Diane in financing was absolutely wonderful to work with. Buying a car can sometimes feel overwhelming, but Diane made the financing process smooth and stress-free. Marlon was equally impressive. I had a fantastic experience at Rockland Motors! I’ll be honest - I was very skeptical at first. Like many people, I had some hesitation about buying from a “independently owned” used car lot, not like a corporate franchise dealership (like a Lexus, or a Toyota dealership) . There’s always that fear of ending up at a shady used car lot with a sleazy salesman. But they were the complete opposite of that stereotype in every way. Marlon was an absolute pleasure to deal with-professional, patient, and genuinely committed to making sure I was taken care of. He spent a great deal of time with me and never once flinched when I brought up questions or concerns. He made sure the car I purchased was safe, reliable, and exactly what my family needed. Diane, also so nice and helpful with anything that needed to get done. Everyone in the office was incredibly welcoming - especially to my dog, Swiper! They treated him like part of the family, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable and comfortable. Even after I purchased the vehicle, when something unexpected went wrong, they went above and beyond to fix it. That level of service and integrity truly stood out. Lou, the awesome mechanic was also incredibly helpful and patient throughout the process. If you’re hesitant about buying from a smaller dealership, don’t bewith them, Rockland Motors completely changed my perspective, and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for an honest and caring car-buying experience. I purchased a vehicle from Rockland Motors in cash $8,072.83. A vehicle of which I still to date have not received the title of the vehicle for in the mail since purchasing at the beginning of February 2026. Within 24 hours of purchase, I identified several issues, including an inactive fog light and a defective driver-side visor that I was told would be ordered and replaced. That replacement has not occurred. The manual cut key purchased with the vehicle does not allow manual entry access. Six days after purchase, I experienced a lockout while the vehicle was running and in park. The vehicle then transitioned into accessory mode, and I was unable to regain entry. I paid $400 to a locksmith for entry assistance. During the service, the locksmith also had to jump-start the battery after it drained during the incident. During that service, the locksmith raised concerns regarding the driver-side internal door mechanism and its ability to facilitate manual unlocking. I visited the dealership in person three separate times to address these concerns. Each time, I was told the issues would be handled by the on-site mechanics and that management would follow up. No follow-up occurred. I also attempted to contact the dealership by phone during normal business hours; calls were routed to an automated text system. The automated system identifies itself as a human representative, although staff later confirmed in person that it is AI-operated. When I requested reimbursement for the $400 lockout expense and resolution of the outstanding issues, I was told management would speak with ownership and respond. It has now been over a week with no response. The vehicle is currently exhibiting shaking at highway speeds above 60 mph, which was discussed during the test drive and was stated to have been resolved prior to delivery. I also did not receive the full return of my security deposit, as a $15 transaction fee was withheld. I am sharing this experience for transparency so future buyers can ensure that all repairs and representations are completed and documented prior to taking possession.

My experience buying a car her was wonderful. To start i showed up on Christmas Eve, suprised that they were open to check out a car I saw on their site. Merlon helped me with any questions i had from the start and through the whole process. I test drove and put down a deposit that day. For the next step Diane went above and beyond to get me the best deal on financing and when i was about to sign one, found me an even better deal before hand which saved me a lot of money. The whole process was painless and, considering it all happened right around a couple holidays, they got me the car quickly.

My experience at Rockland Motors was outstanding. From the finance department (Diane R.) to the sales rep (Marlon R.). Both worked diligently and made the transaction as smooth and stress-free as possible. We know when making a large purchase, it's never an easy thing, but these two individuals along with the other staff were absolutely great. If you need a vehicle and want someone to work hard for you, GO TO ROCKLAND MOTORS in West Nyack and ask for Marlon and Diane!!

The staff at Rockland Motors was so friendly and helpful. They listened to our needs and helped us find the right car for us. If i could give them a 0 I would. Worst car dealership Ive ever been to. I was shown cars that I wasnt interested in. When i did find a vehicle it needed service. I ended up being talked into a vehicle i didnt want and they couldnt find the parts needed for the car to run. I left $515 for them to hold a car. Im just warning dont deal with these guys They suck. Shouldnt a car be serviced before you leave money. Backwards Dealership. And i didnt get my $15.00. Now they called me threating me that they would leave a review about me Very professional.These are the same people smiling in my face. Say what u want to. I dodged a bullet. Thanks for nothing. Got the Honda I wanted elsewhere keep selling your lemons. People do not deal with these people.

