Awesome auto parts store experience with exceptional service. Came in for just 5qts of oil and filter, left with a free fuel additive that i was not aware was part of the deal for $30.

Bob and his team took excellent care of me when I was having car battery issues. Bob was very polite, transparent, and installed the battery himself. I'd recommend this team to anyone.
My experience has been mostly fine, but my main complaint is that there have been multiple times where I've done an online order for pickup, I get an email telling me it's ready to pickup, and then when I get there they seem to have no idea what I'm talking about when I say I have an order to pickup and then I stand around waiting for them to get everything.
UPDATE: I left the review above while waiting for the employees to get me my order. I should have known better at the time, but I didn't audit the items they gave me. On the way home I received a voicemail that they did not give me everything, so I had to make another trip back.
Two days later after I finished the brake job, I attempted to return the tools I rented. I had the email for the online order I made. They entered the order number and found nothing. I ended up having to go into my Order History on the AutoZone website in order to find a transaction number so they could look up the order. This ended up taking nearly 20 minutes. For whatever reason, they did not have a record of this transaction and told me they did all they could, that they were the Sunday crew, and could I please come back tomorrow when someone who knows what they were doing will be working? Simply amazing. I don't think I'll be back unless they have something I can't get elsewhere.
The store manager was superb! I appreciated the kindness and he understood my circumstance. I will plan to visit the store in Black Mountain, NC again. The store was clean and presentable.

Just got back from this incredible store. What can I say? Bob Sutherland the manager came outside to put in an air filter for my SUV. He is the kind of person when you meet him, you already know that he has a passion for what he does. I can say from my experience that he genuinely cares for his customers. This kind of customer service can never be taught in a classroom, on a PowerPoint presentation, or watching YouTube videos. This type of customer service comes from the heart, and Mr. Sutherland exemplifies that. I have and always will remain a customer to AutoZone. Mr. Sutherland solidified my loyalty to the store brand with being a great guy who helps his customers. I would like AutoZone corporate to please recognize him for being the reason people want to shop there. I'm glad it's here. Autozone is my go to for automotive supplies. The staff is helpful, not pushy. I like that the sales are there at the store instead of the rebate coupon thing.

The staff went above & beyond to help us when we had car troubles while traveling. They made sure we found a safe hotel & set us up with a trustworthy mechanic. They showed us so much kindness and made a stressful situation much easier. I highly recommend their services.
Cannot say enough good things about our service here! Our alternator died as we were traveling through town. They went above and beyond. They guided us to a good,safe hotel nearby and even lined up a reliable mobile mechanic to put in the alternator the following morning. This level of service is so hard to find. Highly recommend this Auto zone.
