the correct number!! Call around because there are more tow truck companies out there that want to see you home with your family!!!
I called for a wrecker because I broke down. I told them I had my debit/ visa card and I would pay them. They told me to call someone else. This is very unprofessional.i did offer to pay. Thierry reply is a total lie. I was not irate. They are liers.i did not cuss or talk down to anyone. She was more concerned about how I got her phone number than anything else. Do not do business with these people. I am not a coward or a lier. They are. Thierry driver gave me the number and told me to call her. I don't even know them at all. I was just trying to get a tow. That's all. Again, don't deal with these people. I am contacting the Better Business Bureau about thier actions. They could seem to care less that I was stranded on the side of the road, they just wanted to play games. I thought they were in the towing business. This is not my first dealings with them either. They pulled my truck 10 feet and charged me 100 dollars. They didn't give me time to release the parking brake or put the truck in neutral. They just drug it for no reason. Very unprofessional to say the least.
It’s the morning of Mother’s Day. Son caught a flat on his way home from visiting me. My son and I are melanated folk. I’m always concerned about my sons on the road. My son called some tow service. After 2 hours of waiting, he called the police. They recommended Hamptons. They came out in a timely manner and took good care of getting my son and his truck home. Thank you guys. God Bless.
Absolutely the best service I have ever had from a towing company my driver was super fast and really helpful and chill he had us off the side of the road and at the Ram dealer in under a hour
Called Hamptons towing on a Thursday at around 4pm, showed up 20min later to load my car up and take to the dealer. Great service and tow truck operator was professional.
Very nice people and helped me out with my problem with my car it was just a simple fix and the tow truck driver was really nice and I would use them again...
Called ahead to schedule pick up time, opting to pay on-site and file a claim with insurance.
Arrived in a timely manner. The driver was friendly, knowledge and worked quickly. He made sure I was aware that I could file with insurance, thoughtful.

Best towing service I’ve ever seen. Seth was great. Got to me in less than an hour and to the shop even quicker than that, it seems. Because of his tremendous (but thoroughly safe) hustle, the financial damage was nowhere near as bad as I anticipated. So thanks a bunch!!!
I miss Lineberger's, but Hamptons did an OK job taking care of my vehicle and talking with me. I didn't like that one tow truck came out just to move my car somewhere else so that another truck could then come and actually tow it. The first truck had to go pick up another car. I honestly felt like that truck should've completed my tow job first or the other truck could've gone to the job the first one left to do. It made no sense to me at all. I did end up having to call the office because it took such a long time for anyone else to show up. I ended up spending more time out there than I should have. Otherwise, it was a pretty decent service.
Seth was amazing! The other company we hired cancelled 15 minutes before they were supposed to arrive to move our toolboxes. Seth made it over by noon and got the job done with no issues. Highly recommend this company. And, Seth was about half the cost of the no-show company.
Best price in town! The service was awesome and both the call center and the truck driver were super friendly and answered all my questions. They even worked with me so that I did not have to meet them at the vehicle. I'll use these guys again if I ever need something towed.
Kyle tow truck driver from Hamptons/ lineburgers wrecker service was very polite helpful and even though my motorcycle was very damaged and he still took it to heart towed my bike to the wrecker yard safely without putting another scratch on it and even stored it in the building out of the element's of the weather to me he went far and beyond what he needed or had to do but I greatly appreciate it he took time and talk to me and educated me on the process that I needed to do and if I ever need a tow again you can believe they will be the first ones I call and would highly recommend them to anyone that's why I gave them five stars but would more gladly give them 5 more stars. When road debris takes not 1 but 2 tires at 11pm on a Sunday 130 miles from home. Hamptons answered the phone with a sleepy smile and said We got you. And they did, car picked up and delivered to body shop within a few hours. Totally recommend them. Simple and affordable
Got a flat tire on the interstate and after no other tow truck services would show up after almost 2 hours, our insurance company called Hamptons. The driver was super friendly and showed up in less than 20 minutes. He was quick and helpful and I got back on the road in less than 5 minutes. Thanks again.
After my insurance company screwed up location info, and I sat in the side of the road for 3 hrs, I called these guys. They had a driver out 20 mins before ETA, super fast response time, driver was professional, got me loaded up quick. They also keep their interiors nice and clean for customers as well. 5 stars.
Very rude and unprofessional driver, there seems to be a pattern here with the other reviews I just read. Had a terrible experience. If these guys hate their jobs and dealing with the public so bad maybe it’s time for a change of careers. The last thing someone needing help needs is a driver with an attitude. Update: the owners response is typical, blame the customer, sorry but I didn’t give your employee any attitude, he arrived and I said hello and he started complaining about the job he was facing, he didn’t even greet me. You are a real piece of work blaming the customers for your employees bad attitudes, it’s very obvious where the get it from.
My husband and I broke down on a Sunday and needed a roll back for our vehicle to be towed to our home. We called Hampton’s and a lady answered the phone with an attitude. She was rude from beginning to end of our transaction. I asked her how much a tow would be (approx. 6.5 mi) and she responded with “One and a quarter” ($125) This seemed steep as we had already had a vehicle towed on a rollback with Lineberger’s recently for $90 at a distance that was much further away, but I figured since it was a Sunday, Linebergers wasn’t available, this was my only option. We request the tow & 30 minutes later our vehicle miraculously starts running again. Since I’m pregnant & freezing on the side of the road we decide to chance it and try to drive back home as she couldn’t provide an estimated time as to when our driver would arrive. I call back. Cancel the tow. Of course, the car stops again when we are less than 2 miles from our house. I call back & request the tow again. She scoffs on the phone and says “You people need to stay put. Are you actually going to be there when we come out?” Lady... Did you think I WANTED to be in this situation? That we just had a random $125 during the holidays to waste on a tow? Anyway, the guy comes, tows us back home, and we pay him using a debit card. The next day I see that I was charged $130 (not $125) for a tow that was exactly 1.3 miles from my house. They picked us up exactly 3.2 miles from Hampton’s 150 location. I’d rather push a car back home than call Hampton’s again.
I called for a quote on a tow. I usually use them, but for the price quoted based on how far from home I was, I found a price that fit my budget a little better. I use hamptons when I can. They're a great company and do a great job.
Broke down on 85 at 2am pulling a horse trailer. They picked up the truck, the trailer, the horses and me! Great service for a great price! If you break down at 2am call Hamptons and ask for Seth. Great guy and always available.
These guys were great. I called them and within a hour Josh came out to help tow one of our cars. Very professional and everything was done in a timely manner. I would highly recommend them!
