I had an issue with my vehicle yesterday in the cold.. called to get a tow and they were super responsive. They arrived about 20 minutes after the call and were able to tow my vehicle where it needed to go! The pricing was beyond reasonable and I would highly recommend for any towing needs!
I foolishly took our car on a hurricane ravaged road to Mt. Mitchell with 4 bad tires. (Google supplied the GPS route). Needless to say, we blew a tire. AAA was called and never called back, so I called Asheville Recker Service based on reviews. Red was there within the hour, quickly had our Honda CRV on his truck, and had us at the tire place before they closed for the day. Red is a local treasure! 79 years old, full of entertaining local stories, and he’s been pulling people out of these hills for years. He made a bad situation enjoyable, and he was the highlight of our day trip. Prompt, professional service and reasonably priced. Put this company on your contact list!
My car broke down on the highway. I was able to get off the highway and reach the Firestone across the street. Unfortunately, they were not able to fix my car at that time, and I had to have it towed to the BMW in town. During this time of utter chaos/anxiety, and uncertainty, Asheville Recker Service Inc. and their staff made me feel relaxed and enjoy a situation nobody ever wants to deal with.
I can't recommend them enough. Everything was fantastic, and the staff are absolutely incredible.

I wasn’t really a customer. I just came to gather belongings from a car. My only complaint would be that it could use a sign to let folks know that they have arrived because it’s a little tricky finding the place. The nice man who opened the car for was very helpful.
Quick and efficient even though I was outside of Asheville on the freeway. Took me to a very reasonable tire repair shop, and I was done in 20 minutes with a new tire. Saved me a lot of money and time. Plus he’s a great person to spend time with! Used to take my car to his shop. Highly recommend Red.

We have used Asheville Recker Service a couple of times. They have always answered the phone and everyone from the office staff to the drives have been very professional. I would definitely use them again (although I hope to not have to).
Having one of the worst days i’ve had in recent memory.. even before the car trouble. just undeniably extremely horrible luck of a day. and then i’m doordashing and the customer gives me the wrong directions that lead me into a muddy field where my car slides into a bunch of farm equipment and gets stuck in the mud. I’ll try to spare all the details of my bad day.. but essentially bad part like 200 was when it was time to pay for the tow and i have like no signal out on this farm and my bank transfers are taking forever to go through. i’m sobbing because i just don’t know what to do. they gave me a discount so that i could afford to pay the guy and go home. i honestly sobbed just in gratitude for that. i was having the worst day ever literally and it was about continue with not even being able to pay the tow truck after he already saved me.the lady on the phone was so nice and understanding. i’m finally home safe and sound and it’s all thanks to Asheville Wreckers and their incredibly kind and caring people. thanks so much for helping a sobbing girl on a bad day. i appreciate you guys.
