The people at the front desk are always friendly and helpful each time I go. I would definitely recommend this if you are looking for friendliness, but remember it's also a junkyard so timeliness shouldn't always be expected.
Had to get an old car off the property and this place is the way to go.if they can use a part they will scarp it .and if not it go's to the cusher! It was kinda fun to watch them pick up them cars ! And the best they pay you for your junk!! Win! Win!!
I hit a bad pothole on my way to work. Damaged my tire and rim. This was my first call. They had the rim in stock and pulled. Got in and out in less than five minutes. Saved me about a hundred dollars. A+ Service.
Sold me a manual engine after I drove 7 hours for it.
There slick talkers that's about it haven't made good on anything they told me other then they had an engine.
Needed a automatic setup for a frontier pick up not a manual if I'd have known the expense involved did left it sitting in there door way.
Professional and efficient, but also great customer service. One employee took my information and got the car weighed, quoted, and handled the check and paperwork - all business and efficient.
But then, while we watched a car we've owned and loved for 14 years go up on that scale - to be sold for parts only because the cost to repair her engine was more than her book value - another thing happened. A guy from the shop came out, asked about the car, why we were selling her, and was sensitive and totally GOT that this was an emotional thing. He didn't have to do that, but he saw it would help and it did.
I'm terrible with names and forget them almost before your done saying them, but the staff at Johnson Auto Recycling are top shelf in my book.

Brought a transmission from them at a great price but then we were bummed that didn’t work. I called spoke with Larry and he was helpful to get me options. I was hoping they just had another one and done. But no they didn’t I like how larry was very nice and trying to find a solution for us. Even though it didn’t work out I was happy larry issued us a refund. I know these are used parts and when don’t know if they will work out or not.
Just called the place, they didn’t have what I needed. But, they were very nice especially because I did not know what I was talking about. I can only imagine the great customer service the have when you actually go in!
This is a family owned business and have always treated me wonderfully. Great used parts and with scrap metal and junk cars they buy really helps a lot of people. It makes our mountains look better. A big thank you to all who work here and keep us guys and our shops a going with great service
These folks were great! I had to scrap my old Rogue and they made the process super easy. Quick towing to their location, and they quickly processed my car and cut me a check for way more than I was expecting. I would definitely recommend!

Whoever I just spoke with took his time to look for a part for me when most people would most likely say I don't have it and then hang up. I would definitely try this place out myself if I was looking for parts just with the service I received over the phone
I simply called in for an estimate to junk a car and the woman that answered was not welcoming at all and spoke as if she didn’t want to be there and as if she didn’t want to speak to me. I have never done business at this establishment and because of the attitude I received during my first interaction, I never will. The staff should really learn to be more respectful and aware of their tone and attitude when interacting with potential customers.
Everyone was very friendly and helpful, and they gave me 20% more money for my vehicle than their competitors were offering, and they made it easy for me to keep my wheels. Keep it up guys, and thanks!
Bought an entire engine assembly 5.7L 350, got a good deal and they pulled it promptly and I picked it up 3 days later. Only paid $560 for it and I heard it run before it was pulled. Next step throw it in my truck
We came from Lenoir NC to pick up a motor for a truck. The staff was very friendly and professional. They had the motor loaded and paperwork done very quickly and we were back on the road in no time. Great customer service always goes a long way. Great job, it is appreciated!!
Always friendly service. Very informative. Organized and great prices. Place where I crushed my old car, all by weight. Got more with certain parts and wheels. So, give a call if you need a part/crush a car, because they always try to keep the customer happy with there ordered part.
Truly incredible service. Pete the service manager is far and away the best customer facing person I’ve ever dealt in the car business and one of the best people I’ve dealt with in all of sales. Incredibly professional and dedicated. Generally salvage yards are not a great experience but this place is exactly the opposite of that. Highly recommend. Please give this company your business!
