Ordered a carbon fiber driveshaft for the Ram TRX to fix the TRX driveshaft clunk. The clunk is definitely gone and throttle response is better but you can only tell if you are familiar with the vehicle.
I have been beating on the truck since I had the shaft put in and it seems to be holding up. Good upgrade. If it breaks I will buy another.

They sell you a driveshaft that does not even physically fit the application. Claims that we should have measured tunnel clearance, but why offer a driveshaft that would require you to modify the chassis to fit as a pre-made to order option? Makes no sense, but were out $2k. On the first outing the driveshaft vibrated so badly the entire driveline felt like it would fall out of the car. Literally the FIRST LAP we drove the car. Removed exhaust and inspected , all hardware was tight and no other issues. Noted that the shaft was vibrating and oscillating so badly that it was making contact with the chassis in a place that you cannot physically remove from the body, as it is bonded. So I'm not sure why they'd offer a 3.25" carbon tube shaft for the E46 when it physically does not fit in the tunnel ! See photos.
Ended up using the Driveshaft shop , who made the correct , ready to order shaft at a better price point, and they were great with customer service. I'd highly recommend the Driveshaft shop over East Coast driveline if you want a driveshaft that will fit and will not be mis-represented. These people just have a bunch of generic options on their site for custom shafts but have not proven or tested most of them so buyer beware!
This place is unreliable at best. I ordered a driveshaft and spoke with Pat Brown here 3 times the day I ordered it. He ensured it was the right fit and part multiple times so that I wouldn’t get cold feet and cancel the order. Well you guessed it, it wasn’t the right fit PLUS the end on it wouldn’t have worked for my vehicle anyways. It was a double wammy for how wrong this part was. Now Pat thinks he can keep 20% of the order because the part will “sit on a shelf”. Wrong. Someone else will order that wrong part and he’ll make a profit off it. Disgusting. This was his mistake and reassured me on the phone it would fit and now I’m out $200. If my bank won’t dispute it I’ll be seeing Pat in small court claims because this is ridiculous. 0/10 don’t recommend

They took a payment from me June 2 and promised to ship that month. In early July the promised to ship within a few days. Nearing the end of August, nothing shipped, and they won't answer calls or emails. STAY AWAY.
Purchased for a mercedes benz C230 custom chromoly one piece driveshaft 1500$cad, pretty heavy, unbalanced and was missing bushings on one side to ensure securing of the bolts, had to cover shipping costs that was not my mistake. Angles were not asked during ordering to ensure balancing setup to that effect. Possible damage during tpt/shipping/handling. Neither Email nor Phone call communication are effective. There is only one subject matter expert and does not provide much time for customer support compared to production of many more driveshafts. Vibrations are found starting at 110kph which does not reflect 7000rpm stated balancing. There were no instructions into installation, setup nor optimal angles as well as u joint servicing intervals included in the package, neither the changes to transmission and differential bushings were recommended as to be polyurethane vice rubber/OEM during ordering. I will be required to have it checked by a local balancing to diagnose the issue.
Ordered a driveshaft adapter, everything looks great other than the mounting hardware must have been a mix up on thread pitches, tried emailing 2 different ways with no response
For the almost $500 I spent on an adapter alone everything should fit and I've given a grace period for them to respond and atleast give me an option to resolve this issue, no response so here I am giving my review because of $15 worth of bolts I must source myself now
If the car was ready to go and this was the last thing to complete for a deadline this would have put everything on hold and I've been patient

The guys over at east coast drive line are great. Driveshaft showed up at my door a week after ordering. Had some initial problems with install but they went above and beyond to make sure things were figured out. Couldn’t be happier.

