Douglas and Daniel gave outstanding service when I stopped in, in the rain to have my wipers replaced. They were fast and efficient and the price was very reasonable.
If you had 10 stars I would give it to Daniel at the store in Kill Devil Hills, NC. He went above and beyond to get my rear wiper blade changed. He was amazing and so persistent and he succeeded in getting the job done. Thank you so very much.

Do yourself a favor and go to any other parts store in the area. The employee who I spoke to just kept pulling up random parts and staring at me blankly, THEN input my vehicle info (which I had already stated at the start of our interaction) and continued to just stare at me when I repeatedly said the part he pulled up wasn’t the correct one. It’s a difficult to locate piece but he made zero effort to actually help me find it.
I just went in to exchange an alternator that I believed was failing, but was still under warranty. Two gentlemen assisted me. They tested it, said it was good, but agreed it was making a bit of noise and because it was still under warranty, I could change it out, so I did. On my way home, I got a call from my mechanic that he had misdiagnosed and it was not the alternator. I turned around, went back to the store to give them the new one back, but they were kind enough to let me keep it since the other one was making noise. They were both very knowledgeable and helpful. Thanks for the quality customer service. 👍👍
Terrible customer service. Was on hold for up to 20 mins ended up hanging up called back. Doug(I believe his name was) told me to hang on he had something to do, the. The phone hung up. Called back spoke to the floor manager and he just made some excuses and the. He told me to call back didn't even ask what I needed or why I called an auto part store. We ended up going to Elizabeth City
An almost perfect vacation ended with a dead battery! I was astounded that my 2017 GMC Sierra 1500 had the ORIGINAL battery still! No wonder it had decided it was done working! Brother in law jumped us so we could head a few blocks away to this Auto Zone. So fortunate that they were super friendly, had the battery I needed, installed it without delay, and I was on my way back to Raleigh. Thank you to the guy that made the end of our vacation as wonderful as the rest of the vacation!

Winston saves the day! 700+ miles from home, on a Sunday, in a rental car, and all gas stations air compressors out of service. Happened to call Auto Zone and Winston said he had a personal air compressor in his truck he would let us use. Top Notch Service!!
douglas absolutely killed it! after driving down for vacation and our battery dying, he helped from start to finish on our jeep (which had about 4 different type of bolts that had to come out). he did it in the heat and had a great attitude and humor the whole time!

After making extended eye contact with ab employee standing at the counter I finally asked if they could help me. He told me that he is helping someone else and waiting for them to return to the counter. Ok, I guess I should have known that while you stare at me. I walked away to check something and when I returned other people were waiting in line. I waited my turn while they were helped and another gentleman walked up behind me. After they were helped two ladies walked up and the manager immediately asked them if he can help them while I was still standing their waiting. I never go to this store unless i have too because there is always some issue with the customer service. Save yourself the trouble and visit another auto parts store with educated staff who is also courteous.
I have never been so insulted in my life!!! I stopped at this Auto Zone to get help with wiper blades for my daughter's SUV. Its pouring out and we're from out of town, with children. EVERY question I asked, the cashier literally laughed at me and was not helpful at all! I highly recommend going elsewhere! This doesn't even deserve a 1 star. Its May 9th 2025 8:00 pm.
Stopped by to see if they had my battery, they did and then installed it! Whole process took 10 minutes. My battery was in my trunk and that would have taken me 25 minutes to swap. Thanks for making it easy! Very friendly too. Great experience. Thank you!
This AutoZone is excellent. Tammy and John were incredibly helpful when I came in with a battery issue while visiting from out of town. John did the battery scan and helped me understand the implications. All free of charge. I am grateful that businesses like this still exist! I will definitely be back. Thank you!

I needed to replace my back wiper blade and was having a very difficult time trying to get it off my SUV. From all of the years living at the beach, there was some built-up erosion. I was terrified that I was going to crack the window trying to get it off. I drove up to AutoZone here in kill Devil Hills where I live and Winston one of the guys that work there was so kind and came out and he looked at it for me. He took 10 minutes with some trial and error to see the best way to get it off and he was able to help me not only get off the old one, but he actually put the new one on for me. I can’t thank him enough. Every time I have had any type of issue, they have always been so kind and personable. If they couldn’t find out how to help me, they always found someone that could. What I love most about coming here is that no one ever makes me feel stupid. Some places treat women like they are stupid and do not know anything. Auto Zone KDH definitely has never made me feel that way.

We are vacationing and realized our battery is dying. Stopped at the AutoZone and Dustin M took care of us 100%! Replaced the battery with our new one and was very kind while helping us old folks out ❤️ Good customer service is so hard to find but he rocked it!
