They like to say nothing is wrong with my vehicle, but then I go somewhere else and get it looked at and I’m told the opposite and they fix the issue. I went in with where this place would not and had told me it was totally fine. they don’t know what they are doing here. Beware maybe it was a new guy a manager wanted to defend what he did saying he was in the right, so don’t recommend.

Very disappointed in their service department. I took my 2025 chevy equinox there due to noise when I go to turn right or left. When I took my vehicle there dropped it off and explained to them situation they said ok. Later on went down to pick it up the service guy said it stops making the grinding noise once u put it in 2 wheel. He tried telling me all new vehicles when in all wheel drive makes that noise when turning. I explained to him when I bought my vehicle it didnt make the noise then when I was in all wheel so why now. He got snippy with me so I left pretty much un tears cause I know something is wrong. So, I called elm chevy asked for second opinion. Thankfully, they listened and seen there was a bulletin bout the noise and says to flush out the differential. So service tech at Elm chevy did this 3 times and got the noise gone no matter what. He also took the time to explain everything to me and he also told me anymore issues to please bring back !!! So, I then called foxes asked to talk to service manager . I tried explaining to the service manager why I was upset . So, just cause your technician took my car out of all wheel drive and doesnt hear the noise doesnt at all fix the problem !! I felt he should've looked deeper into it !! The service manager was rude and wasnt understanding my frustration and I ended up hanging up on here so that I wouldnt go off. He then calls me back leaves voice message and says sorry we missed the bulletin and glad u got your car fixed !! Very disappointed in foxes from now on I will recommend elm chevy for everything!!

Bought a GMC Sierra from Fox Auto Group and had an excellent experience working with Colton. He was honest, easy to work with, and made sure I got exactly what I was looking for. I work at a small independent automotive repair shop just south of Rochester, NY. I took the drive out to the Painted Post area to grab a couple of nuts for a diesel glow plug repair as Fox Auto Group was one of the only dealerships within a reasonable distance that had them in stock. I received very friendly customer service over the phone as the staff in the parts department confirmed they had the nuts in stock and that they would hold them for me -- even though I was not a regular customer. After making the 1-1/2 hour drive down, I arrived just two minutes after the parts department closed. The staff very kindly informed me that Krystal in the parts department had received my call that I was running a little late and she was waiting a few minutes after close for me. I received the nuts with no issue, everyone was super kind/friendly, and we were able to do the best repair possible for our customer. Thanks so much Fox Automotive Group!

I have bought 2 trucks here and my wife has also bought 2 vehicles here. Always been a pleasure to work with Fox auto. Kyle is who I normally work with. But both my wife's and my deals have been pretty much the same. Fair trade allowance and yes, I check before I go. If you aren't quite there, we have always met in the middle. We also go to Fox for our service for most everything. Patty in the service department has always addressed our concerns and has been up front and honest. She is a pleasure to see when we are there fore our service work. Give them a look for your next purchase or service, we are pretty sure you won't find a better GM dealer to work with!!! Oh yes, and we drive across the county preferring to work with them. Thank you Fox Auto!! I love this truck!

I recently purchased a certified vehicle from Fox Auto Group in Painted Post. Colton Foster was the associate that predominantly managed the sale however; the entire staff made themselves available for every request that I had. It was nice to work with a team that took an honest approach rather than a desperate approach for a sale! Colton’s character and follow through along with his product knowledge is refreshing. I would recommend this business if your in the market for a new to you vehicle.

I brought my Volt in for inspection for what would have been my third time with Fox. They seemed nice enough the first 2 times, and I thought I could trust them. This time, I had explained to them that the check engine light was on, but I thought it was some minor sensor glitch because I have very low miles on my car and everything is running fine. I sat in the waiting room for well over 2 hours. They searched in vain for a mechanical issue, but of course, there wasn't one. So they failed me on my tires and presented me with a hefty estimate for 4 new high end tires, plus mounting, balancing and alignment, to the tune of 827. dollars, in addition to what they were charging me for the engine diagnostic and inspection. When I told them one of my rear tires had been replaced not that long ago and Goodyear told me both rear tires were fine, they said I really only needed the front two. BIG difference. I decided I would take it elsewhere, and they still had my car on the lift for another 20 minutes, so they must have had the wheels off, thinking I would just sign off on the estimate. When all was said and done, they charged me a $150. fee for the engine diagnostic, plus the inspection fee, and I got nothing for it but confirmation of what I already knew; That there was nothing mechanically wrong with my car. I asked for the failure sticker so that I could drive until I got the tires, and they told me my sticker was still good until midnight, so they wouldn't give me one. So that was....weird, stupid, spiteful, unethical, but at that point I just wanted to leave and wasn't up for an argument. I took the car to Goodyear, had the front tires replaced and aligned and passed inspection with no further issues, for a fraction what Fox was trying to charge me. I was so surprised and disappointed at their lack of integrity and professionalism, I will never go back to Fox again.

