Can't beat this place, guys in the food truck are aces and the food is great, had the Philly and a couple of dogs wife had a burger which was really good. Bartenders are fast with your order and incredibly friendly, grabbed a bench for our food on the lawn and the owner John came by in an atv and asked if we would like him to start up a fire for us in a pit nearby, guy is a gem to talk to and full of information about the surrounding area. Place is relatively inexpensive for what you get (especially if you are used to NYC prices for everything) worth the trip up from the boroughs. Kid and dog friendly too. Live music was an added bonus.
Such a great place to meet up with friends and just hang out. You can sit inside by the bar, or choose from the many picnic tables and chairs spread out outside. There's a fire pit, some outdoor games. But I do recommend bug spray!

If you are a lover of handcrafted liquors, and want to be really surprised and transported to a different era, well you must go there...
...don't even think about the prices, (wich are really lis by the way), just go there, and let them lead you...
We hosted our daughter's 30th Birthday party here last night! John ( the owner), his mom and the bartenders were great! They literally don't bother you but are available if you need help. Lichelle was more than helpful and so was the other bartender. Forgive me, I cannot remember her name. We decorated and totally gave the barn the feel we wanted..a rustic Shabby Chic vibe! It's a very relaxed atmosphere! We love it here! Beautiful sunsets, yummy drinks!
Daily drink specials, & seasonal options are always different. Enjoy the conversations & education on the place from the bartenders. Food truck Melt is on site- we enjoyed 2 hot dogs ($10) & string French Fries ($7). Sat in barn that had fire places keeping us warm.
Hosted my daughter’s 21st birthday here. The party space was perfect. It was a beautiful day & the outdoor space allowed guests to enjoy the beautiful weather. The staff was wonderful as well, super helpful & accommodating. I would definitely recommend this venue.
My husband and I hosted our Friday night welcome party for our wedding weekend at Orange County Distillery, and it was a hit! The space was beautiful—we didn’t end up having to decorate at all—and the staff were so helpful leading up to and during the event. They even lit some fire pits outside for us so we could enjoy the front yard despite the chilly weather!
Such a great day adventure- the view is gorgeous. We visited the horses across the street. Tried the jalapeño drink— super spicy. Went to the grapefruit cocktail after so refreshing. A local band was playing. Good vibes. Will be coming back!!
Love love love this place!! The atmosphere and location is absolutely beautiful. Perfect for sunsets. Great drinks and food, and friendly staff. You can sit outside and look out to the gorgeous sunflower field, that you can also pick from, or sit inside the barn which has an upstairs also! Will definitely be going back. I can't wait
Attended a wedding / going away party here this past weekend. The decor throughout the place was so cute. There is a little food truck outside but since we had food provided inside, I did not partake in that. Tons of fire pits and fire places. Upstairs has a section full of couches and tables. The employees were all very friendly and attentive at the bar.
Beautiful place! Great beer and the food truck outside was awesome, good burgers and fries, delicious blt on rye and the day we went, they had fresh local corn!
I highly recommend Brown Barn Farms! My wife and I had a great time.there yesterday. The live music was excellent with a new local performer Joe Benoit playing an awesome playlist! Enjoyed some great drinks in an awesome country atmosphere. Brown Barn is definitely one of the best places that I’ve been to in Orange County.
A cozy warm and welcoming place. Some very good cocktails Beer and Cider is hit and miss. Great food truck outside that does a superb job have always enjoyed the meal.try the cocktails-he burns wood with a blow to itch and catches the smoke in the glasses then pours the bourbon in -tasted great
Yeah we had a great time here on a Friday afternoon. No mask by staff but we don’t care. It’s very open and air flow is great. You can spend the rest of your time in the lawn with live music right after your drinks.
Live music according to the bartender is Friday and Saturday night only and they are really good. They were playing 90s cover and we had lots fun. There are firepit and Adirondack chairs with picnic table. We got there around 5pm and the crowd is pretty thin.
Service is good. We ordered a specialty cocktails and got that on instagram. Overall it’s fun chatting with human after COVID. Every customers mind to their own table and it’s pretty distanced.
Price is decent and I heard something about their happy hour which we need to go back to find out. Food is limited and don’t think about vegan. They are mostly burger and fries and wings from a food truck. We weren’t hungry for those. Also leave your drink and food at home. This is not a byob place.
The scenic lawn is what the hype about for this place. On a good day, you get to overlook the whole plain and maybe a great sunset.
Great drinks at great prices. Love the outdoor seating. We brought our own camp chairs. Everyone is being respectful of social distancing.
The perfect weather is also a bonus making this an awesome experience.
Nice clean bathroom indoors too.
I can't wait to go inside. I have tried their food truck outside and then sat in their picnic tables. I really wish they were open more often. And can you imagine if they place some outside arts in those fields? It is a cool concept as it is. The greenery is lovely and their veg stand and food truck addition is a plus. ???
Really friendly bartenders, awesome drinks and liquor, and a great atmosphere. Stay downstairs and watch a band play live, or go upstairs to the loft to get cozy on a couch and play some board games. This place is a nice little gem in the scenic middle of nowhere.
