I submitted an old part and the cashier attempted to provide guidance on the necessary part based on the computer's recommendation. Nonetheless, it was patently clear that the proposed part was incorrect. A simple inspection would have been enough to detect the mistake. I subsequently went to an alternative parts store and promptly obtained the correct part.
Wow. That's all I could say, is wow after the best experience i've had at an advance Auto in my life. I came in because my key fob battery was dead for my generator. Before going to the store, I called to ask If they had the battery I needed in stock and the gentleman found the battery and told me the price and the quantity that they had. He also knew that my key fob would require two batteries and had all the necessary parts and tools ready to swap the battery out When I walked in the store. This kind of customer service is rare nowadays and employees like him are extremely hard to find. My only regret is not getting his name so that I could call him by name in this post.
After receiving the wrong parts from a new auto parts store, I went to advanced. Not only did I get the right part immediately but the service was excellent. The lady that helped was very nice and knowledgeable. I won't waste my time going anywhere else.
Again I find that their are incompetent people in this world. A simple task of installing windshield wipers is one of the basic things a person can do. A monkey could be trained to do it. So when you spend $62.00 on a set, don't you think you could insure its done correctly. 10min back on the I-390 one comes off in a pouring rain. Not only is this frustrating but dangerous. You endangered the safety of the people in the vehicle and others on the road. I hope that corporate gets this and takes action. I will be contacting an attorney for advice. My boyfriend was in need of help. They weren't busy. Yet the two employees couldn't be bothered to actually help out a customer find where a part is located in their store. One employee keeps coming out to smoke every fifteen to twenty minutes. I will not be returning to this store. They told me I could return a part if it doesn't fit, then refused to actually refund it how it is suppose to be. The only refunded .90 of the original part I brought. We checked to see if it would fit without damaging the item which it wouldn't fit. And tried to return it only to be met with them saying they can only do .90 on the part. The employees are also allowing animals into the store, these animals aren't service animals.
I have been to this store twice and the first time my dad was short a dollar and they gave him a senior citizen discount and were very kind to my dad! Tonight my son was having trouble with his brake caliber and the manger Dave was so very kind and helpful to me! Very nice store very nice employees! I hope this company is good to these employees. A plus service 100 stars ⭐️
I went here and was gonna buy a gas can but when I told the cashier it was because I couldn't open the one in my trunk she came out and tried to open.it then tool it in to a guy who was working he was able to open it and they were so kind
Traveling and had a blowout on the freeway right at the exit. We watched our tire pressure drop as we exited over 1 min to 0 as we pulled into this store at 759. I know this because I got it to go inside and the worker opened the door and said we are closed. I said your sign says at 8. And it literally turned 8 right then. I was now completely flat on the rims and shouldn't drive anywhere else. He told me everything was shut down and they couldn't help me. I'm like, did you shut down early because you opened the door belt 8 to tell me you were closed. He was more then helpful to give me tips and info on where to go get help but if have to drive. I only asked to buy a can of fix a flator if they had a compressor or a flat repair kit. I could pay cash and a little extra and they could run it through the till tomorrow. At that point he closed and locked the door. Very disappointed as we are from ouy of state driving 4 hours north tonight still. I saw another gentlemen inside gathering supplies and was hopeful he was going to help. 5 min later he and the other guy walked out and left. Here we are 30 min later still stuck here trying to get help through the rental agency. This dang ford ecosport doesn't have a spare and Dolar rental says we didn't purchase the premium emergency road side assistance. ?
Very helpful franchise to have near home. Lots of readily available parts in stocks for the majority of common vehicles, at a decent price or in store purchase. I've personally stocked my garages from their on-hand commercial parts counter with air oil and cabin filters; most common break pads and rotors, break lines, fitings, distribution blocks and hoses; light bulbs and fuses. I've bought hundreds of parts for my personal vehicles and family, and several businesses I've owned and ran.
Great customer service ! They were very helpful and friendly. I didn't have a long wait as they have several staff on hand and there return policy is very good . I had a great experience there.
I found one counter dude to be completely awesome, even told me where to go, another store,to get something they didn't have... The other clerk was as helpful as a wet tissue is seemed annoyed to be there....
Had the windshield wiper. I have it a 4 star because the wiper they told me to get was 1 inch too short. They said I needed a 17 when the manual days I needed 18. I didn't notice until I replaced the old one

Needed a receipt that had been lost or stolen and they were able to get it pulled up and printed again. Took them time to do this but they went out of their way to do it for me. Great customer service!
The staff are always helpful and informative. They know their way around cars and their parts. Scott was helpful in explaining what the code behind my engine light meant and how I could fix it. I appreciate that he took cost into account and recommended that I start with least expensive solutions and working upward. Highly recommend.
If using speed perks coupons make sure you are specific or else they may not let you use a coupon because one says for online purchases and the one below doesn't.
Not the best parts network. Cheap overpriced parts not made to last their warranties. Counter associates with limited knowledge and ignorant of consumer needs. Save yourself the aggravation and visit Napa Auto Parts. Most reputable auto repair shops don't even give Advance a second thought.