I have purchased my last two vehicles from here. The level of customer service and satisfaction is truly amazing. Not only do they provide service to get you into the vehicle you want but also after. No other dealership has called us to see if we are happy with our purchase after they got our money. Amazing group of people. They will always get my family’s GM business.

We have purchased several vehicles at Fox Auto Group. Our most recent was a 2025 Yukon Denali. Kyle Kolhoff spent a great deal of time with us over two days, demonstrating many of the technical features, answering our questions and providing us with a most pleasant and gratifying experience. The prices are fair and attention to detail is certainly paid. We would recommend Fox Auto Group to anyone interested in purchasing a GM vehicle. Found the car we wanted at a very fair price here at Fox. Colton, the salesman was a pleasure. No high pressure. Very informative. I truly wish I could say the rest of the experience was as good. I will leave it at that. Don't think I will ever shop there again. They say customer satisfaction is number one but I certainly didn't feel like it had anything to do with customer satisfaction. Excellent experience with Fox Auto Group! After facing an unexpected failure with our families current vehicle we were tasked with having to find a new vehicle quickly. It just so happened that Fox had the exact type of vehicle we needed. The process was seamless from test drive to purchase. I would highly recommend giving them a chance if you are considering any of there large ever changing inventory of both new and used. I was shopping for a clean, low mileage Silverado 2500 to tow my camper with. I called on a 2011 with 29k miles on it. I spoke with Mark Fitzgerald and explained what I was looking for. I told him I would be driving 2 and a half hours to look at the truck and if it was as described, I would buy the truck. I brought a bank cashiers check with me considering how far away the drive was. When I arrived, I was able to see the undercoat peeling off the frame at the rear wheel wells. When I got under the truck, it was so rusty that I was able to grab chunks of the frame off with my fingers and pull it off. I never got an attitude, never raised my voice, but I let Mark and his manager know that I wasn't happy driving so far for a truck that I was told was a clean truck, inside and outside. They're response was "This is New York, that is a normal frame." Well, I live in the poconos, I know what rust on a vehicle looks like. I went out to their lot and checked a half a dozen other trucks frames from the same Chevy era as their 2011 and every other frame was clean. Nothing was even close to the amount of rust on the Silverado I came to look at. I dont feel this dealership is honest, I feel they'd sell whatever they can to make a quick buck.

Just purchased our new 2021 Tahoe. We had a great experience. The staff was welcoming and was respectful of our limited time. Our salesman, Jim was excellent and I recommend him for your sales needs. I recommend you stop by and give them a chance to earn your business. You won't be disappointed.

After finding a used 2019 gmc sierra 1500 online for sale i called the dealership and i spoke with Sales Rep Kyle Kollhoff. After expressing my interest in the vehicle i provided him detailed information on my trade in and send multiple pictures. We then agreed on a trade in value of $43,500 but he did say that he had to see my unit is person to verify its described condition. Therefore i drove 2 hrs and 15 mins down on May 29th. Upon arriving at the dealership and the manager verifying that my trade in was in excellent condition the manager tried to low ball me and offer me 43,000. After i threatened to drive back home he came back up to the agreed upon trade in amount. After agreeing on the purchase price of the truck i took the truck home that day. Since arriving home and putting 500 miles on the truck. I have been in the shop twice. Once to fix the air conditioning system that was not working and now for a service engine soon light. Additionally i have discovered delamination on the in between plastic layer of the windshield that disrupts my view well driving. Finally this unit i purchased was a GMC certified unit and these issues should have been discovered and fixed during the certification process. It is clear that the service tech and service manager just pencil whipped through the certification process well skipping steps. At this point this 48,000 dollar truck has been more hassle than i signed up for. I tried reaching out to Kyle my sales rep but never heard back! Plus too top it off i had to detail the truck for 2 hours the next day after getting it home to get it up to standard.
