Spent nearly $100 just to receive a taped up part that was most likely a used and returned part. They used the warranty to get me replacement on the used part they sold me. So terrible service. Unethical
Very quick and very caring helpers here always liked this place, the older gentleman who is also here very knowledgeable and these young guys who were here every now , the older gentleman who is also here very knowledgeable and the young gentleman very quick and accurate, did some shopping and left the battery to be charged. Always a bad experience. Received a rebate gift card, when I tried using it, store had me call a service number to activate, service number said store has to activate it, complete back and forth. That was the last straw. Never again. Bad customer service, no knowledge also.
Kemaul S. was very kind and efficient. Thankful for his service and assistance in changing my vehicles battery- even in the dreadful, rainy conditions. Great service from all employees and are willing to help. Great store!
Came in to the store with just my vin and told them what I needed and brought everything out for me and helped me get a discount that I didn’t know I have and got a bundle deal since I’m doing the work on my own
Kamal (spelling?) was so helpful, polite and kind. We bought a battery which he installed very efficiently even though they were short staffed. I was pleased with the service and recommend this location if you’re in the area.
Very good parts store, went there for a new battery and Tony was very helpful. They were able to provide me with tools to change the battery myself as it was late. I'll definitely be coming back when I need parts.
All advance auto branches are very good mostly which parts etc when you are looking they have in stuck. Employees are very friendly and helpful always.

Good morning I went to pick up new floor mat for my new car, truecar was the only one in the neighborhood that was opened at the early time with the items. The staff was courteous gave assistance as was expected and suggested to email coupons when applicable. I was impressed with the service rendered and the price of the items purchased.
After confirming over the phone that the part was indeed in stock, the guy reminded me to order it online for a 20% savings. Arrived to find another counter guy installing a battery in the parking lot ... for a mint NSX that was older than the kid who'd just bought it.
Good service, and this is the second time this store has had something in stock where everyone else is next-day. I now drive 40 minutes one-way to get here, but it beats not finishing the job on the same day.
Unfortunately, I had to go there twice due to them given me the wrong item twice. I had to waist time, gas and money going back and forth. I will never go there again! Employees need to get much better training on auto parts, so that customers like me don't have to go and waist time for being given the wrong parts! Is obvious the store needs proper help.
Really great Auto parts store in the heart of Hempstead. I stopped by here during lunch one day to pick up new windshield wipers but hadn't any clue which ones I needed or what I was doing. The employee asked me a few simple questions about my vehicle and immediately walked me over to the aisle to show we my options based on price/brand. I'll totally be going here more often when needing to, especially since the parking lot is incredibly spacious and the store being conveniently located. Lines can get a bit long but the overall experience was easy and simple.
Don't bother with a return policy because with the wording I should have been allowed to return an unopened, originally packaged electrical item in exchanged for a better product. I bought 2 and when I found out how 1 worked I decided to bring the second.
Very friendly and helpful staff. They greeted me as soon as I entered and asked how they could help me. The associate looked in the back for the part that I wanted, but couldn't find it. I had a great conversation with another worker while I waited. It was a good experience, even tho I didn't get the part I went for. I would shop here again.
I would advise people who shop at Advance Auto Parts, to take the time to read their return policy before going in. They have a great deal of signage on the way into the store and the expect every customer to notice the sign among the dozen or so other signs in the lobby. If you buy certain things, they are not refundable, even if unused and in their original packaging. Even if you have the original receipt. I just recently experienced this with a purchase. I would recommend shopping at a store that's not out to make a profit on you even if you can't use the items you bought. I certainly understand this now and will never shop there again and suggest you do your research first.
