Very great store. There workers are even better. The other day me and my partner got a call and they were nice enough to hold our items until we came back. Then when we came back they allowed someone to pay for our things along with the manager offering to give us a discount prior to her understanding about the customer paying for it. Really great store with amazing deals.

This stop & shop is very clean always stocked up . Employees are very nice & kind. Employees ask questions if you’re looking or can they help you with something.

Today I tried to buy chicken, all the packages were sealed improperly, with little holes in them. The packages were all sticky and covered in chicken juice. Even better, I didn’t realize the package was leaking at first and it got chicken juice all over my other groceries. Great experience

The lady at the counter was so rude, totally unhelpful and let making excuses to not wrap my bouquet. Usually we come to this Stop and shop, however, this experience was totally out of hand, as we kept on asking to have the lady wrap our bouquet. The second the lady saw us, she started walking away. Though most of the people at the store are nice, these lady’s aren’t. Sadly I don’t know there names, but if i visit next time i surely will.

Good layout, lots of food and products.

Like other reviews mentioned, smelled strongly of urine throughout the store yesterday. Quickly bought paper products and left, will not be returning until they resolve.

I stopped here a few weeks ago and when I entered the store it smelled of cat urine so badly, it was really rancid, as if a cat was throughout the store marking its territory. I went back two days ago, figuring that maybe something happened in the store that day that caused the smell, but I went in there bright and early in the morning and the store was putrid with cat urine scent, I had to walk back out. It was said that a customer comes in there and the smell is emanating from them, and if this is true, they need to stop the person from patronizing the store, because it is a shame that employees and customers are walking around and working in that store oblivious to the smell, and how one person can make an entire store smell like that. I definitely won't go back to this Stop & Shop

Please be careful when buying yogurt. Always look at the expiration date before putting it in the cart. I shopped here on 6/28/25 and noticed almost every Too Good yogurt (4 pack) on the shelf expired around one to two weeks ago. I approached a nearby stock person about it and the guy gave me the dirtiest look as if I was bothering him.

This market is small by today's standards, even after a recent renovation. A fair selection of produce and staple goods but many items are left out. No housewares section. Moderate prices compared to other stores in the area. Adequate parking but a long traffic light to exit.

This retailer is very outdated and poorly managed. Employees there usually have the attitude, as if they’re doing you a favor sort of speak. The fresh fish/meat counter is the worst. No one is hardly ever back there to help anyone, we have to constantly have to search for service. I was in there on Monday night trying to buy fish, finally I see a gentleman walking back there and he immediately tells me, “the scale is broken.” I didn’t even get the chance to ask. I see there are two sets of scales right in front of me. I felt he just said that because he did not want to help me. This employee was bringing products to the meat cooler and didn’t want to be bothered. I then asked the customer service person about the scale issue in the fish department, his response was umm don’t know. I asked is there a manager here? He says umm, takes a few seconds and then says I can call him for you. I said never mind. I truly wish ShopRite would buy this location, much better service and quality of products, and way better prices.

Disappointing Experience I've been a regular customer at Stop&Shop for a while now, and generally, I've been satisfied with their selection and prices. Staff too. But for 4 years, I have witnessed several unpleasant experiences at the self checkout point with some customers being mistreated by the same staff member. I knew that, being a frequent customer, my turn will come sooner or later. And it came. On my latest visit, we were the target of an unacceptable behavior of their self checkout staff. *Suggestions* 1. Train staff to be polite and patient. I understand a bad day, but not constant misbehavior. 2. Encourage a positive attitude. The job at self checkout is clear. Assisting people if needed and making sure we all pay what we take. Until improvements are made, I'll reconsider shopping here.

Staff always helpful, generally well-stocked but the air in the store always smells a bit off. Please managers can you check your HVAC system filters and for mould build up.

Although this is in a nice neighborhood, the customer service person named NIDIA is absolutely rude as can be at before 9am. No reason an employee should answer the phone with such an atrocious nasty attitude. Please don’t join retail especially if you’re not people friendly no matter the situation. Very mediocre and needs an evaluation ASAP.

