For many years, I have been a customer of a competing auto parts store. I am happy to report, Auto Zone of Floral Park has made a positive impression. Store Manager Jose Hernandez Flores is very helpful, polite and professional. His assistance with Auto Zones "Battery Testing Program" was much needed and appreciated. The store is very clean, well stocked and has plenty of free parking. I recommend you give this location a try and you might be fortunate to have Jose or one of his other polite, knowledgable staff assist you.
I had a really positive experience at the AutoZone on Whitney Ave in Floral Park, NY on 3/19/26, thanks to Karan. When my car battery died, I came into the store feeling pretty anxious. I’m confident with most things, but cars aren’t my strong suit; usually my son helps guide me.
Karan immediately put me at ease. He was patient, knowledgeable, and took the time to walk me through my options without making me feel overwhelmed. Not only did he help me choose the right battery, but he also went above and beyond by assisting with the installation. What really stood out was his thoughtful and caring approach. He made sure I understood everything and felt comfortable with my purchase. Because of his excellent service, I even ended up buying a few additional items I hadn’t originally planned on. I left the store feeling relieved and grateful. Karan truly exemplifies outstanding customer service; well done, and thank you!

I came by today to buy a battery for my crv and had to come by twice because I bought the wrong battery size. Both times were around closing time aswell, round 8:45pm and then 10 mins later at 8:55 pm. I was originally helped by a lovely young lady named Shermona I believe ( I apologize for getting the name wrong as I did not see it), who was very curteous and helpful. She was attentive and took the time to show me different options. She was excellent and prompt. After realizing that I purchased the wrong battery, I came back and was helped by a gentleman named Michael. He was very helpful, and is also very curteous. He was handling 3 different customers, 1 of whom was a bit difficult due to a language barrier but he still took the time to acknowledge us and let us know that he will be right with us. Excellent customer service from this gentleman. From both actually. Michael impressed me with his polite, personable and kind nature. Overall I am happy to see this auto zone open in such a convenient location and it was very clean granted it's only been a week that it's open. Either way I have no complaints. I've been to other auto zones like up in Hempstead that straight up suck. The service was trash. These 2 reps were excellent especially since it was minutes before closing and they took the time to help out every customer even after 9 pm. That is awesome. Keep up the great work. 👍🏽.

I live walking distance from this newly opened AutoZone, happy to have one so close by that I can go and grab tools and parts without jumping into my car. Great helpful staff, clear and stocked!
I recently visited the newly opened AutoZone in my area and I couldn't be more impressed! The store is clean, well-organized, and fully stocked with everything I needed. What really stood out, though, was the manager. Super knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely eager to help—she made sure I got the right parts for my car and even offered some helpful tips. It's clear she cares about both the store and the customers. This AutoZone is a great addition to the area. Highly recommend!
