It's a wonderful fair! I was there all week helping out my daughter at her vending booth. It's pretty well organized, the food was excellent and enrolment seemed very friendly. I would highly recommend!!

Paid $14 for parking and the parking attendant failed to mention that nothing was running and none of the vendors were open.

This is fun but the gentleman who runs security for the grandstands and derby was extremely rude. His name is Sarah Hamilton and he made us leave because we were standing with the crowd. I'm going to get a refund on the tickets we bought and pursue further action as two of us are handicapped and we're all of underrepresented groups. Shame on him

Awesome lights, sound, & entertainment! 4-H fun! Plenty of animals rides, & excellent food too!

Grew up in Palmyra always look forward to the Palmyra fair has gotten very bland. They need to widen their horizons have crafters come into an area of the fairgrounds and have booths for the week. I came to the fair on Monday with friends of mine who had never been and we were going to enjoy the day And the carnival concessions games and rides didn’t open till five, but they’re charging seven dollars to get in and half of the fair is not opened Very upsetting☹️☹️☹️

For those concerned about space, we have unfortunately accepted as a society that selfish and entitled behavior win over the concept that everyone has paid the same admission and it is crowded. Not welcoming to share the little space allowed is frankly, antisocial behavior which is why most of us get frustrated bringing our children into the society we have chosen to create, even at the county level. Not only was I struck by the woman in pink, but she refused to allow my party of 3 into any space around her, of which there were at least 7 seats, 4 they had their feet on, so i assumed a large group, but when the rest of her party came...3 of them...well... I was frustrated and perplexed by how selfish and ignorant we have allowed so many people to become that addressing it like adults is not a likely outcome. I realized not making a scene was my best route, being the only adult in my party. Also, a man in the crowd above us was removed with police escort (with his toddler in his arms) after screaming obscenities so loudly at a derby driver, that the driver was able to comprehend and reply. It was a full conversation of nothing but hatred. God Bless America. Thankfully, our well-stretched-out Grandma decided to yell back, "There's [Fuh-quin] kids over here!" Poignant, ma'am. And effective. I do not have delusional standards for a Demolition Derby, nor a county fair. I'm from the Midwest, I am familiar. But some semblance of civility within our population is required for any of this society to work. Any of it. I recommend we all consider doing better when or if we can, leading with kindness and consideration, because the amount of us who are most certainly not is growing at an alarming rate. Loved the rides. The food was decent, and the activities were great! My son had a wonderful time and I wish that was enough to make up for the behavior of my "peers" distracting me from being concerned about what I have to put up with just to exist in any social space. Funnel cake was boss.

They sold me 5 tickets to the demolition derby after it had ended. Like everyone was getting up to leave as we walked in I thought it was like an intermission. I returned to the booth and complained and she pointed at a sign that said no refunds ?

This was fun. Glad we went. Lots of interesting things to see. There was music, lots of vendors, a few good stores with lots of crazy things inside on Main Street. Was a good time. Will mostlikely attend next year.

Excellent line up entertainment this year !!! Best ever From the back porch to entertainment alley Was great kudos to who ever was responsible in organizing . At first I thought the corn shuking and corn eating contest were corny but I have to admit I did enjoy it .

Demolition derby was oversold. Arrived 45 minutes before starting time but grandstand was packed. Had to sit on the ground up against the barriers down in front of the grandstand. Didn't realize that I paid full grandstand price for a "lawn" seat. Ridiculous.

My girlfriend and I visited the Wayne County Fair on Saturday, 19 August. It was a fun day trip and her first time visiting such an event. We browsed the exhibits barns and saw some of the vendors, but the Urias Globe of Death, the walk through history, the midway with different games and foods, and the animal barns were particular favorites. A lovely way to spend an afternoon and the weather was perfect. Sunny, but not hot and just enough of a breeze. There were events going on late into the night, but we just spent the afternoon and had plenty of fun. Despite living nearby for most of my life, I hadn’t attended the Wayne County Fair before, but I’ll have to go back in the future.

Overall, it was a lot of fun. They need a better plan for the grandstand and the derby. They ran out of seats, and the line was still over a hundred people long. And what's up with the tarps to block the view? If you're gonna max out the seating, at least let people watch from the sides.

FRI Nite...in the First Responder Parade. It was cold and windy..60 in August? not the fairs fault...fair seemed lackluster and seemed like alot of booths were missing...crowds were down due to weather..Nitely band was extra loud noisy but the beer was good

Vendors are great! But the food we got sucked. And the staff there to lead to parking told us we could cut through (pregnant and was tired of the crowd to get to the car) we make it to the gate just to be told to turn around and go through the fairgrounds. We walk all the way back and the lady who told us to do it laughs at us?! Very disappointing trip. At first had fun then trying to leave was not. Will be a hard decision if we want to ever come back with our child.

I will never take my son back here because they will not let my son on the merry go round because he does not have a bracelet n he was 2 inches to small to ride alone. he is one years old. He is free and I was a paid adult. But they did have multiple kids on there as well with a paid adult n smaller then he was with no braclet. Went to office complained. Got no where. Asked for refunds. Got told NO. This is the worse experience I had here an I will never come back. This was in the kiddie area. The worse service ever. I am not happy me n my son will never come back.

What a great day out enjoying the rides, entertainment (child based) horses, cattle, rabbits n hogs. A super value n well organized. Kids n adults enjoying the arcades n various amusement rides like the Ferris wheel, Alpine rollercoaster n tea cups to name a few. Many food choices n some local vendors. A wonderful antique farm equipment exhibit n much more. Don't miss it. It is worth the ride to the Fair.

Most checked out the 4H stuff with the kids. They also went separately durong the week for kids day, they said it was great. Our main thing is the demo derby, but the line was crazy long and they pack the stands so tight. They need to use some of their profits and upgrade their entry and seating. The new starting format this year was really cool.

I adore their demolition derby and 4H displays. The midway, well, we stick to the games. But the food, the small town fair feel, and the community and daily events are wonderful for a county of this size. We truly love this fair. But I'm kind of neurotic about midway rides, so, take that with a grain of salt. There is a vendor with the best shaved ice! We can't leave without having had it. And the 4H food stand has really delicious food that supports an excellent cause.

We went for the annual barn dance and totally enjoyed ourselves! The band was great, got to dance, have a beer and visit with friends. Perfect night out!!

Came on a weeknight so the crowds were very manageable. Several family-friendly activities.

This is basically like any other county fair that I've been to. There were a lot of animals to look at, and vegetables, and art projects from the community. All the people who were running it seemed nice, and there was a good variety of food options.

The animals were great. I loved the bunnies and the cows, especially the calf I pet. The horse drawn carriage ride was cool and they had a great selection of food to choose from.

Taking the kids during the day is great! It gets a little crowded at night.