I was running some errands and decided to stop and do some food shopping using some new incentives that my job is offering to the employees;”GThank You” certificates, I used them about two weeks ago($100) and when I went to the register to pay the cashier told me that they don’t accepted this manufacture certificates all at onces, when I already had used them at the same store. Despite that which wasn’t really what’s bothering, is the unprofessional manager in charge with no manners whatsoever, i person that did not even bother to make eye’s contact with a customers just walk away saying “we got in trouble last time we use those”. The cashier advise me that she was the manager. And another lady came to the register telling that I could just use one at the time, if I’m using manufacturer coupon I could use as many as I want. But Thank you so much I know where not to expense my money…

I've come here plenty of times. They're a nice stop & shop with plenty of grocery options. They're a little bit smaller than a traditional Stop & Shop, but still a lovely place to shop. I've found the employees to be nice in all my experience. There's also a good amount of parking and it's in a nice area.

I have been experiencing bad quality of some of their products for a while, like once I found a beetle in a sealed arugula bag. Their cashiers are usually not very friendly or lack empathy in general (some don't even bother to respond to a greeting) but a couple of days ago it was just enough: I was told by one of their staff that I was not allowed to scan items with my 5 year old daughter. So adding this to the list of bad things about Stop and Shop, now this place is not a kids-friendly. I could not believe what the clerk was saying to me. She was not by herself but she was with me (an adult supervising her). I reached out via Facebook to ask if that is indeed a policy and got no answer nor an apology. I conclusion, it is time to stop going here and look for better options were I and my family are treated more welcomed.

Fewer aisles and smaller in size than the Super Stop & Shops found in more built up areas, this is a nice little market for finding essential items. However, store management needs to keep up on expiration dates of perishable items. On two separate trips, sliced bread on shelf was 7-10 days past the dates I shopped. For that, 4 stars out of 5.

I have shop at Stop & Shop For many years great place to shop they have great rotisserie chicken and great Fried Chicken Nice and crispy! A lot of organic food to purchase. the prices are not that bad at all, they always have good sales. Plus you earn points to use at shell gas station using the Stop & Shop points with the Stop & Shop card ?????‍♂️?‍♀️

Went to buy white chocolate chips, but they did not have any. They were not sold out. They had none at all. Everything in the aisles were all over the place. Horrible.

Second month in, they don't have Marlboro red shorts available. I've asked a person behind the counter, who should I talk to about them restocking it, and she brushed me off saying that they ordered them and it should be available soon. She was obviously afraid or uncappable of contacting her superior so I decided to write here. I understand they don't make money selling cigarettes but I buy everything in that store. They make plenty of money off of me already, for me to ask for this simple convenience. This is not a hate review but it is complain about something that I, as a smoker find irritating. Till I learn how to fix it, or who to talk to about it, I'll leave a 1 star review.

I've been finding alot of the packaging messed up and have been missing bread out of bags. I've complained 3 times and have never gotten a proper response back. It's been this last year that the quality control has gotten so poor. Hadn't had issues before. I now drive miles away to the other S&S where I've never had a problem when I buy more than say, 10 items.

Definitely has been updated and upgraded inside. Alot cleaner than it used to be. But they need more employees on the floor. You should not have to go looking all over for an employee when you need something. Also depending on the time it can be overcrowded, Which is not good when your isles are narrow. Otherwise it is a good store for your everyday needs.

I was here on a Wednesday and the parking lot was pretty crowded. I can only imagine what it's like on the weekends. Prices seem to be a bit higher here with less of a selection than a few of the other Stop n shops I have been to. Check was pretty quick, although the checkout girl didn't look like she was a happy camper...

Poorly stocked. They keep the store brands available but not much else. The firewood they sell is trash, you’re better off burning cardboard. There are much better grocery stores within a 15 minute drive. Save yourself the frustration and avoid Stop & Shop.

Two things... I really like the inventory . I don’t find such high quality products in the bronx... I’ve never seen nature’s promise kids milks @ any other stop in shop in my life... Don’t get me started on Bell n Evans..

What a disaster is grocery shopping here in Dobbs Ferry. This Stop & Shop does not carry anything. Their produce is old and they do not carry many common items... like Broccoli! Much of the produce is cut into small pieces then wrapped in a black Styrofoam case (hey Stop and Shop have you heard about environmental issues?) and usually the produce is super old. Then they have the nerve to overcharge for the stinky cut up vegetables. You can not buy a head of anything in that store. When you walk in the store really SMELLS bad- foul!!! Like they just can't get it clean. I don't trust the food there. It is a small store ... I get it but they never have anything I need. It is very sad that there are no supermarkets in this area at all. This store really needs to step up the quality and cleanliness. I now travel to the Shop Right on Central. It sure would be nice to be able to use my local grocer instead!
