I had gotten the name of this shop from a few people in the Holbrook area that had said if I was looking for a new go-to auto repair shop that stands by quality work, reliability, and honesty, that I don't have to look any further than Kudrick's. To my surprise, I found that this business embodies those values and I can say that without a doubt, l will be taking my vehicles to Kudrick's from now on for all of my automobile needs. First, there are plenty of spots to park- either in front of the building, behind it, or in a lot off to the left. You can see that there's a lot of work being done there, along with plenty of mechanics tending to vehicles in every bay with a car/truck on a lift. I brought my car there at 7:30am this Monday morning and there were already mechanics there getting work done. To my surprise, I received a call about an hour and a half later, not only with the diagnosis of my car issue- but that they had actually fixed the small problem by tightening a few bolts AND didn't charge me to correct the small problem! Any auto shop that I would've used in the past could've gotten back to me at the end of the day, or charged me $200 to tighten those screws, but the honesty, and quick service of Kudrick's got me back on the road that morning by 10am. Ricky is a great guy. Very knowledgeable and very understanding with helping explain what’s needed for my trucks. The workmanship is top notch. Honest and fair pricing as well. Mechanics are real mechanics not a bunch of 20 something kids in the shop working on your vehicle. Not to mention very clean and organized. This is my second truck I have brought to them and I will only be going to them from now on. Hands down best shop I have found in 20+ yrs. Highly recommended.

Have an old f250 over 200k miles needed go to Florida this shop never failed me great work honest pricing truck runs like new. Ricky is the best. Whenever I'm talking about something that needs to get done to my truck and say my mechanic told me something, people always ask if I trust the mechanic (we all know what that's a reference to) and I always say "yes". Because I do. I've never felt like he was trying to upsell me or fake something. Highly recommended.

When I read reviews on how the guys at this shop were the most honest people they dealt with I gave them a shot. Definitely a great bunch of guys. Glad to have them in Holbrook and will continue to bring my vehicles to this shop. No question!!!

Dropped my 2nd gen Cummins here on may 5th June 25th. I stop off there and see what’s going on with it. They didn’t touch the truck once, I asked them if they did anything and he says we can’t figure it out. Keep in mind not one phone call the entire time they had the truck. Turns out it was a ground wire on the speed sensor the shop I brought it to after I got the truck from kudricks had it done In 2 hours. Reported to the bbb already.

Honesty and great service. Experience at Kudricks very positive. Always up front with repairs needed, and price communicated prior to starting work. Front office area spotless. Extra effort dedicated to clean and safe waiting area. Kudricks is my go to.

When you’re in an auto pickle, call Ricky! Around noon yesterday I realized my car had a loose tube and I lost all my antifreeze, so my fiancé and I drove over to the nearest auto shop, and Ricky had Elite towing to my car in less than twenty minutes and by 4, my trusty iron pony was ready to roll and at a reasonable cost too. I was able to drive on home to brooklyn confidently and I would use them again for sure! Thanks Ricky!

I came from out of state, moving, having my car shipped on one of those big car carriers. 4 days after pick up 2 screws holding my heat shield fell out and my car made horrible sounds while driving. Went to this place to have them take a look at it, hour before closing on Saturday. They not only screwed my heat shield back in place but also put air in one of my tires that apparently was almost flat, all this and no charge. Definitely saved my day. Having a toddler and newborn with me and still staying at the hotel, still awaiting on my household goods to be delivered, at least I have one less thing to worry about for now. Will definitely come back if I need any repairs on my car.

They gave me the confidence that the job will be done and it was . Highly RECOMMEND this shop . Nick the owner has such a great attitude .

Great service, fast turnaround time. Nissan Dealer wanted me to spend 3k on a part that turned out to not even be the problem. Saved alot of time and money going to Kudricks, they will be my mechanic going foward.

My dad's car was in a head on collision. It wasn't totaled, but the repairs to the front of the car were pretty significant. My experience with this shop is mixed, so I'll start with the good: the car is repaired and there don't seem to be any issues with it related to the accident aside from a minor thing with the plastic steering wheel housing, which I don't think was there prior to the accident, but like I said, it's minor. Now with the bad. And I don't think it's entirely the shop's fault, but a large part of it is. The repairs took over two months. Not because the repairs themselves were so complicated, but because there was a total lack of communication and a tendency to not do anything when hitting a roadblock. The insurance company was GEICO for this, and their adjuster was a POS. I called him multiple times, left at least 3 voicemails, and never received even 1 call back from him. The only sort of pressure I had on him was through the GEICO claim agent. I would complain to her and she seemed to be able to get him going at times. But here is the thing with this repair shop. I handed the car over to them, and they never called me either. They would try to get in touch with the insurance, and when they couldn't, they would just give up and not let me know. I had to call them multiple times only to find out that they couldn't get in touch with the insurance about something and so they were "waiting". All this waiting on the part of the shop resulted in over two months of my waiting for the car. And when I came to pick it up, the owner there started looking through the checks from GEICO and it turned out the numbers were off somewhere, and for an hour he couldn't figure out whether or not he was missing one of the checks, and he had me call GEICO and try to figure it out for him. It was a mess. I'm having a different car repaired at another shop right now. The owner is great there. He calls me with any questions, he calls the insurance (Travelers this time) to handle all the things for me, he handled the car rental for me, and with his estimate, the car will be fixed in a week. So if you value your time and nerves, I'd skip Kudrick's.

Needed a new mechanic in the area, brought my car in for an oil change and they were were very helpful and professional. I left my car there and within the hour they called me to come get it. Much cheaper than what I'm accustomed to as well and they filled a tire that was low without me asking. Most definitely using them for all my cars moving forward.

I've been going to this shop for years and they never disappointed. Last June they replaced the A/C compressor on my car. I have since moved to Texas where temperatures regularly exceed 100 degrees. The compressor failed last week. Today Ricky did everything he could to help me get the repair covered by the warranty, including a follow up call to make sure it all went well. No one provides service like this on LI. Great job guys!

These guys are great. I had a previous mechanic that i knew was overcharging, doing work that didn't need to be done and actually damaging my car with sloppy work. I've been here for an oil change, an inspection and minor repairs for my Honda Civic, and I've been really happy with each visit. Ricky is super friendly and makes you feel welcome at the shop. I can tell it's a good shop too because of the way the customers who came in while I was waiting were interacting with the shop employees. Definitely has that mom and pop feel, and it's a place you can trust. A rare thing nowadays.
