normally I never have an issue with this location But tonight I arrive because I needed assistance changing my headlight out Which I always go to an AutoZone nearby and they never have an issue with doing so. Last time I came to this location The man that works there named Jay changed my bulb And I always tip Anybody who assist me And said he had me Cash app him the money for the bulb without paying for it at the register Because clearly he needed the money And then he discarded the bad one. He proceeded to then clock out of his shift come to my car and ask for my Instagram Which I kindly gave it to him but never responded back . So when I arrive tonight I was explaining to the gentleman last time somebody assisted me and I didn't have an issue and Jay Announced that he actually helped me last time Which I didn't even recognize him. He could've simply helped me because he was behind the register not doing anything but luckily the other gentleman Chris helped me, If you're stealing money from the company you could at least help customers when they need assistance.

Staff at this location are always very kind and helpful, but there is one major issue that really needs attention—the temperature inside the store. It’s extremely cold, to the point where customers can’t even stay comfortably. Even with portable heaters running, it’s still freezing. Management really needs to address the heating situation as soon as possible.

Chad was so helpful and amazing. I will always come back to this location. I highly recommend everyone to ask for him when you need a part for your car. He’s the best!

I had an amazing experience at this location. Brianna was able to help me figure out what was wrong with my car and find a solution. Thank you for the awesome customer service. I’ll make sure to come back to this location when i have any questions regarding my car.

This place needs to have a better manager. Make sure to enter here on the picture as I'm posting it... needs to have more help in this store. Thank you. Update 09/30/2025, when there today and Ms. Brianna was a wonderful help, she deserves a kudos kiddos and a pay raise 👏 she was very helpful and I appreciate her. Please have some kind of employee of the month to give your staff and a some top-up in the pockets $$$ it will boost employees mentality, Ms. Brianna will receive that 5 star, not the people before her, she was very straightforward and on coming of how you should do business 😉 please reply to me to let me know you take care of your employees. Simple battery install took 40 minutes and didn't even finish. Guy went back inside to get a tool and never came back out. Left me with a loose battery and no tools to put it back on properly.

Boss, what's the problem? Don't you pay the wages of the employees here? Why are they so disrespectful and unhappy? The small, bald-headed employee is aggressive. 4 people can't even handle one customer. Don't be so lazy.

I'm rating 5 stars not much because of the place but because of an employee whose name is Javier. Let me start off by saying that Javier is soooo kind and so sweet. I came in today ( 05/28/25 ) around 9:40ishpm with an issue and as soon as I walked in Javier was ready to help me with a smile on his face. He didn't even know what my situation was but he was ready to help, thanks to him I was able to make it home safe and he was even kind enough to make sure I was okay before driving home. He's great! You guys are lucky to have someone like him on your team :)

After 3 years of continuously trying to come to this store to get parts they still refuse to train their teams in commercial. Simple commercial issues or transactions should be able to be done by any grey shirt for sure. They consistently refuse to help commercial customers and will say "Commercial is closed". Today we dealt with the Assistant Store Manager Brianna and she refused to do a simple return to our commercial account where it was only a charge to our account and the return would be right back to our account, we had bought 2 alternators not sure which one was the right one for our customer today and brought in the other that wasn't needed. It was a simple transaction that I even offered to show her how to process and she just kept saying commerial is closed. This is not how we treat our customers and even in everything we are taught we never say No! This is a never-ending problem with stores in this district and needs to be taken care of.

The worst autozone ever. This use to be the only place I bought auto parts now it's the last 👎🏾 ok tried autozone again on 5/26/2025 ...again no luck....even worse then before so I guess it really don't matter if autozone as a business really cares about the customer...last time I would rather go to pet boys and their closed ..out of business....like this autozone should be

One of the second worst auto zone i been too. The young lady there didn’t even try to assist me. She helped her co workers before helping me & the store was empty. I told her what i needed & got a very rude response.

I'm writing to provide feedback on my recent visits to Store #2983, which is conveniently located near my garage. As a frequent customer, I appreciate the store's proximity and services. However, during my winter visits, I've noticed that the store's temperature is consistently quite low. While I understand that winter brings colder weather, I believe the store's temperature should be maintained at a comfortable level for both customers and employees. I'm concerned that the current temperature may be affecting the shopping experience and employee well-being. I kindly request that you consider adjusting the store's heating system to provide a warmer environment. Thank you for your attention to this matter. When I arrived I was greeted by the employees and Karen, the Store manager. Karen was very helpful in my last second dilemma. She assisted me in what I needed immediately and was extremely knowledgeable and informative. She needs a promotion!

I purchased a battery for my car, only to find that it was defective. When I returned to the store to exchange it under warranty, the manager confronted me in an aggressive manner. Not only did he raise his voice, but he also resorted to using racist language, making the experience incredibly uncomfortable and frustrating. I was not allowed to proceed with the battery exchange, which left me feeling disrespected and unheard. It's evident that new management is urgently needed at this location. If you take a look at the comments section below, you’ll find several others who have encountered similar issues, highlighting a pattern of unacceptable behavior that needs to be addressed.

Super pathetic staff. I came here for cabin filter at the cash counter pathetic girl and one guy they both are Spanish (South American) they said I have to find part by myself. And insult me with racist comment on me (with say about my country name) I will not recommend this location to anyone. Gonna complaint to autozone’s head quarter as well. I will definitely not visit ANY AUTOZONE EVER.

Need more staffing. Only two people working on a Sunday. Line out the door, people turning around and leaving. If you so happen to make it to the counter, staff don't know how to look up parts, didn't know what the store rewards program is, purchases rarely count towards their reward program because info is never entered. The purchases that does make it into the system earn reward balances but if they don't know how to enter info into the system, what's the point. Your balance will just end up expiring. I'm feeding the cashier the part number on the autozone app and they can't find it in the system and needed manager to point it out. Manager busy running cashier and commercial accounts. Parking lot is just one big repair shop, with trash everywhere and dozens and dozens of containers of used oil everywhere. Maybe it was just because it's sunday but still........

Went to auto zone on cathedral in Hempstead today for breaks and rotors. The cashier (young Spanish guy)Chris was very professional and helpful. He even looked up other stores in the area that would have the same products at the same price. Businesses would be a lot better with people like Chris as their employees. Keep up the great work !

George was very professional and was able to make sure I got the right bulb for the right turn signal. He even tried to install it but because of the location, he couldn't. He gave great suggestions of mechanics that could service my car in the area. Great service.

The Assistant Manager, George MacIntyre, provided me with excellent customer service. I needed some immediate assistance with my SUV. He did not hesitate to go above and beyond to make sure that I left the store being able to drive away without any issues with my car battery. He even helped me out with my windshield wipers. I would definitely come back to this store and recommend it to others! Thank you so much, George.

The prices are reasonable and they have been in the neighborhood for years. They always have the items that I need for my car, whether it’s cleaning supplies or for an oil change. They have excellent knowledge staff and they provide great customer service. Today, Alfonso helped me with selecting the best options for what I needed. He’s professional, courageous and knowledgeable… Thanks Alfonso… I’d definitely recommend this Auto Zone to shop for your vehicle needs!

Sanique was amazingly helpful when I went to your location. It was my first time going to the store and she diligently helped me to look for what I was looking for. When she found out they were out stock, she went out of her way to call another store to ensure they have it before sending me. We were grateful for all of her help and were amazed by her service.

The service are very bad in this store , I purchased a battery for $172 , that said free replacement and they did not want to change it for me .
