I simply love this thrift store! Its my little gem & treasure
I go here often. Its great for antiques, jewelry, and clothing. Friendly staff and good fun atmosphere. You really never know what you will find. But its never a bad experience.
This used to be my go-to thrift shop. The designer does some phenomenally inspiring displays, and the store is clean and well-organized. It is still all of those things, BUT....I stopped going there regularly many months ago when the prices absolutely skyrocketed. They are charging astronomical prices, and their merchandise does not warrant what they are charging. Twenty dollars for a used, pilly sweater? Broken christmas ornaments, $5 each? Chipped vase, $20? Previously worn, non-designer shoes, $35? Hardly 'thrift.' They also appear to be much more selective in what they accept in an attempt to appear more 'boutique,' but this has simply eliminated the fun assortment that thrifters enjoy browsing through.
The atmosphere in the store has changed and is no longer the fun, lively experience it used to be. Such a disappointment. I went there a few days ago to confirm that things had not improved, and sadly, they haven't. When I commented to one of the employees about my concerns, she acknowledged and mentioned several changes in managers. I prefer to shop where I know my money is going toward a good cause--which it is here--but when it's no longer fun to shop, what's the point?
Also, notice in browsing the reviews here that the shop only responds to the 5-star reviews; would love to hear their response to shopper concerns.

Love this place and was looking forward to shopping here today (Thursday) only to drive up here for 30 minutes to find them closed for a special event for a few days. PLEASE keep your site updated when you are not open regularly scheduled time. Thank you.
I wasn’t expecting such thoughtful curation at this thrift shop. The prices were reasonable, and the visual merchandising was especially impressive. Many treasures to be discovered here!
I use to love the Juniors Leauge thrift shop but ever since they remodeled, the prices don’t feel reasonable anymore. I use to come in for dresses and skirts but the prices have gone up by so much on regular brands like Loft, Gap, etc. It would be better to just buy from the store for a little more but at least it would be new and getting your moneys worth.
Theirs only clothes for older people and I found a champion sweatshirt for 40 DOLLARS. And it had stains and sharpie on it. Originally 20 dollars!! They shouls get more popular brands
I went in for a lamp last week and left with 3 stunning vintage huge prints for $20 each! Been looking in antique shops forever and my shock was evident in my amazing finds! Love this place ❤️
The shop is very cute. It has fitting rooms that you can try on apparel. They have the main level and a lower level. All is organized and prices are labeled. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. They take donations as well. Relatively fair prices on merchandise. I will definitely be shopping here often or at least coming to take a look here and there. You can join a "loyalty" program. There are no perks except for the alert you on different happenings in the store. Thanks for the experience, I've been wanting to come here for a while. I will see you again soon.
Wonderful experience. Bought a great antique desk that just needed a little love at a crazy great price. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.
This shop needs to bring back the staff member who was in charge of their window/shop display that was employed before pandemic. I understand they just reopened recently due to pandemic and a flood at location, but this is the 2nd time I've come here and am disappointed with their ugly displays!! Most importantly, the merchandise is nothing to talk about. I used to love coming here almost every week and find great things, many pieces with tags and designer pieces also. Now they are selling junk that have worn looking clothes. Previous staff would not put out junk! And why on earth would they place dowdy menswear up at the front of the store. So disappointed!
Cool thrift store with super cheap and reasonable clothes. Got a practically brand new pair of boots for only $7.50! Bringing my friends to this place next time!!!
My first time experiencing this LOVELY place! I hit the jackpot today with jeans and cargo pants. Also, I shopped accidentally on their 50% sale day. Got 6 pairs of jeans/pants for $30 and a T-shirt for $0.50. Even on a non-sale day their prices out beat Island Thrift any day. They have a customer loyalty punch card program that earns you 25% off once you fill the card. Located in a beautiful location as well. Clean, organized, and well stocked with clothing and houseware. Will definitely be adding this to the list of regular thrift shops I visit!
Very nice secondhand store. Absolutely the best managed I’ve ever seen, it feels like stepping into a luxury retailer upon entering. The prices are extremely reasonable and all the available items and clothing are immaculate. The volunteer who checked us out was so friendly, and she told us how much time and effort she had put into renovating the building where the charity is located. I’m grateful for all the work that went into providing such a luxury experience for those in need of secondhand goods.
Not so accommodating for donations! I called, nobody answered. Went on the chat about wanting to make a donation. Got a response that they take high end donations. Went to the store and was told donations by appointment only! I was about to leave and go someplace else, but decided to go into the store. The young man behind the register was friendly and accommodating. DON'T GONATE WITHOUT AN APPOINTMENT!!
For the person below who criticized the store’s protocol for accepting donations during a pandemic- its a pandemic, and just like any business, they have to follow regulations for their and your safety. Particularly during New York’s 2nd wave. Don’t leave a bad review for a fabulous store because you think you’re being personally inconvenienced by a deadly global virus.
Really cute, well organized thrift store with lovely staff. There's lots of women's clothing to peruse and furniture downstairs. I found a bunch of lovely scarves for $3 to $10!
This place used to be a great place to donate clothes and other articles. It has since become a nightmare. I have tried to donate beautiful suits and nice clothes recently and have been blocked at every turn. First tried to drop off and told I need to make an appointment. then tried to make an appointment know one picks up the phone. Then I get someone on the phone and they tell me I have to wait three weeks before I can get an appointment. Really! There are so many people out there that have nothing and this is the response from a thrift store. I will be finding other places moving forward.
Clean, fun shop with great products and friendly staff! The windows are always amazing! A great place to pick up clothes, books, home furnishings and especially baby / kids clothing and toys at very low prices for great quality. The JLLI is fortunate to get terrific donations from local residents and businesses and they do an excellent job of merchandising and pricing everything to sell. Stop in every week to see the latest items!
This little shop in Roslyn has been one of my favorites for many years. You never know what "gem" you'll find! This visit wasn't to shop; it was to drop off a donation of all sorts of lovely decorative items I have loved through the years, but I decided to share to help the Junior League do the great work they've been doing for years! It's a special time of year to be giving.
