A great experience here! Had my car inspected, just moved here and needed it for registration. Issues with my car and Rob and Dalton were so helpful, gave me sound advice on what to do. I need a new car and they gave me suggestions about different minivans! After all they did for inspection did not charge me since my car had issues !
Dalton also helped me find a car dealer to help me! Rob, Dalton and Edward are the best! I trust them and appreciate their help!! I’ll return here for any car repairs

The whole crew here is really helpful and reliable. I've been using them for repairs and service for many years for both newer and older vehicles. Fair pricing and honest work. This is a busy shop, but they've been able to squeeze me in when I've had tight deadlines and get me on my way.
I had a scare driving to work at the hospital near by and called in to see if they can help me . Dalton was such an angel , told me to bring it in and was able to diagnose right away and gave me such good advice . Always appreciate such expertise and above all kindness . Thank you! The guys at Performance really saved our butts and couldn’t have been nicer about it! Driving down the Sawmill pkwy when our sun roof burst, leaving a hole in our roof and glass rattling overhead. We were referred to Performance from the nearby hardware store. Big thank you to everyone for dropping what they were doing to patch us up in a weird and scary situation 🩷 sorry that we don’t live nearby to come back, so passing on our recommendation for anyone to go to Performance for your auto body needs 👍

For the past 16 years, Performance has patched or replaced innumerable tires due to construction nails, screws, and unexpected sharp objects on highways. Brought my car in for an oil change to the guys at Performance and it was the most pleasant experience I’ve had with a garage ever. Not only did my car get serviced quickly, but they fixed my tire that I’ve been having to fill with air every week. Dalton brought me into the shop to show me the culprit. A small screw had found its way into my tire. The cost to fix? Zero. He told me it was on the house. I will definitely be coming back for anything my car needs.
If you get a call from Rob trying to upsell you on some service decline it as it’s likely not based in fact. I had him call to try to convince me that my brake fluid was tainted and needed to be replaced. What he seemed to not know was that I just had my car there a month ago for a full brake job, where they charged me $200 (incl. tax) to replace the fluid. When I mentioned that on the call he said “well it definitely needs replacing”. He also tried to upsell me on other fluids needing replacement saying they look like the original fluids and have probably never been replaced, again seemingly unaware that I’ve brought the car to them before to perform all of the work he was describing.
I brought my paperwork showing they were supposed to have done the brake fluid service the last time I was there. Luckily Dalton was the one I had to speak with (Rob shuffled off to sit on a chair and read the paper), and he was both professional and honest in acknowledging the shop’s mistake. We checked and the service had indeed been performed the last time I was there, so Rob was either knowingly lying to me or too careless to take the 2 minutes to check the fluid himself.
Unfortunately I can’t bring my car back to a place I can’t trust, and as long as they have someone like Rob working there I won’t be back. I’d gladly go to any shop Dalton was running, so hopefully ownership sees this and realize Rob’s low quality labor is costing them business.

Definitely helpful. We went in and they detected the actual problem with the car.. an overfilled oil tank . That was nice. Seems pretty transparent. The owner was great and the staff seem knowledgeable. We will go back to them for maintenance in the future.
Would leave 0 stars if possible. They tried to charge me $1050 for a change of 4 spark plugs, an ignition coil, and an oil change. When I asked about the price they said its because of the cost of labor and they could drop the price to $750. All that should be no more than $400 and even thats pushing it. Proceeded to say I wouldn’t be doing business for that insane cost and then they decided to charge almost $180 for the diagnosing the cars issue. Ridiculous.
From out of town and broke down. When I called they were empathetic and offered to do their best to get me in same day! Service was awesome and Roger the mechanic was truthful and caring, came and got me to get my car. Can't say enough about them, price was fair also.
One of the most difficult tasks in automotive service is finding an honest and competent establishment. I recently brought my car in for a New York State Inspection. While the car was at the garage a minor accident occurred which resulted in a dent and scratch on the right hand side of the car.
Many service garages would have said nothing. I would have gotten in the car (entering on the driver's side) and not noticed the damage for days. At that point, there would be no way to determine how the damage was done.
The difference here is that Performance advised me IN ADVANCE that the damage had occurred and they repaired it (a body shop is on the premises) entirely at their expense!

I had a great experience with the folks at PSP (much better than my local VW dealership.) Front of shop staff is super friendly and helpful, body shop got my car in and installed new mirror and caps in under 2 hours. Will definitely bring my car here again.
I’ve always been really happy with the service here. They do a great job, tell you the real deal with what’s absolutely necessary for your car, and get parts in very quickly if needed.
I have lived in New York for 10 years and have struggled to find an Auto Shop that I feel is trustworthy, this shop has completely earned my trust and I am so relieved. I initially brought my car in following an accident for an estimate. I was so pleased with the way the staff treated me, I asked if they could do the work. They were kind enough to squeeze me in their busy schedule. Luis called me frequently to update me and I loved receiving the progress emails so I never had to question what was going on. My car was sparkling clean when I got it back. Thank you for all your hard work. From the bottom of my heart, I really appreciate it!!!!

These are the most honest and fairly priced car mechanics I have ever seen. I had an old beater car that I thought needed new breaks. I could see them driving around Dobbs all afternoon checking it. They asked me how long I plan on keeping it. I said less than 4 months. They told me it would last that long. They adjusted it. Cost? Zero. Amazing. I replaced that car long ago and am a lifetime customer, as is my husband, parents, babysitter, and I’ve even told my physical therapist. These guys are amazing. Dave at the front desk is very nice, too.
I can't say enough about how awesome these guys are. They are respectful, knowledgeable professionals that do a truly professional job. I brought my car in with significant paint damage from a leaky parking garage. They dealt with my insurance company from start to finish, repainted my entire car, and even fixed a couple other issues free of charge. The first time I saw my car after it was finished, the sight of it honestly took my breath away - It now looks like a brand new car! Thank You!!!

Great Experience! I took my van to performance after getting in an accident and needing to replace my bumpers. Performance was recommended by my insurance. I have to say, I had the best experience! All the staff are friendly, helpful and informative. The service was quick, smooth and done with quality. I’m very happy with my new bumpers and will continue to take my cars to Performance in the future.
These guys are the best. I've always brought my car here for basic maintenance, but recently I needed body work and they were just wonderful with that too. Helpful, courteous, prompt, honest. My car came back cleaner and nicer looking than before the accident. They even threw in a few little things for free, like fixing a crooked gas tank door and buffing out a small scratch. They've restored my faith in repair shops!
