One of the worst customer service experiences, very disappointed with a couple of the technicians concerning their overall demeanor, very disrespectful. First time customer and certainly the last. There a many other automotive business i can support without the attitude.

Made an appointment for 830. I come in 825 and I told there is two other cars I front of me so it will be a few hours before they can even look at my car. What is the point of making an appointment if they are not going to get you in with the appointment.

First time customer at this location and using Pep Boy services. Not sure what to expect, but know this location has been there for years. Reason for visit? Needed 4 new tires for my Toyota RAV4. Did a LOT of shopping around for shops and the type of tire. Found Cooper Adnenturer All Season. Very impressive 3rd party ratings. Pep Boys web site easy to navigate and allowed me to have an exact complete final price quote on the 4 tires, installation, balancing, and taxes. Mechanics at this shop were easy to talk to and gave straightforward professional support. They quoted a time of 1.5 hours for the work to be completed and almost to the minute, they had the job done. I was anxious to do a test drive to see the tires preform and how the mechanics balancing of the tires worked. I was pleasantly surprised. Tires were terrific and the balancing was excellent. I think I've finally found a dependable, reliable, professional, affordable mechanic and repair shop. Cars are very complicated today, full of high end equipment and very complicated computers. Labor is VERY expensive and parts can be expensive, but Prp Boys looks like they've found a niche and deliver on all levels. I would recommend you do your research and see what I found in great service and pricing at Pep zboys in Franklin Square, NY.

Rude manager. Employee said we could use a coupon and when it was time to paid, the coupon was refused! We spent 4h there to have tires changed. Avoid this place.

Second time I brought my car in for an oil change and both times the cap to the oil filter was "missing " and had to pay $100 for a new one, had to wait an hour for part to be delivered. Staff didn't seem to care, had to ask them a few times when the part would be delivered. Then they tried to sell me new filters for another $100. Will never use pep boys again!!!

Got four new tires installed & a wheel alignment in a little over an hour for a very good price. The courtesy vehicle inspection was a nice bonus. I'm grateful there was no pressure to add on services. Would recommend.

THEY JUST CHECK A/C ON MY 2016 HONDA PILOT. 1 HOUR LABOR. $.600.00. CAR STILL BLOWING HOT AIR BECAUSE BAD COMPRESSOR BUT THEY CHARGE ME ANYWAY. MY FIRST AND LAST TIME GOING THERE. DRIVERS....... DO NOT GO THERE. (A/C CHECK $.600.00)

I purchased four Continental tires for my 2021GV 80 the people at Pep Boys were very very courteous. The service was outstanding. I also got my veterans 10% reduction on the price of my tires. I would recommend Pep Boys to anyone

Thank you for all of your help yesterday with my oil change and service. Rowen who helped me when I called to make an appointment and to the very end of my service. Rowen and the staff went above and beyond to help me when my car wasn’t registering and calibrating the oil properly. They also fit me in for an inspection that was done in under 40 minutes. Very pleased with my overall experience at this Pep Boys!

I got pulled over one fine Saturday morning by the Garden City popo because of a non-working brake light. Immediately drove to this Pep Boys to have it taken care of. Getting your car repaired is never fun but my recent experience at my local Pep Boys was excellent. The tech walked me through the entire diagnosis and repair process and because I needed a part to be ordered I was kept well informed of what was happening. I would like to point out the excellent professionalism and service by both Zach and Arvin. They were terrific.

Fast and friendly service at this PepBoys location. I came in for a NY state inspection of my EV, and they had it done in about 20 minutes. Sherwayne (I hope I spelled that correctly) at the front desk held it down for me. No pressure, no up charging. It cost $10 for the inspection of my EV. Definitely would want to come back to this store to get my tires replaced.

Probably the most pleasant tire install I’ve had, ordered the tires online and set up the appointment online as well. Arrived the day of the appointment and within a couple hours the job was done. Sounds simple but many places can’t handle it. Hats off to the team there

A huge thank you to the Pep Boys Team that serviced my son’s ‘14 Camry today. I called from Georgia inquiring about purchasing tires and he was so kind and patient and listened to me as a female. I purchased 2 tires online and they help me with scheduling his appointment for the next day. My son, who’s in college at LIU, was assisted by discussing and showing him the 4 needed tires vs 2 and reviewing his brakes. All this with me on speaker phone asking questions. Once again, they were kind, patient, and thorough in helping me understand what was needed. I was sent pics through the app of the tires and rotors and the work was performed with me paying online after the work was completed. Thank you to everyone for ur service today. It was greatly appreciated by this long distance, nervous Mama!!!!

I had a wonderful experience. I brought my car for an inspection at 9 am and was finished by 9:15 am. It only cost $10. I have also brought my car in for repairs and had similar experiences. I highly recommend them.

My first time visiting this pepboys was last year to get somethings worked on for my work vehicle and they didn't disappoint me this time when I brought my personal vehicle as well. I made an online appointment and was finished with all the work within about 3 hours. My car feels like new when driving. And the staff were courteous and professional. They told me what needed work but didn't push it on me and try to make me get more work done. I'll definitely be back to get to completenthe rest of the work they recommended to me.

The service team at the New Hyde Park Road Pep Boys are professional, courteous, honest, and customer- friendly. The service advisor spoke in a manner that communicated trustworthiness and care for the customer. I brought the car in without an appointment to have a tire puncture repaired. They did an excellent work for a very reasonable cost. This Pep Boys location was recommended to me by my friend, and I highly recommend this same team to others as well!

I’m a regular oil change customer and found out from my BMW dealer I needed 2 control arms replaced. I stopped in and they were so helpful and professional. They inspected the thrust arms and said they could do it that day saving me $600 off the dealer price with BMW OE parts. I drove off 4 hours later very satisfied with the quality and professionalism of the staff.

I have been going to going to this Pep Boys location for years and I can say, without a doubt, that car service here is top-tier! I'm a first-generation student, the first person in my family to hold a driver license (and drive) ---- so as you can imagine, being on road and navigating car issues is intimidating but the servicemen at Pep Boys make everything easy to understand and seamless! I am especially grateful to Rhoan, Sherwayne, and all the mechanics who ran a diagnostic before my car's annual inspection and brought me back to the work shop to take photos (and record) what they found. Above all, I am soooo grateful that they were able to fix my detached car key -- which had snapped off of the key chain months ago. Thank you Pep Boys for looking out for us and working hard to get back on the road! ^_^

No complaints here. I have been going to Pep Boys for over 10 years. It never matters which service center I find myself in, the work is constantly done well, completed in a timely manner, and reasonably priced. Customer service is excellent and service center managers honest. As a woman, it's nice to know that my car is being serviced by technicians that I can trust.

Great location! Andrew handled everything with professionalism and clarity. The only thing I would suggest is asking customers for wheel locks rather than touching everything in the car and causing a mess.

The worst Pep Boys customer service experience. Deplorable customer service. Spoke with Andrew at the front desk. He was the rudest person. I had spoken to someone prior to coming, and arranged to get tires installed at a discounted rate. Andrew did not want to fulfill that arrangement and said, "I can only do it if you pay, otherwise it can't be done." Andrew proceeded to ignore me when I asked to speak with the manager, and lied stating that the manager left the premises. However, I saw the manager, Raj, who said that they can do what was originally promised with installing the tires. It's a shame that a place with nice management has such rude, unfriendly, discourteous people working here. After waiting there for over 3 and a half hours (had made an appointment) my tires were installed. 🤞they don't fall off the car, and were properly installed. Update: The following night one of the tires went flat.