ATTENTION PLEASE READ THIS MESSAGE About four months ago, I bought an Acura SUV from this company. I wish I hadn't bought it. Let me tell you the story. I saw the car on the internet and I liked it. I called and said I would come and pick up the car. The woman at the accounting department was interested. Thank you. If it comes to technical maintenance, there was a friend named John who explained the car to me and told me about the maintenance of the cars. I asked if you could please check it a second time. They said okay, there is no problem, you can come and pick it up. When I went there, I found some errors. First, there was no spare tire. Second, there was no spare tire tool. Third, there was no device to remove the spare tire and I saw scratches on the left side of the car. I presented these and they took care of the scratches on the car. They said they would order the spare tire and tools and give you a new one. I said okay and we agreed on everything. I bought the car. I'm not a mechanic so I don't know much about cars. When I first drove it, I didn't feel anything. But after a week, I noticed a noise coming from the rear two parts of the car. I took the car to Midas Auto Service for maintenance. The guys there said that both shock absorbers of the car were flat. I bought the car and told the dealer about this. The dealer told me there was no problem and said you could go. When I insisted, they went for a test drive and said the shock absorbers were broken. They gave me an appointment for the next week and I went a week later. My spare tire and tire removal bar had arrived at that time. I took the spare tire but I couldn't find a place to put it because they didn't tell me about the spare tire tool. Then when I asked about the shock absorber, they told me they ordered the wrong part and I had to come back a week later. By the way, I live in New Jersey and I found the car. The dealer is in New York. There are 100 miles between us and the round trip is 200 miles. When I went back a week later, it was already the fifth week. I returned the car to the technical service staff. They told me to come and get it in 2 hours. Of course, I didn't see what they were doing inside because they didn't let me in. They didn't show me the part. They didn't give me the old part. They told me it was ready and said you can go. I took the car and went, but two days later I saw that the same problem continued. I showed it to the mechanic in my area. The mechanic took out the shock absorber and showed me that they hadn't changed the shock absorber at all, they hadn't touched it at all. I don't know how they did anything, but the sound had been off for two days. It was broken in my residence and they didn't do it and told me they had fixed it. And by the way, they gave me the wrong tire iron to remove the tire. I bought the spare tire holder with my own money, $80 from Amazon. I bought the iron from the Acura service center, $19. The shock absorber cost me $400. The two of them cost me $800, and replacing them cost me $1500. Including all the expenses, the round trip cost me $2000. PLEASE DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THIS CAR DEALER The worst salesman I have ever seen is the one who is greedy for money and doesn't care about customers. Don't waste your money. If you want to waste your money, definitely take someone who knows about cars with you because these salesmen lie. Except for the lady in accounting, she is a good lady. Thank you. Everyone else is just empty liars. The products I ordered here and the old shock absorber that came out of the car. Do you think a shock absorber that is only a month old can wear out this much? It's beyond impossible. I bought all the parts you see here myself. It cost $2000 including labor.

Tried calling on a car multiple times. They have this AI and Text system that is very annoying, and even going through with all of the back and forth with the automated system, you still don't get a live person. Unable to get any real information about a car that I was interested in, so I went somewhere else. edit: They responded with they were going to call me back, another empty promise now dropping a star.

After my used car, which had served me for many years, finally gave up, I was in search of something more eco-friendly and practical. I'm so glad I chose to go to Rockland Motors. I got my first-ever electric car here, and I can't express how kind and helpful the team was. Although they were a little understaffed on the day I visited, the team went above and beyond to ensure I was taken care of, and the effort did not go unnoticed. This was also my first time financing a car, and I felt supported throughout the whole process. Such a great family-owned business. Thank you to Barbie and the team! Nightmare experience. They sold us a lemon with shot breaks. It was so unsafe! It took them over a week to address our issues and they dodged our phone calls constantly. Did not update us along the way. They sold us this car with a "safety inspection" sticker and when we took it to our mechanic he said there is no way this could legally pass inspection. We lost so much time and money by buying a car from this dealership (which by the way was priced way higher than value) and we strongly suggest you buy from anywhere else!

I purchased a 2016 Chevy equinox at this location on Saturday, as soon as I pulled off the lot lights started going off in the car and then Sunday it died. I was told the car was serviced and it definitely WAS NOT!! Nothing was cleaned or serviced!! I took the car back Monday for a new battery. The electrical issues with the car were not disclosed and the navigation and Bluetooth do not work in the vehicle when I asked them to fix it they did not, while the battery was being replaced at Mavis next-door I asked them to fix it and they refused. I hope nothing else is wrong with this vehicle otherwise I have to get ignorant. Now we have to take the car to a mechanic and Rockland Motor should be responsible for the bill!!! DO NOT BUY CARS HERE!!!!

We have bought many vehicles successfully on OVE from dealerships all across the country and we recently bought a 2019 Acura TLX from this dealership, When the car arrived it had altered suspension and someone removed both mufflers/ a hole large hole is the drivers seat. They did not announce these issues and the cost to repair is $3400. I would advise anyone looking for an honest dealerships to avoid this one.

I’ve been in the market on buying my first car since March 2024. Buying a used car can be and was very exhausting. I’ve been to multiple dealerships looking for a used jeep that wasn’t so expensive. I always wanted a used car where I didn’t have to worry about it getting scratched or dinged from back in the city. I went to 4 dealerships in one day in July 2024 and wanted to cry and give up my search until I came across my dream car which is a Jeep wrangler unlimited Sahara at Rockland motors. I immediately fell in love with it. It’s a used 2015 jeep wrangler unlimited Sahara with black leather seats, hard and soft top, heated seats and it’s in great condition considering the year. The previous owner kept fantastic care of the car. This staff at Rockland motors are AMAZING!!! everyone was very kind, welcoming and answered all my questions and concerns. Diane and Steve are honestly the best! They kept me in the loop and up to date throughout the process of buying the car and during the inspections. Diane explained in depth about the warranty options and found the best price for me. Absolutely love her! Steve made sure I was super comfortable and happy with my first car but also made sure it was safe. He replaced all the tires, detail the car and made sure everything was in tip top shape. During my whole process of car shopping and trying to figure out which car I wanted, I am so proud and beyond excited that my first car is my dream car since I was 9 years old and I have Rockland motors to thank. They made my whole car buying experience a pleasant one and I will definitely do more business with Rockland motors and I highly recommend others to them. Here we go.....this is exactly how I would sell a vehicle to my family. PERIOD!! The entire process, from introduction to Diane, to my coming to Rockland Motors from Manhasset, Long Island the next day and selecting an absolutely pristine 2020 Jeep Compass with 17k miles, and then picking it up on Saturday was 4 days. Flawless in execution, perfection in delivery of my new car, and customer service that is the definition that all future books should be written about.
