I found him on Google Maps and took a chance. I a car guy and changing a wheel bearing is not a hard job and not “easy”. He showed up, knocked it out in about an hour and cleaned up. Test drive was perfect after. Everything seems good to go now and the car is road safe again. This saved me having to do this after hours so well worth the expense and his labor was fair given he drove to me. I will call again if it’s outside of my comfort zone.

I love this guy does awesome work. I have had multiple things worked on my car from small to large jobs , and he gets it done very professional and reasonable pricing.

I have to give a huge shot out to this company. I was in Durham at a hotel on a weekend work assignment. My vehicle started acting up that prevented me from traveling back home. My alternator needed to be replaced. It was Sunday evening and I was in complete pain mode , however I called Horus Mobile Mechanics, he told me where to order the part and he would pick it up. He came to my hotel the next morning, fixed my vehicle onsite and had me on the road within 2 hours. I traveled back home without any problems. Thank you for your immediate attention and reasonable price. You were definitely a blessing away from home.

Woke up to a dead car battery on a Sunday morning, Horus had my car back up an running from first contact to completion in under 2 hours. They picked up a battery I purchased online from a nearby shop, picked it up and had it installed. Fantastic work, was very thankful for being open on a Sunday.

I had my battery light come on when driving home from work.I stopped by auto zone and they diagnosed alternator failure.I purchased a new alternator, came home and called Horus automotive and was told that a technician could come to my workplace at 1pm the next day. He arrived before 1pm ,confirmed the problem and replaced the alternator for the quoted price. I would strongly recommend this business. I give them a five star rating.

He is awesome at what he does. He not only explains what’s wrong but actually physically shows you and keeps you involved through the entire process. Hands down awesome.

Excellent Service! Do not hesitate to call them for service. They exceeded every expectation I could have hoped for, and I can’t thank them enough. Being new to the area I was wary of contracting with a vendor I did not meet with personally beforehand. Don’t let that hold you back. My car broke down and Mohamed came right to my location and immediately put me at ease with the utmost professionalism, knowledge and warmth. Once under the hood I was amazed at how quickly he diagnosed the issue. He took the time to thoroughly explain the issue to me, breaking it down effectively in a way that I could follow. I greatly appreciated how the explanation included actually showing me the problem, and effectively demonstrating the fix and other options to consider. I’ve never felt so empowered in making a decision about a car repair before! I also appreciated that he provided options on part sourcing, giving me the power to make a decision on price/timing that worked for my budget and priorities. I wasn’t forced into any prescribed path forward and I really appreciate that it was very much a process I was in control of, instead of just being along for the ride and blindly obligated to participate in. I was in a real jam with my car. Mohamed worked until it was dark to get me back on the road safely. I genuinely cannot thank him enough for taking this scary car problem and turning it into a painless experience. (And even showing me things I didn’t know about my car!) I don’t live anywhere near Durham, but next time I’m passing through the area I absolutely am calling Mohamed at Horus Mobile Mechanics to make an appointment for a check up. This guy is a scam. I just got my car seen by a real mechanic. I need spark plug replacements and this guy moved the bad spark plug to a different spot and told me it was ok to drive for a day or two. Well apparently that would have been bad. This guy also quoted me one price but said a higher price later. I basicly pre-paid this man a lot of money to almost mess my car up. DONT CHOOSE THIS GUY

WARNING! For anybody who sees this, he doesn't have an adequate payment system. It's only cash app that he requires for the diagnostic as well as labor. I scheduled a meeting at 10am today. He was adamant that HE WANTS YOU TO PREPAY FOR THE LABOR BEFORE HE EVEN SHOWS UP. He wanted me to cash app him $500. I told him I would pay once the labor was completed and satisfied .He just kept reiterating $500. He never came out for the appt we scheduled this past Monday which confirms my belief he would have just stolen the money. Very much a scammer if you're not careful. He wouldn't agree to have a contract signed. Most, if not all, conversations he wants conducted via text. You can't really have an honest and true conversation with him. BE CAREFUL EVERYONE!. As you see in response below, it says all you need to know about his level of unprofessionalism and immaturity. A scammer at best. EVERYONE PLEASE REFRAIN FROM THIS GUY. As you see from his responses, tells you everything you need to know. His cognitive ability doesn't allow him to understand that typically labor is completed prior to any payment. Also having a valid payment system and contracts. He was too scared to come out and sign the contract I generated out of fear he didn't want to be held legally responsible. He went AWOL. Other true professional sources would confirm this. Business will surely be reported :-) In terms of any "Terms and Agreement", my wife has text messages where he just kept asking to Cashapp money. No professional paperwork was ever sent. Please don't let this guy fool you. The only reason I went to him was because he was the only option available at the time. Otherwise I would have chose someone different Just for all the future reviewers. This review is not misleading. The prepaid he is talking about is through a Cashapp which in traditional circumstances, qualified shops and/or mechanics would make sure the labor is done prior to any payment. The concern with this is if you pay him prior to any labor especially through a Cashapp and no contract involved, you are trusting that he will actually do the job. He can opt not to show up and now you are out $500. I got messages of me asking for he to sign a contract. He denied. In addition to this, he told me he would not sign a contract. PLEASE EVERYBODY, with this crook, please make sure you get him to sign a contract. If he chooses not to which he will, please find another place to provide service. What

