Let me share my personal experience: I have been there to sell my vehicle. I got a price through TrueCar from the “Father & Son Auto Corporation which was a decent amount. I ran my car through TrueCar I mentioned all the details of the car like little scratches and dents and based on that I got a price. After I took the car over there and the guy inspect the car from that dealer and the guy was telling me that he can’t give me a price!! He just literally insulted me. Even though, I drove the car from Brooklyn to all the way Long Island at Father & Son Auto corporation. Which is took me over an hour! I felt like he’s being rude with customers and don’t know how to handle the customer. It just totally scammed and I would recommend not to go anyone or be cautious from that dealer!!

I had such a great experience selling my van to these lovely gentlemen. They made the entire process less overwhelming and seamless. Their price was by far the best from the four dealers I went to.

My mom has used this repair shop for 20 years and was always happy until last week. After bringing her car in for an inspection in working condition she was told it needs to be driven more. She then took the car out and it was smoking and overheating. She asked to have it towed to her trusted mechanic but was told they have no room. My elderly mother was treated extremely rude. She was called nasty and told not to come back by a man named Ed. The father and son have always been great. What has happened to this business?

Had an amazing experience selling my dad’s car to them. I sold them my late dad’s 2013 kia forte. It was a wonderful and painless experience. Mike and John did all the DMV paper work and within 15 mins, the car was sold and a check made out to us. Highly recommend selling your car here, fast and easy transaction with very nice guys!

I wouldn’t take my car anywhere else, the owners are nice, easy to work with, and you can tell they really care! They communicate very well, and keep you informed throughout the entire process.

If you need a mechanic look no further. I have been coming here for over 20 years. They are honest and do great work. I recently moved further away and late one night my husband's car broke down AAA towed it to a local shop. This shop was not equipped to deal with transmission problems so they had their "transmission guy" come in. 48 hours later we get a call saying they won't even do the job because it would be about $7000.00 and would be a waste to put into a 2010 car. We had it brought back to the house. Not knowing what to do I called Father and Son's and talked to Eric he told me to have it towed here and he'd look at it. Within mere hours he found that the electrical plug had somehow gotten wet (spilled soda in the cup holder?) and caused corrosion sending incorrect signals to the transmission the transmission itself was fine, he fixed it up and gave us an amazing price. I don't care how far I moved I will never take iour cars anywhere else again.

Mike, Eric, and the crew are the best in the business. Mike took time out of his busy schedule to work with me on my vehicle trade/purchase and answer all my questions. I was coming from 4 hours away to buy a vehicle and inquired about the vehicles' condition as to not have a wasted trip. He described the vehicle to me over the phone and eventually upon arrival the vehicle not only met my expectations, but exceeded them! I have used father & son auto for many years, I have purchased (6) vehicles from them in the past (10) years, from a convertible sports car for my wife to a dependable economy car for my daughter to use for school. These guys really go the extra mile to make sure all is well including a full service repair shop. They diagnose & fix the problems. No runaround like I’m sure we’ve all witnessed from other shops. I drove past Father and Son and i saw about 10 cars and trucks for sale so i decided to stop in and look as i need to buy a car for my daughter. The owner, an older short little guy was with a customer so when i approached him i said i was looking to buy a car and i wanted to look at the selection he had. He said what kind of car are you looking for and i told him a small SUV or something similar and he said he had nothing like that. So then i said i would like to look around and see what kind of cars he had, so he asks me how much do I want to spend and i replied it depended on what type of car I was looking at cause they are all different and price would be indicative of the car i am looking at. He looks at me and says well we dont let customers walk around the lot and look at cars. How is a customer supposed to buy a car if you cant walk around and look at the cars up close? The lot is very small and i would have been within 20 feet of the little guy at all times. This guy was so arrogant and rude I dont know why anyone would want to do business with him. It costs nothing to be civil with people but obviously this guy does not have the strength of character to treat other people with respect. I would not waste my time going to Father and Son .

Honest place, Fair prices, solid work. The owners are very knowledgeable and friendly, they get work done fast and don't beat you up on labor costs. But again, most important, they're honest.

I purchased a pre-owned Kia from Father & Son last year, and I wanted to put in a review for them because I love my car and I really do appreciate this business. My father was a long-time customer there for all his car maintenance and repairs, going back to at least the early 1980’s. He stayed with them because they were trustworthy, skilled, good people. Since I came out here to take care of my elderly mother, I’ve continued to rely on them for maintenance and repairs. When my Dad’s old car finally died and I needed a replacement fast, I literally just looked at what Father & Son had, checked Kelly Blue Book, and bought this ’04 Kia Sorento. It was pristine and under 50k miles and I’ve had it for 8 months now and it’s been perfect. I love this car. I was speaking to my parents’ neighbor the other day, and they too have been using Father & Son for years. Not surprised. Highly recommended business.

I just purchase my second car from them. They did everything possible to make me happy. The car had 60k miles and they even replaced the timing belt for me because they were not sure if it was replaced. Highly recommend them.
