This is a excellent place of business but with good open space and seats to wait for your car while it's being worked on or diagnosed. Laughter, talking, and good positive vibes is usually the response that's been reciprocated throughout the years thats has plenty long-time customers becoming like family and good friends and stopping by to speak with Kip and the crew even if their car is in perfect running condition and nothing needed but a good laugh or to schedule an upcoming appointment

Great repair shop. Local spot. Family friendly. Honest repairs reasonably priced. Pretty busy some days. Just pull up in the driveway and they will take it from there. Open Saturdays.
Kip is the best. Honest, efficient, and trustworthy. I live in the Bronx and have been coming to him for the past 5 years. Wouldn’t go anywhere else. Definitely worth paying the tolls.
This company does not even deserve one star. They were extremely unprofessional. I had called them on Monday telling them my car wasn’t starting and they told me they would be able to come out to me between 9 and 10 Tuesday morning. I had to call them Tuesday because I hadn’t heard from them by almost 10 and they told me they would be able to come to my car by 1 then they just kept pushing the time back. I had other things I had to do so by almost 5pm I told them that I needed to reschedule to Wednesday and they said they would be out to me by noon on Wednesday. And of course I just kept getting excuses from them all day on Wednesday and they never came out to my car. I would not rely on this company to help you with your car at all. They really only spoke to me through text and the only time we spoke on the phone was if I called them. And I was having to reach out to them constantly to get any updates on when they were going to come out and help me.
I have been a resident of Valley Stream for over 25+ years. When I moved here I needed to find a trustworthy auto mechanic since going back to Queens was out of the question. A friend recommended Kips auto service. Kip is like family. He repairs only what needs to be repaired. He won’t try to up sell you on stuff you don’t need. I trust him with my Corvette and my family cars. From major repairs to state inspections, Kips is the place I would recommend.

Has been fixing my car for years if I don't do it myself and I am a qualified auto mechanic. Recently repaired the air conditioner in my Jeep Grand Cherokee. Had to remove and replace the complete dashboard the job's done quickly reasonably priced and perfectly. My wife said it is the best money we've spent in years. I am so totally impressed I think it's even better than when the call was New.

Been there a few times, Mr Kip doesn't make you change things you don't need. He puts in good parts so you don't have to go back and have it done again. The price is very reasonable.
