Recently a pipe at my house burst and I didn't have access to my shower for a few days. This was the closest place to me that had a shower you could pay for. They only have one, but it's super clean! The water pressure isn't the most amazing but the water stays hot super long. The shower is in its own separate room with its own toilet and sink. There's also a shelf and chair so plenty of space to put things on that's off the ground. Once you shut the door it's almost like you're in an apartment bathroom. Lots of space, clean, super calm, a great experience. Would definitely reccomend to anybody in my situation. Shower was less than $10 too, no time limit.

Clean store & bathrooms. Ordered a ham, egg & cheese breakfast sandwich on an ET bagel. Wasn't expecting much but was pleasantly surprised. It was perfect.
All staff were very friendly.
Everyone is so nice. The subs are good, homemade chips are a bonus ♥️ They have the best selection of candy and snacks for road trips. I don't want to let the cat out of the bag, but everything specialty flavor of drink is here ♥️♥️
Been coming here when in the area since I was kid. Not sure what changed recently but the service is horrendous. I asked a question and instead of a basic correction I was meant with and full on argument and that wasn't enough. The female staff than went in the back to loudly disrespect me even more to their colleagues to the point I just left instead of being treated like dirt any longer.
Nice little truck stop, good food reasonable prices for 2025. My only complaint is that I ordered a sausage egg and cheese on a hard roll and they gave it to me on a toasted hamburger bun. If they'd just said they were out of hard rolls I'd have been fine with it and asked for an English muffin.. they were out of a lot of stuff when I got dinner last night.
Fort Ann’s literally saved us. We ran out of wiper fluid in a rental car on a road trip back to NYC. Despite being out of fluid at the store, the owner sold her own personal wiper fluid and helped us install it. When it still wasn’t working she brought out hot water to help us clean snow off our windshield and helped us get the wiper fluid working. We wouldn’t have made it back to NYC without Fort Ann’s Super Stop!
I just want to say the deli food is amazing. We love the subs. So delicious😋. Cajun frys are so yummy! We found this place casually on a trip to Vermont . We were in the Lake Geoge area last week. After our delicious first experience we had, we had to stop again last week. Thanks for making the food great and having a welcoming environment.
I ordered a roast beef sandwich 🥪 and this is what I received! There is absolutely no meet. When I went back to have it rectified they slopped a new one together and refused any form of compensation. I have had many issues with this place. Previously we received moldy bread, missing items, undercooked meat, etc. I hope they take this review seriously and do better. Our truckers go here and they deserve better!!! Slow down and pay attention! This would avoid the major of the issues.
Truck Driver stayed here for my 34 reset. Food is spectacular. Shower (1), was clean, eat in dining area, lots of local hand crafted made foods, bakery on site, Diesel fuel out back, parking lot has deep pot holes, avoid rain filled holes, they're deep. No issues parking overnight. Dollar General is 2 doors down, walking distance.
A must stop for a great freshly made sandwich. LOTS of choices! We were here for Americade and stopped in twice for lunch and this morning for breakfast on our way out. Hope took our breakfast sandwich order. She was friendly and very efficient and knowledgeable. Hope knows the menu and answered my questions to decide which sandwich I wanted. She went to the extra mile for servicing us. We also got a pumpkin roll and plain donut, which were freshly made on site. Yummy 😋
Listen….if you don’t stop here you’re crazy!! The people are super friendly and polite, the food is amazing!! Healthy portions and very nicely priced! The desserts are delicious. The bathroom is very clean. I’m more than positive the showers are as well. Other reviewers have already stated so. I drive the New England states all the time. Been everywhere up here. This place is a hidden gem that I finally stopped at and discovered. Free parking, and a sit down area inside. Y’all come on down. It’s more than worth it. Thank you to the beautiful people here for providing this place for us drivers. We appreciate you🙏

Terrible service. Stood in front of the register while the cashier stood five feet away and made no effort to cash me out until another local he was talking to said "you have a customer" (he'd already seen me and made eye contact but no movement). I said good morning, thank you, and have a nice day, all of which were met with blank stares and no response. Only words he uttered were the price of my two packs of gum. Horrible manners for our small town where people still say hello to strangers, and despite wanting to support our local businesses, I'll be going to the cumbies down the road from here on out.
$9.10 for the SHOWER well worth it. Clean towels provided if you ask. UPDATE The second time I used the shower there was no presure and it never got warm unlike the first time.
But their breakfasts have huge portions so I'll keep the five star review.
The next time I'll go back I'll turn on the shower first to see if the water is running before paying.
I had a Philly stk and cheese sub w onions peppers and also had mushrooms with was different but very fresh and everything was tasty for sure. There homemade chips r peppery but r so tasty..very good size menu..very polite and few tables to sit at not alot but few. Its a truck stop but we'll rounded I would say..food came out fast and there was a few people showing up from working on the road and ordering food as well.good prices I do believe
The Fort Anne Super Stop is one of my very few must stop spots I'll drive out my way for. They've got a great sandwich counter, competitive gas prices, and a HUGE pull in area for trucks trailers and RVs. Plus, they really are the best game in town between the truck stops on the NY Thruway and Rutland, VT with a really good location between NY and Vermont.
LOVE THE COUNTRY STORE/DELI INSIDE!! The Food is Delicious, probably the Best Bacon, Egg & Cheese Ive had in a long time! Tried their " Moose Crossing" Coffee & it was so good. Ill be driving out to them just to have breakfast again Yum 😋
Best gas prices in the area on the time we were there and the deli inside has extremely delicious items.
There's a little farmers market in the front that carries some of the best tomatoes I have ever eaten.
The price of their pumpkins and gorge was extremely reasonable.
Looked at the apples but since they only sold them in large lots I had to convince the gentleman to let me just buy three.
They were delicious.
Great sandwiches, super nice people. We have a place in Vermont and go back and forth from NJ nearly monthly. This is a good stop on our way, but for some reason we hadn't been in years. We started back and we're glad we did. Called from the car for subs to pick up. Ready on time, as ordered, and they threw chips and a pickle in with our sons pb and honey, which he was so excited about. The ladies at the counter are so pleasant and the place is always clean, including the bathrooms. We'll certainly be back. Thanks!
Great little place with excellent food! Beats the hell out of the big chain truck stops if you want real food. Excellent staff as well. Very friendly. Good sized lot. Always has parking available. Nice and quiet. 75 Gallons for a free shower. Basic, but very clean. Take fleet cards (such as Comdata) inside with your truck information (truck number, mileage, etc) to get the pump activated for use.
