My car was taken here after it was totaled and my Nintendo switch was taken from my car, I guess the tow yard people or the people living in the campers beside the lot stole from my totaled car. Messaged them to find out they aren’t even running their own accounts so I can’t get ahold of anyone, im 5 months pregnant it sure would have been nice of they would’ve made my experience easy, however I left the state with less than I came with in more than one way, don’t recommend. Also the charger for the switch was left and it’s colored with sharpie cow print pretty sick they’d steal from my daughter considering it’s broken, I’d just like to have it for her games.
My fiances car was taken to this tow yard as a totaled vehicle and her personal items such as an nintendo switch was taken from her car while at this tow yard. The car would not lock due to being totaled the car wouldn't go into park therefore wouldn't lock, brought to the attention of the guy who let us into the lot and he said there was nothing that could be done about her switch because it was the owner who dropped the car off. Reached out on messenger and their page is ran by people who previously owned the company.
19 year old daughter was stranded in Asheville, NC with some friends with her keys locked in car. I appreciate these guys coming out and helping her. It did take them forever to show up but I sure traffic was probably terrible. I’m not sure, we are from Kentucky.
My niece was broke down at Arby's on New Leicester Hwy. Now from the towing company to my niece house is 13 minutes. I was charged $125.00 That being said, I use to help run a towing company in Hendersonville and that is absolutely absurd that they charged this price. Never again will I use this company. If I could give no stars I would give none.
I was stranded in the middle of the road with a bad alternator. I agreed to $250 charged to my card to tow my van literally 1.7 miles up the road…that was craziness number 1. The craziest part and why I’m leaving 1 star is after they’d set up the tow and I had paid, them making it clear if I canceled I wouldn’t get a refund, they then call me back and say I have to pay $40 extra since my van has modifications. I explained to the lady calling me that the modifications didn’t make my van any heavier and I’d already agreed to a price and paid. She insisted I had to pay at least $20 in cash more to the driver or they wouldn’t tow my van. Sketchy…
I called for a tow through my car insurance. I had a feeling I had not jumped my car correctly, and he was happy to do so, without making me feel embarrassed about it. He jumped my car quickly before it started raining, answered all of my questions about how to get home safely, and provided a bit of lighthearted humor, which was much needed for the day I had.
This company was scheduled to tow my car at 8:10am, they kept changing the arrival time over the course of 6 hours. When my insurance company tried to reach them to get an updated time, they just put them on hold and stopped responding to their calls. I was extremely flexible with the times they kept giving, nervous to cancel with them just being right around the corner. If you don’t want the job, don’t agree to it, I could have gotten service much earlier in the day if you had just declined the call from the provider. The number they have to reach the general manager is a personal number for some poor girl that has had to change her voicemail explaining she has nothing to do with the company. She informed them of this over 6 months ago and they still have not remedied it.
Great experience Friendly service. Only suggestion: have access to a dispatcher after hours. Could have saved driver time if I'd known when he would arrive at site. Dispatch could have given me an approx ETA
The best roadside assistance I could ask for. He kept me informed, was kind, and took the time to help me at the end of a busy day. I can not thank you enough for helping me. He had a rough day but still took the time to help me and was so incredibly professional.
This company was sent to me by my auto insurance company yesterday. The driver, Bud, arrived surprisingly quickly - I only waited about 25 minutes or so which is amazing! Bud was super quick and efficient, as well as super friendly & helpful.
Horrible stay FAR AWAY FROM THESE SCAMMERS. Original wait was 1.5 to 2 hours for a 70 mile tow. Long tow so I understand the wait. Then after the 2 hour mark hit I kept getting ETA updates between 10-20 minutes. Fast forward to the 4 hour mark and I’m still on the side of the road. When I called their line multiple times in that 4 hour period there was NO ANSWER OR RESPONSE. My insurance company couldn’t even get them on the phone. Absolute human garbage this company is to leave someone stranded on the side of the road for 4 hours without any factual information or timelines.
Excellent kind and professional service. The rollback truck was there in less than an hour. The driver was personable and efficient in his work. Sure made my unfortunate event less stressful. Very grateful.
