We started taking our vehicles to Billy's a few years ago and wish we had started going sooner. Always reasonable prices and great service.

Wanted to give a shout out to Jim and crew at Billy's! Had a heater hose let go on our 3500HD on our vacation. They had us in and out in a day and we are ready to get back on the road! Great, friendly service and highly recommend!

Twice I have tried to use this shop, after making an appointment 2 weeks out my tow truck driver gets turned away with my disabled vehicle on back. They will not even keep my vehicle on premise until they can work on it. They may be good mechanics but I'll never know. I just know they don't honor their appointment dates since this has happened twice in 12 months to me.

Great people, Great service, ordered my Interstate HD batteries easy peasy, and as usual Billy hooked me up!!!

I liked this place and the guys were really nice, only bad thing is you have to wait weeks to get them to work on your car,which is not so bad if you have two cars, but we only have one,so that wasn't good for us.

Huge thank you, full of respect for Tim and the hardworking team for taking good care of me. I'll see you soon with my new whip for a thumbs up approval and regular maintenance. 💪😘

Good team of guys there I only for annual inspection on my two cars. They were quick and attentive. I will definitely go back when I need something done.

Very friendly , was visiting had an emergency on a not so convenient time and was able to get help when needed and made sure we were comfortable when the repair was done. Pricing was fair and transparent !!

Nice local mechanic shop. They're polite, courteous, and get you going fast. This isn't a place for that big business dealership experience that feels like they don't need you. Here you'll find a welcoming atmosphere where they don't mind you walking right in the shop. That's the kind of place I like! Not trying to hide anything, they ask you to come right in! This is my kind of shop.

We were on vacation and had a issue with our car everywhere we called could not help us until the day we were supposed to leave! We live all the way in New Hampshire and couldn't chance breaking down on the way home! We stopped by this shop and they helped us right away great customer service and very friendly and just seemed like they actually cared! You don't see to many places like that anymore. Definitely see these guys if you want exceptional service at a great price too! Thank you so much for helping us out with no hesitation we really appreciate it!

Truck starter went while on vacation which was the week of Thanksgiving. Billy's was the fourth number I tried since the first three were closed or couldn't fit us in. Once towed to their shop on Monday afternoon, they correctly diagnosed the issue, ordered a hard to find part, did a difficult fix and it was ready Wednesday afternoon. All this for a fair price. We had use of a vehicle for the last couple days of vacation and didn't have to find alternate plans to get home while we waited for it to get fixed. Also very friendly folks. God forbid your car breaks down on vacation, but if it does, I'd highly recommend Billy's.

I brought a truck in that’s been sitting 3 years. Asked them to get it working right.... they put new everything on it first, had it 5 weeks and it still doesn’t run right. I just feel like they took advantage of the situation and didn’t focus on making sure it ran right before they hiked the bill up $2000... it’s still not drivable so all those new parts are just sitting on it now! I’m just very upset about this. Not very good at communicating with us either. 5 weeks and it still doesn’t run! But I had a bill of 2300.

They always treat us well and get us out as cheaply as possible. Friendly service and reliable quality. My whole family brings their cars here now.

They gave me a fair deal on my wife's import car brakes when the dealership wanted entirely too much. Billy was referred to me as being great with all European imports and has done great for me each time since.

The only place I'll ever go! I trust Billy with all of my vehicles and he's always able to get me in on short notice when I'm having car troubles. I go for the excellent service and stay for the shop dog! He's always ready to welcome all customers with a bark and a wag! Makes the place feel like home.

Just moved to KDH and heard about Billy’s. He and Meagan got my wife's jeep right in, they were fast and good. Very straight forward and professional. I have found my new mechanic.

Since I moved to the Outer Banks from Southern California at the end of 2015, I've used Billy's for all of my auto repair needs. Whether it's a check engine light, brake problems or just an annual inspection. WAY honest, reasonably priced, and generally, just good guys. You get personalized service and if something isn't quite right, (which in my case has been rare, but stuff happens), they go the extra mile to make it right. They were recommended to me by regular customer and I'm just paying it forward. Thanks to Billy, Kenny and the rest of the crew for making me feel at home when I get there.

Billy is absolutely amazing!! I had just gotten into Nags Head when I decovered I had no brakes at all. I called down and he said to have it towed there. Within a few hours he had fixed the problem and charged very little. Knowing I was out of state on vacation he could have charged any amount but being the trustworthy and good guy he is he probably charged me too little. His shop closed at 6 pm but at 7:30 he was still there trying to fix people's cars bc he knew they were on vacation. I highly recommend him and if I ever have an issue again down there he will be the only person I ever go to. Thanks again Billy for the fast, reasonable rates, and hard work that you do Day in and day out. I appreciate you!!

Car had a warning light flashing down in nags head on vacation. Had to get it diagnosed and addressed before driving back to PA. Friendly, accommodating, all that stuff. But lets get down to it. Tourist area, must get repaired. They did NOT rip us off. No parts were needed. They charged us for labor and sent us on our way. They are that rare and mythical creature, the honest mechanic. Thanks Billy and Ken.

Tim helped figure out a mystery tire leak on my car. He was wonderful, knowledgeable and understood that I was only at the Outer Banks for a short visit. I highly recommend Billy's Truck and Auto for service you can trust!

Billy is an amazing mechanic as well as all the guys that work for him. Most importantly he is honest and trustworthy. I have been going to his shop for years and he is always straight up with me. Grateful to have someone who does good work and you can trust on the beach.

Hit town on a Friday evening with major truck issues - can't say enough about how knowledgeable and nice Tim was to us. He fixed our truck - and did I mention it had major issues - and when it was all said and done we felt like we had made a friend. I wish these guys were in our hometown! Highly recommend this shop.

Check engine light came on late Friday afternoon on 4th of July holiday weekend. Took us right away, ran and picked up the part from the chevy dealer and had us fixed and out the door within 2 hours from start to finish. And did I mention the price???? No extra charge for last minute work. Honest and dependable work.They rock at Billy's.
