Worst car buying experience of my life & I NEVER leave bad reviews. Stay as far away from Frank, the manager, as possible. Everyone else is great there though.

Had a great experience with Rockland auto with our used car purchases. They have a great selection of cars within varying price ranges, makes and models. The finance person was absolutely awesome as well. Overall the experience was great so much so we ended up purchasing 2 family vehicles within a short time. There were a few follow up items with the cars which were addressed immediately by Rockland and their mechanics once we advised them.

Great service and attentive to detail, great options and quality cars, went the extra mile to make me feel comfortable with the buy, will definitely be coming back for my next car

Frank at Rockland Auto and team made us feel at home and made sure our slightly used auto was perfect and safe, most dealers just care about a quick sale, not here.

IN PROGRESS: Found a used SUV that I wanted & called there and made contact with Tom. Paid a $500 deposit on the vehicle because I really wanted it & the CARFAX was clean.

When I went to see the vehicle 3 days later, it was as pictured although it had minor problems which I pointed out to Tom & he said they would be fixed by time I pick the vehicle up.

I will be picking the vehicle up soon & will update. Vehicle is being purchased cash, not financed.

So far it was quick and easy, very straight forward. N hidden fees and decent selection of cars at decent to good prices. More workers needed though but for the most part good.

I was there one rainy evening in February to view two cars. I was pleased
with the cars, except that if the car is older than 4-5 years it's difficult to get a decent rate. But i'm not done yet. I'm still planning to go back if one of the cars that I liked is still available when I gather a few bucks more to be able to purchase it. I dealt with Yecenia/sales & Diana/finance and they were wonderful and not so pushy which can be annoying!

Cars arent the same price as there are on line. 3000 more on the lot there rude dont go there

I haven’t shopped for a used car in years and came to realize all these dealerships add on crazy fees! But not Rockland Auto Mall. I found a great car for my price range! Incredible service. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Decent value on the vehicle (van). but this place has bad communication skills, doesn't let you get your mechanic to check the vehicle out first, didn't disclose that our vehicle purchase was used as a taxi/cab, only included 1 key with a non-functioning FOB, and had an AC that blasted warm air.

Icing on the cake? Tom told us he spent extra time cleaning out the vehicle... but somehow left a broken tail light in the back along with a collection of old car bumpers.

Happy with the van now that I've spent an extra $1,250+ fixing issues that would have been avoided if we could have showed this to a mechanic before purchasing. Wouldn't shop here again though.

I apologize Frank, but had to leave this poor review....My husband, daughter and I went to see a 2010 Jeep Wrangler, with over 170,000 miles, which we were interested in looking at for her 17th bday...The car on the lot was listed at $1,000 more then it was online. At first, Frank was very attentive...Promised he would give us a brand new bumper since it was dented in, promised us that anything that was wrong with the vehicle he would have fixed so it would be safe for our daughter to drive. We wanted to take a test drive, however, the battery was dead, and most of the tires needed air, one was flat, and the tire sensor was on. Frank promised to have the car ready in a few days to test drive... After the test drive, we asked if we could take it to our very reputable jeep mechanic for an inspection, which we did. We paid $110.00 for the inspection of the vehicle. The Jeep ended up having over $3,000 worth of work that needed to be done to it, so we gave Frank the report. He said he would have his mechanics look into the list and put the vehicle on the lift and he would see what can be done. We weren't expecting everything on the list to be fixed, however, we were hoping that the car he was selling us would be safe to drive off the lot. Frank did tell us that if he fixes everything on the sheet he will be looking at a loss and would probably rather send it back to auction and lose $500 on it. Days went by, no call from Frank, however, before this information was brought to his attention, he was very attentive towards all of our texts. He finally answers his phone and tells us that it's the end of the month, it's a very busy time, and would get it on the lift soon....Another week goes by.....NO FRANK!! Finally, my husband gets a hold of him, which he apologizes and says he thought he got back to us...Frank begins to tell my husband that he was auctioning the car, that it would no longer be for sale because everything our inspection report noted was true. He refused to give us our money back for the inspection WE paid for for the car that HE was selling. He told him that if we buy a car off his lot then we would get that credit.....First of all, why don't they do their own inspections to see if the car they are interested in buying is even worth it. How can they sell cars from their lot not knowing all of the underlying problems with the cars??? My advice would be if you are even considering using this used car dealership, that you DEFINITELY get your own car inspection, or you are going to be in for a lot of extra money once the car leaves the lot....I would never recommend this company to anyone. Very disappointed, I was robbed of $110. They are looking for buyers that know nothing about cars, and rely on their information on the car. Happy news, found my daughter a newer jeep with a lot less miles in perfect condition for almost the same money!!! It was a blessing that Rockland Auto Mall screwed us!!!

Purchased a 2003 acura cl from them everything that was promised was delivered even after i picked car up i brought it back for a minor repair at no coast to me frank took care of me and made sure car was right looking forward to purchasing another car from them.

Beware! Not honest no matter what they tell you. Purchased car. Pointed out things I wanted fixed kept being promised that "all" was going to be taken care of before I picked up the car. When I went home and sent a summary email to the dealer, they called me and told me that the deal was off and refunded my deposit; seriously??? They would not answer my calls to speak to me about it when I tried to call back.

Typical sales except no follow through. They lie and tell you everything you want to hear and follow up on nothing.

Bought. A 2014 Chevy from them had no problems and when I did they fixed the problem going to buy my second. Car from them

Was roped in by Carlos calling me and telling me I was approved. I made it very clear I HAD NO DOWN PAYMENT and I was told that was okay. I get there and most of my time spent there was watching these con artist shuffel people around and make another gentlman that was there to trade his car in drive myself and Carlos to another lot! Carlos handed me the keys to check out a car, and when i told him my concerns he went into this story about how the guy who buys the cars doesnt put work into them until they are boughy and if the car doesnt sell it gets sent to an action and blah blah blah. After spending more then half my day there, the gentleman helping me, who got up and left multiple times tells me that my down payment on a car I liked would be close to three thousand dollars. When I explained to him I didn't have a down payment he looked surprised. I took my paperwork and left. I called Carlos and asked him why he told me I didn't need a down payment and he said a car could have popped up that didn't require one...
So basically I wasted my day sitting and waiting for nothing. These people just want your money and are lying con artists..... DONT go there.... And if you do make sure you bring someone who knows about cars If you don't!!!!! I wish I could give negative stars!!!!!

Bought a white 2011 Subaru STi from this place, drove 4 1/2 hours after dealing with a rude salesman for a week or so. Get to the place and pick the car up. And Tom my salesman made it seem like he was doing me a favor by getting the car recall taken care of, but I was giving them 27,000 dollars so that's the least he could do, long story short. Check engine light came on 30 minutes after leaving, once I got it home checked the codes and it was misfiring on 3 of 4 cylinders.. call them and they didn't want anything to do with fixing it, however it's a two trip failure code so that is the reason the car was running when I got to the dealership so the MIL light wouldn't come on until I left. The ecu was also married to an accessport (the accessport was clearly in the dealers picutures) but no where to be found when I got it.. so even the Subaru dealership couldn't communicate with the car, so luckily the lemon law kicked in and they had to give me my money back, all in all one of the worst experiences of my life but I do give tom props for looking me in the eye while he ripped me off..