The tow truck driver arrived at our location and then proceed to tell us he needed to leave to take care of a traffic vehicle accident. We were left waiting for about an hour and 45 minutes. We were quite concerned with arriving to the mechanics before it closed. The driver was very casual about our concerns and said “ just park it out front and leave the key in their drop box.” That was not the option that would have worked best for us. He felt we were rude for asking about his ETA and being firm about needing to get our car secured before the mechanic’s closing time. Being stranded is stressful enough, but having a tow driver that was unconcerned about our concerns made the afternoon worse. In the end it all worked out, but Bud created more stress than it needed to be.
Ain't going to lie, it took longer than I'd like. The tracker app they give is of a truck that doesn't move. I understandably got pissed as the eta kept getting pushed back further and further, as this truck was stationary. I called and they got someone out promptly. Bud is a good dude and the company is lucky to have him. He explainef how busy it is on Thursdays and Fridays, and that he'd been working his tail off. All it takes is a little humanity, an explanation, and a good person. Thanks Bud.
Recovery was dispatched to come help me with a flat by my insurance company and never showed up so I called them after sitting on the side of the interstate for 2.5 hours. When I called they said the driver had the wrong location and had been looking for me but gave up bc he couldn't locate my vehicle. Curious why they wouldn't have called me given that are given contact information. Then they told me they were actually outside of my area so I'd have to find someone else. I ended up calling highway patrol and they got a roadside service to me within 30 minutes and I was on my way. Don't waste your time with insurance or tow companies if you just need a flat change
Needed vehicle towed during 10 degree weather. Was told on phone that truck would arrive within 20 minutes. 50 minutes later State Farm was told it would arrive within 10 minutes. Actually arrived 25 minutes after that estimate.
That said, driver did a very good job once actually arrived, which is why I am giving any stars at all.
Bud was one of the most helpful people I’ve ever worked with regarding a stranded situation. He was there with in a half hour I think which is huge because you never know how long you’ll be stuck waiting for a tow. It is the second time I’ve had to do this (different cars) and he made it so much less stressful than it needed to be. He taught me how to use my patch pump helped us find the hole in the tire and had a smile on his face the whole time. It’s people like this that go above and beyond that brings some faith back into this horrible world we’re all living in.
Recovery Tactical was assigned through my insurance to tow my car. I can’t remember the person’s name I spoke to on the phone, but she was so nice and helpful. John was FAST getting my car to my home, and then figured out that it was just the battery! (We felt a bit dumb, but we were stressed) Thank you! P.S…tip your tow truck drivers!
Although the circumstances weren’t ideal, that wasn’t their fault. They just did their jobs and we understand that. What I really appreciated was the fact that he answered our call immediately, when we acquired how to go about retrieving the vehicle. And was available and willing to meet us within the hour, and didn’t over charge us, like some other businesses have in the past.
The driver was super helpful, knowledgeable and did a really good job with a pretty large vehicle. Unfortunately he damaged the taillight cover in the process of putting the vehicle in neutral and rolling it back to the lift. I guess I was just hoping he'd say something to me, text me or something, but he continued along. I just want him to know that had he come to me I would have understood but that's the kind of thing that stands between five star professionaliam and sort of on the fence about the business honesty.
From start to finish, I was impressed by this business. My car required a tow for service and I was treated politely, attentively, and respectfully by the office assistant, driver, and manager. Bernie called me to let me know he had my vehicle loaded and delivered safely. There was not a mark on it at the destination. It’s no secret that this treatment of a towing customer and a towed vehicle isn’t exactly what you would expect nowadays. Their attention to detail and human respect is rare and I will use them again if the need arises. Great job guys.
Dustin Cooper went above and beyond this morning, it was in the 20s this morning and he came without complaining hooked up my beloved 88 4runner safely and respectfully and dropped it off exactly where I requested him to. You really can’t ask for better service! Anytime in the future I need a tow I know who I will reach out to now! Thanks Dustin!
James really helped me out , stayed untill the problem was totally solved. And saved me a huge bill from having to tow to the dealership! I highly recommend! Good people! Can’t say enough good things about my experience
I got a tow through my insurance, and Recovery Tactical was assigned the tow. The driver Jesse arrived early, and went above and beyond in his service. He was kind enough to see if he could figure out my non-starting issue right on the spot! Though he was not able to, his attempt was gracious and appreciated. He then took good care to make sure it was tied properly and taken to the mechanic. I can not recommend the service more highly, but especially if you're lucky enough to get Jesse!
