My kids and I love coming to Soon’s! The staff are friendly and helpful. Locally grown produce and freshly baked goods. This is the only place I buy my peaches! Prices on apples are excellent.

This place is a gem. They have an amazing variety of apples. The cider is so tasty. There is a huge variety of local goods: jam, salsa, sauces, nut butters and pickles all made in house as well as local bread. They have something for everyone, pet treats, fresh pastries donuts and fudge. Our family used to frequent the farm when we used to live locally. We just visited while in town today...they are better than ever!

Lots of this year's apples to choose from. Great staff. Also love the extras like cider and pastries

This local orchard is always a pleasure to visit. Their apples are fantastic, their cider is out of this world, and the little snacks they have in the store are always a treat. Their prices are competitive for other farm stores in the region, but their quality is a cut above. The staff are also amazing. Everyone there is very helpful and friendly. I don't come that often, but I do come relatively regularly (maybe once or twice a month), and despite rarely interacting with the same cashiers, there isn't a person I've interacted with at Soon's that hasn't been very pleasant.

Soon's is absolutely the #1 place to go for cider and doughnuts!! AAAAND they have THE BEST, HOMEEMADE apple fritters! I've been told at other orchards that fritters take a long time and are hard to make, sooooo..... ?❤️YOU GO SOONS!!!! ❤️?

Soons Orchards is such a great place to visit — easily one of my favorite spots in the Hudson Valley! The farm is beautiful, peaceful, and perfect for a weekend getaway or a fun family outing. They have an amazing selection of apples (seriously, so many varieties), and the cider donuts are absolutely worth the drive — warm, soft, and perfectly sweet. The fresh-pressed apple cider is also a must-try; it tastes like pure fall in a cup. The staff is super friendly and welcoming, and you can really tell this is a family-run place with a lot of heart. Between the apple picking, pumpkin patch, and farm market full of pies, jams, and local goods, there’s something for everyone. Prices are fair for the quality and experience you get, and everything feels fresh and authentic. If you’re looking for a true upstate farm experience with amazing treats and a great atmosphere, definitely stop by Soons Orchards. Highly recommend — five stars all the way!

Great local family owned farm! We have done the chefs table dinners there which are well curated and tasty with seasonal ingredients grown on site. Staff is super friendly and there is a great selection of produce and baked goodies. Like most farms in the area gets very busy during apple picking season so try to go on an off day or time of year to get the full experience. Don’t forget to pop in for a drink at the tap room for some hard cider and live music!

Went to this place a couple of days ago not really a fan this place is nice price is okay for the hayride but I dont like the attitudes of the employees in the store aswell as the little stand that sells the food I had ordered onion rings and lemonade for myself and child to share as they are nice size portion I said to the young lady I would like a new one because she had her fingers inside of my cup and her hands were dirty as she was putting in the drink she rolled her eyes not exceptable and I do not like the attitudes of the 2 ladies in the store where the donuts were making smart comments about me when I ordered something for my family there a spanish young lady and a Caucasian lady will not coming back and ashame was my families first time there.

I had a wonderful experience visiting this orchard. The staff were incredibly helpful and kind, making the visit even more enjoyable. I loved the variety of items they had available. There was so much to see and try. Overall, it was a great visit, and I definitely plan to come back soon.

My kids had a ball. Super low key orchard but with cool amenities like live music and a hard cider house. There's icecream and a grocery store with a lil market outside. Young staff but nice people and the Orchard was great, short trees for the kids to fill up the bag.

We went from Brooklyn to Soons Orchard, and with traffic it took us about two and a half hours to get there. Parking was free, bathrooms were available, so that part was fine. There were only one or two photo spots with scarecrows or pumpkins, but I expected more. There weren’t really any activities or games for kids, so it wasn’t that interesting — we just stood under the sun. We tried the apple cider, which was good, and bought a gallon for $8.50. Then we went to pick apples. We bought a large bag for $35, but many of the rows were already empty because other people had picked most of the apples. Some rows with plenty of apples were blocked off with tape, and a worker followed us to make sure we didn’t go in there. That part didn’t feel nice. The apples we picked were tasty, but overall I didn’t enjoy the experience. After that, we took a hayride to the pumpkin field, which cost $5 per person (kids were free). For six of us, it was $30. The pumpkin field was dirty and worn out, with very few good pumpkins left. Most of them were hard decorative ones for Halloween, and very few were suitable for cooking or eating. In the end, there wasn’t much to do besides picking apples and pumpkins. For families who want to spend a whole day making memories and taking photos, this place is disappointing. If you just want to buy some apples quickly, it’s fine. But I wouldn’t recommend it as a family trip. On the way back, traffic was even worse, and it took us about 3.5–4 hours to get home.

Family run apple orchard who serves not just the Public. They treat every customer like family. Pies, donuts, cider, apples, meats, candy, and more. They have activities, drinks, hay rides and plenty of apples to enjoy. Plan a day trip because it is worth it.

Really nice environment. The produce was fresh and delicious. I haven't had their cider but I heard from family members that it was extremely tasty. Their website also states there are no bathrooms on site, but there is a porta potty.

Wonderful afternoon for a hayride out to the pumpkin patch. Fresh cider donuts. And too many baked goods to list all for sale in their shop. Fresh cider samples and cider available for sale. I purchased a dozen donuts, cider, a peach pie and 3 pumpkins and all were fantastic. A must on your list to visit. I nor any of my companions needed a restroom. Definitely a kid friendly experience. 5 stars.

