My daughter was in an accident sole car. Her First. Someone at the scene called the tow Truck without my daughters input and the Truck came and towed the car but took no instructions from my daughter and didn't speak to her at all about the towing, where the car should be towed to etc. when we got to the car it was held in a tow lot and the charge was $790. The tow company claimed "that it is a normal charge for cars and the insurance will pay" no wonder insurance is so expensive. It wasn't even a 10 mile tow. In the lot, The windows were left open in the rain and snow from the night before, belongings were not secured from the car nor were they given to my daughter before the tow truck took off with the car including her purse. The car was drivable so we paid and left the lit. People were kind but it was difficult to get a hold of them and the cost for value completely out of line. Given a choice would never use. Make sure you know the process before an accident and have a plan or you will pay more for the towing than the fix.
If there was an option to rate zero starts, I would do that.
Agreed that their technician would call me before coming, so I could explain the situation before they come and find out if they can handle it, but they came without calling and were not able to fix it, then they said it has to be towed to the shop to get it fixed, which was only a few miles away, then they said I have to wait until tomorrow until they receive needed parts. Even though we explained them we had a load that needs to be delivered the same day, they acted they would fix it once we get to the shop and ended up charging me a lot of money for wasting my time and money not getting the job done. I had to go and find another shop and tow the truck to another shop. Avoid this scammers!!!!
In my experience, this business took advantage of me during an emergency. They said one thing before towing my truck, but once it arrived at their shop, they changed the terms completely.
My truck was towed only 7 miles and I was charged $1,726. I was told the rate was $300 per hour, then it was changed to $350 per hour without my approval. I was also told a part costs $120, but they demanded $2,759 to install it. Because of this unreasonable price, I refused the repair and did not authorize any work.
Despite this, I was still charged $1,000 in labor, even though no repair work was done.
I believe this shop uses misleading statements and pressures customers in difficult situations. I am leaving this review to warn others to be extremely cautious.
Had my radiator and EGR cooler replaced here. Truck was brought back to life, the only holdup was parts availability. Thick white smoke coming out of the crankcase oil breather (looked like burning leaves) was gone down the road after a simple oil change (was recommended by this shop).
I had the pleasure of working with Scott C. today after he helped move a car that’s very dear to me. He was very nice and respectful and made the situation fun allowing me to forget how stressful having your car moved can be. You could tell he was a professional based on how he handled everything and if I ever need anything in the future I’ll be sure to try and request him. Thank you!
Had to have my vehicle towed late last week. My auto insurance company put me in touch with Fleetpride, Inc.. I was initially told about an hour to an hour and a half before they got to me. Well, within 20 minutes they were notifying me they were where my car was!! Imagine my surprise; nobody is that prompt these days. The driver was courteous and knowledgeable. Reassured me several times he would safely get my car to where it needed to be…which he did. If I ever need a tow again, they will be my first call. Thank you, Fleetpride for taking care of my car.
Is a great place to take truck for repairs mechanics are very professionals and we can trust on all repairs also people over the counter are very courteous
Car broke down in painted post. Called AAA and Geico who both called fleet and stated the tow would be to buffalo. Fleet agreed and said they would be there in an hour. After an hour they called and said they weren’t going to do it. The driver showed up and said they don’t have enough staff with an empty flat bed. Said he stopped by “just to see what was going on” but arrived himself so AAA and geico closed the case and I was left on the side of the road with my daughter and no assistance.
I am unclear why fleet would accept the call only to decline it but am more baffled as to why one of their employees would arrive themselves on site and come with an empty truck only to tell us in person they were leaving us on the side of the road
Would not recommend.
Got the truck in on Friday at like 410pm to do inspection.....nice hustle y'all very much appreciated. Staff behind counter and working hands are 110 percent on their game with knowledge and experience for whatever gets thrown their way. Two thumbs 👍 with many thanks
Showed up just before close with a blown tralier tire as well as a damaged mudflap and frame. I was road ready and made payment within one hour and a half. Everyone was informative, attentive and friendly. I couldn't ask for a better experience or more professionalism. Money well spent!
The woman who helped me here was so kind. My mother passed away in a car accident, the police left her belongings in the car, I needed to get. I had a friend meet me but the lady at the desk made sure I was ok then after everything came out to give condolences. Her heart was so kind. They were great with all the insurance paperwork too.
Husband wrecked his motorcycle. T&R is charging over $400 for just the towing fee when they literally towed the MOTORCYCLE less than 20 minutes!! Not at all pleased with this - signed title over to them. They can keep the bike!
128$ for a tire replacement and I had a spare tire. They said that they charged me for an hour of ROAD SERVICE which made no sense because I came to their shop. I am giving them 2 stars just because of the mechanic who replaced my tire in less than 15 min, but I am very unsatisfied wit the fact they charged me an hour of road service for a 15min of labor in their shop. If you are a fellow trucker (owner operator) I would advise you to stay away from from them. This is just a honest review of the experience I had with them.