I dealt with Pat thru email only, he was responsive and wealth of great information. I did not speak with him at all via phone but truly was not necessary. He sent me invoice Friday morning had a boatload of other questions he quickly responded too and felt super comfortable pulling the trigger. The best part is I got the drive shaft on Saturday literally next morning. Definitely will do business with Pat again. Hats off to a great transaction.
Had a driveshaft custom made for my truck and shipped to Canada, once installed I had alot of vibrations after paying CAD $1600. took it for repair at a local shop here, found out it had a bad joint.
Needed a 2 piece driveshaft for a custom chassis pickup. Pat talked to me on the phone, explaining my options, and provided quotes for each.
Initially there was a dimensional problem with the driveshaft but without question Pat paid for return shipping and fixed the problem for free.
Would not hesitate to use their services again.
Called and discussed what my Tacoma was doing bad take off shutter and high speed vibration tried everything to get angles right with two piece driveline no luck they built me a one piece aluminum and that got rid of shutter and vibration great service
They do good work the driveshaft looked fantastic. The one I bought was advertised for my truck and during use it clearly was not designed with the use of the truck as a truck which caused my new driveshaft to rub drastically on my frame. They did offer to rebalance it free of charge and make sure that it was safe to drive on, but due to having to use my truck as a truck I will have to go back to the stock driveshaft. Only use this driveshaft for the Nissan Titan XD if the truck is a pavement princess.
The guys at East Coast Driveline are the absolute best! They re-sized and balanced a custom driveshaft for my 1980 LS swapped malibu and made the process absolutely seamless and worry free. Their finished product was a perfect fit and they were able to ship it back to me In CT within a day of it being dropped off at their shop. Highly recommend to anyone in the world of hot rods or anyone in need of a driveshaft anything. 10/10 customer service.
As a shop owner, I am very critical about customer service. This company is customer service and communication is not up to par. I had to call them many times to find out what was going on with my transmission. I had to go down myself to figure out what they were gonna do with my transmission, they were telling me in the beginning that it wasn’t gonna work that they were gonna try a few things, but never got back to me at the end, they told me my transmission will be ready on Monday. Never did get a call about the transmission and also that would be a certain price to be picked up on Monday when the transmission is not ready. It will be ready the following day changed they ultimately promised me that the job would be significantly lower than I was pulled at the last shop and the price at the end was close to the price I was quoted at another shop. I am very unsatisfied with this company also gave me a box full of parts that were on the transmission when given to the company I’m surprised this company cannot put the parts back on the transmission and give me the transmission back the same way that I Gave it to them I would not suggest anything else you will be wasting your money and your time this company also had my transmission for over a month and a half never not once told me what a price was until the end
As a shop owner myself, I am always critical of other businesses that we deal with. My reputation is on every product we sell. I am very happy and pleased with the quick turn around and professionalism that I was shown working with East Coast Driveline! A late call on a Friday and they accommodated me by sending a driveshaft, that had to be made, shipped to my door by early Tuesday, with incredible results. No more Vibrations on my Personal Truck. I will be using East Coast in the future, and all my automotive counterparts will hear of my great experience.
Worst driveshaft shop ever, stay away, spent $700 to have a custom shaft built for my jeep, was satisfied at first, and was also told it had a warranty, driveshaft literally fell out of the truck going down the highway with not even 300 miles about 2 months later. Brought it back and was told they’d take care of it because it had a warranty, called me a few days later to tell me it was finished and then told me I owed $350. Never again will I go or recommend anyone to this shop. Also know absolutely nothing about what they’re doing, my buddy had went there and told him his driveshaft was too short and was gonna fall out driving down the road, that weekend he took it to Pennsylvania and went off-road all weekend with no issues

Paid for overnight shipping to make a track event out of town ($300.00) and got the shaft... pun intended! I'll leave another review after I drive 3 hours to get the part that showed up 2 days late.
i brought my front drive shaft from my f350 superduty pickup to them at 12in afternoon it was finished w new u joints and painted at 3pm...Easy to deal with ...great place
I do not recommend this place it unprofessional. I brought in my drive shaft on a Monday and they stated they were going to check it the same day and call me. I called Tuesday in the morning to see if they were ready, they told me that in the afternoon it would be ready for pick up and that they would call me, since they never called me I went Wednesday afternoon to check and they told me they already fixed it but in reality they were in the same spot as I left them three days ago and nothing was fix. And they still had the audacity to charge me for not fixing anything. I really do not recommend this place.
These guy are good stuff. I heard about this place for years, but never needed them until now. Sent in a 1990 Chevy Suburban two piece drive shaft off for a new hanger bearing and u-joints. The quote was very reasonable and got the unit back next day. There was a bad wobble after I installed, so I called back. They asked for the shaft back immediately. it was rebalanced, no question, no problem, no-charge and same day. The truck runs smooth as silk.