Such a beautiful, calming experience. Come with some time to wonder around so you can try the ciders and the apple pie!! Friday and Saturday, 2-8pm happy hour with the beautiful scenery and country views. Warmy and cozy. Enough parking, check out the market and take some produce home. No bathrooms but super clean porta potty. Very clean place!!

My recent visit to Soons Orchards was a truly delightful orchard experience. From the moment I stepped onto the grounds, the picturesque surroundings and inviting atmosphere created the perfect setting for a memorable day out. The impressive variety of apples available for picking, coupled with the friendly guidance from the staff, made the experience thoroughly enjoyable. The well-maintained orchard added to the charm, providing a bountiful adventure with apples aplenty. The on-site market boasted a diverse selection of fresh produce, tempting homemade treats, and artisanal goods. Unable to resist, I brought home some of their delectable apple cider and homemade pies – a decision that left me without any regrets. The outstanding quality of these products underscores Soons Orchards' commitment to delivering top-notch, farm-fresh offerings. Adding to the appeal were the family-friendly activities and events that provided an extra layer of fun during my visit. Soons Orchards is more than just a place to pick fruits; it's a destination for creating lasting memories with loved ones. In conclusion, Soons Orchards surpassed my expectations in every aspect. The combination of a charming orchard, friendly staff, and exceptional products make it a must-visit for anyone in search of a genuine farm-to-table experience. Without a doubt, I'll be returning to Soons Orchards for more seasonal delights in the future.

What a fantastic experience! We got to sample hard ciders and sangria, the bartender was amazing, we had a snack plate with veggies, fruit, meat, bread and cheeses, we got to sit outside, we bought some delicious chili to bring home… I loved seeing the orchard trees from the road too as we drove past. It’s a favorite place I’ve been to before and I’ll go back time and again! Sometimes limited parking, depending on how busy it is.

First time visiting and certainly not my last! Very friendly employees. Everything is fresh! I grabbed some brownies, chocolate chip cookies and a plain apple cider donut. (Can’t wait to eat them in moderation lol) They have fresh/organic beef, cider, veggies, candies, fudge, bread, cider, homemade chili and much more. Very cute farm with lots to do. As the farms are opening up for the spring, I can’t wait to visit during the summer for more activities and fun! They have live music and a taproom! Ample onsite parking and family friendly as well.

Summer, once a month, family run Farm to Table restaurant. Country Store that includes homemade pies and fudge with a separate area for locally produced wines and microbrewery products. On my list for the longest. If you plan to attend one of their country dinners I suggest you monitor their site frequently. Once a date is released for the month seats are quickly snapped up by locals and repeat diners. Aside from the good food and the good company, I thoroughly enjoy the farm report giving during the intermission by the family patriarch??

This place is great. They have a nice cider on the more sour side, no sugar added. They also sell apples and veggies, along with local meat, and hard cider which is made there. There's a cider pub right next door but was closed when I visited. Excellent cider donuts also available, try them out.

We had a wonderful time at Soons Orchard. I purchased apple cider donuts, cookies, and apple cider. Everything was delicious. I was hungry so I went to the restaurant on-site to purchase chicken and biscuits which was absolutely scrumptious. Apple picking was fun and my granddaughter enjoyed herself.

Super cute farmhouse store with fresh apples, baked goods and cider. Great to pick up treat for the road or gift for loved one back home. Boxed pies in several versions - apple-blueberry, apple-peach, Walnut-apple-caramel, etc. They make hard ciders as well!

Outstanding customer service. We drove from Pennsylvania an hour away and due to the weather missed our time slot and we had a personal drop off and pick up from the farmer himself and took great care in our experience. We enjoyed the real pick from the patch, fresh made donuts, amazing apple cider, great food and fresh produce. We will definitely be back again for our family tradition. Leim was great at helping take great care in our experience and helping us check out our pumpkins!

Super cute country store with plenty of fresh produce and baked goods with classic flair. I recommend grabbing a chicken pot pie from their cooler, delicious! Their apple cider is crisp and perfect for fall. There is also a friendly dog that freely walks around.

Soons is our go-to farm market and orchard, and has been for over twenty years. The friendliest and most knowledgeable folk you'll ever meet work there, available to guide you and answer questions during your visit. Whether you're interested in buying ingredients for your own baked creation, or purchasing one of Soons amazing pies, you'll find what you want and need here. Their store is loaded with local fare ranging from... well... apples of course to jams to vegetables to fudge to fresh apple cider and more. Don't forget the apple cider donuts - they are THE BEST! You've heard the phrase, "like a kid in a candy shop", well, that's how we feel when visiting Soons. There is much to see and do. Don't buy apples from the supermarket, when you can get FARM FRESH right here! Watch their website to see when u-pick is available. There is a special monthly event called "Dinner at the Farm", which is an amazing farm-to-table dining experience. Check the website, Facebook, and join their mailing list for updates. Our children have visited Soons over the years on school trips, and we make regular family visits. Follow them on Facebook, and watch as Sharon "goes live" & walks you through another adventure on the farm :) Conveniently located just off County Rt.6 and I.84 in New Hampton, Soons is HIGHLY ENJOYABLE and HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

This Orchard has a lovely balance of classic Farm Fair as well as perfect things for adults particularly with their own in houses cidery. I would say it is perfectly family-friendly including Dogs. The baked goods and freshly-made cider donuts were particularly good.
