Staff is very professional and extremely knowledgeable. The girl with the pink mowhawk is the absolute best and goes above and beyond to help with whatever the situation is.
Always have the nicest people working in this store! I work just down the road from this location and although I don't normally need anything from there, when I do it's where I make sure to go. Good job guys!
Since taking over the store Greg and his team have done a super job. From customer service friendly, making my family feel like their family to knowledge about anything we have come in with to receive help about. Jonathan helped us this last time with questions about removing stains on the side of our camper. He found quality items at discounted prices. Way to go Greg and team! Keep up the great work.
Reliable. Just about any store that stocks decently is awesome to have around like the others. Always been treated right. Just bought a steering wheel cover and I couldn't get the stupid thing in so went back for a refund. The guy asked if he minded if he gave it a shot. Wow... Thanks for the extra effort and a lil sweat, it worked. Thank you. Rare to find people that offer extra help!

The folks here at the Black Mountain location were so kind- it can be uncomfortable and intimidating as a young woman to go into an auto parts shop & oftentimes be spoken down to. This was absolutely not the case - the two employees I spoke with (father and son, if I heard correctly!) were kind, informative, respectful, and patient with me in checking my purchases to ensure they were right for my vehicle. It felt good to have such a positive experience - thanks y’all!
Superior customer service. JR should be recognized by management for being an exceptional employee.
I stopped by a couple days ago and had a to get some air filters for my car.
I asked for JR to help me install the filters because I couldn't get the air filter to move.
He came out and it was like a TEDTALK on how to install the filters. He can actually teach a class!! This young man will not doubt go far in the company and beyond with true attention to detail and even asked me after teaching me, to please show someone else if they are in the same situation.

The. Black mountain location’s customer service has decreased a lot lately. They denied replacing a headlight bulb for me but auto zone had no problem doing it. No brainer Myself, family and friends will do our business with auto zone from now on. They have more stock and there stores are a lot nicer anyway. See ya
Today was the second time I’ve been to this location since moving to the area. On both trips, Jordan was the associate that helped me. He went above and beyond special ordering parts I needed. I’ve been to a few of the other auto parts stores just down the street, and this store has the best customer service by far.
Being a car enthusiast means investment. I come to this advance for all my needs from fuel additives, to interior/exterior cleaners. They have the best products for the best cars. Being a BMW guy, Liqui Moly is hard to come by, unless you want to order online, & wait for days for something shipped. Jordan hooked me up, & ordered me 10 bottles of my usual Injectron treatment for next day pickup, & I couldn’t be any more happier with the service. Jordan’s always took care of me when I’ve been in there as he comes across as a down to Earth individual, with the right around of energy/charisma. I highly recommend anyone reading this review to go here no matter your car needs!!!
My battery was not doing so good. Stopped in and Jordan laid knowledge on me that I didn't know existed about batteries!

Zack (Zach/Zak/Zac?) was awesome when we came in to get a new battery. Changed and installed the new battery themselves, no problem. Changing a battery is not difficult to do, but I appreciate the service. I know it’s something they offer when you buy a battery from AAP, but I can’t help but express gratitude. I offered to tip$, but he didn’t accept. I later learned they’re not supposed to accept tips, so I can only hope AAP is paying them well…… they’re stock sure has been doing well year-to-date, so I hope that fortune passes down to their employees in some way lol especially now a days when living wage at least $15-$17
I love if ur a lady how nice these guys are to help u figure out what car issues u are having. I appreciate it being a single woman because there are things we can't do or need taught how to do when it's out of our element lol. The customer service is amazing keep up the great work and all that y'all do for us gals out here.
If I don't know how too.... they do! That's what I like about a Advance Auto there very helpful and willing... bought windshield wipers and before I hade to ask they offered to install them.

Bought a battery 6 months ago, failed, left me stranded. Brought in to warrant replace..."sir your battery is fine." Now why would I bring in a battery for warranty if I didn't have a problem? It's like I have nothing better to do.
When I contested I was treated like I have no clue about cars. I have been in service and repair for 15 years. They have no clue!!
The guys here are great got me exactly what I needed in and out in no time even offered to install the battery for me pretty respectful group of guys I'm not sure the names wish I would have checked !
Everytime I have a question about maintaining my 2001 Toyota Camry, I go to Advance Auto Parts first for a neutral opinion. The employees there are always SO helpful. They empower me with knowledge every time, which means the world to me as a woman! I'd be surprised if their pay matched their knowledge and helpfulness, and I think that they should all get raises because they are amazing :)
I was waited on in a respectable time frame. The customer associates were very helpful, respectful, knowledgeable and their uniforms were clean. The store was clean and merchandise was easily accessible.