The services Horus Mobile Mechanics provided are definitely outstanding with no doubt! At first, I was hesitant to pay prior to the services being performed. However, Mohamed showed up on time in full gear! He goes above and beyond to ensure your concerns are being addressed properly. He is efficient and honest in his business. I give two stars because the mechanic was friendly when giving the service and had a good attitude, but I unfortunately the service given was bad and made my vehicle worse. I messaged him telling him I needed the coolant and thermostat replaced. He said he could do it, and I trusted he had the right tools. First of all, he flushed the toxic coolant in the public parking of my apartment instead of bringing the proper container… then he didn’t do a full flush, I asked him why half the coolant was left over and he confessed he didn’t have the proper tools. The next day after driving it a many lights when on, when I message him he said to take to somewhere else… so I lost several hundred dollars because he said he could do the job and then after he does it I find out he doesn’t have the proper tools… I take my car to the dealer, looks like he didn’t flush out the air… hence why it didn’t take all the coolant… and that messes up the thermostat and everything has to be redone… very disappointed…

Horse showed up to do the lower control arms on my car and was prompt knowledgeable and friendly. The job was done correctly and within a reasonable amount of time. I gave him a tip for the good work. His prices are very reasonable much cheaper than the dealershipdon’t hesitate to call him for your auto maintenance needs.

He was very rude and unprofessional. I was asking him what time he can come and that the vehicle is a work vehicle and it is urgent and all he responded with was” do you need the service” over and over. And then hung up on me. I would not recommend. There are much more professional and knowledgeable mobile mechanics around. EDIT: Based on the name the name I asked if he was from the same country I am, just trying to be nice is all and make conversation. And he had these remarks to say. He could have made some good business if he wasn’t so arrogant and stuck up. I have shared the messages between us.

The sweetest man ever!!!! So very polite. He had us back and going in no time. Had all of the necessary tools to get the tire fixed. Highly recommend!!

I called this morning first thing to have my camshaft position sensor put in my 2001 Honda civic because my car got to the point it wasn't going anywhere. I couldn't find anyone else to replace the part immediately except Horus. He came immediately to my house and took the time to replace the part in the 20-degree weather. He was a wonderful gentleman. Let me be by his side while he changed it. He kept apology to me because he thought it took him longer than excepted, and he did it within an hour/ hour in half. He let me test drive my car to make sure everything worked. I truly recommend him working on other cars and will be in touch if I ever need something else replaced. I will be sure to suggest him to other people if they can't find anyone. He is affordable and a wonderful, caring gentleman.

The service provided by Horus Mobile Mechanic is solid. Mohamed is an excellent mechanic who clearly loves what he does, and his customer-friendly attitude stands out. He replaced both front control arms and all four brakes and rotors on my 2014 Infiniti QX60 for a reasonable price. Not only was the price reasonable, but the quality of the work was also to my satisfaction. However, one thing I did notice was that he didn’t take time to perform a test drive after completing the replacements, especially considering the safety and importance of components like brakes. This step is crucial to ensure the vehicle is safe to drive after such significant work. Man, Mohamed is the goat! My 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 was in bad shape—needed new wheel hub assemblies on both the front driver and passenger sides, plus lower control arms. Mohamed pulled through and got it all fixed up at a price that didn't break the bank. He was chill, knew his stuff, and made sure my truck was running smooth before he left. Highly recommend him if you need a mechanic!

I have had Mohamed service my 2015 MDX for a couple of times now. Over time, I had him replace the struts, brakes, one CV joint, control arm, and tie rods. He has done a great job. I intend to keep my MDX. I will definitely continue to use his services.
