Not a huge place, but more reasonably priced than most places closer to Albany and the owner was friendly and helpful while also giving us space to shop around.
so I went to this antique store to sell my 14k bracelet to get money to spend time with friends for Valentine’s Day and the owner was absolutely rude saying I was probably selling the bracelet for drugs when I don’t do drugs and he thought my little brother was my boyfriend and this one girl there wanted to look at the bracelet and he told her not to buy it from me cause I’ll use the money for drugs. I don’t recommend coming here to sell anything cause he will accuse you of using drugs or some other substance.
We visited November 2025, really enjoyable inventory, fair prices, nice personnel. Definitely want to promote good antique-oriented businesses like Settlers Block. Recommend at least 30 mins if you're ok poking around all the shelves and surfaces.
There was a very friendly shop cat acting as the door greeter, which I absolutely loved. The store is nicely organized and prices are reasonable, and there was some mid century and 1970’s wall art that I liked. We were passing through on a road trip and the owner gave us good advice about things to see and told us about the Native American history of the area.
This is a great antique shop. Owner very nice gentleman. The cat is friendly and the fish are huge !! That all being said, this is a great antique shop right in the heart of downtown Canjoharie. They have 2 floors of treasures and are just steps away from another shop call Brotherhood. So if your looking for some antique whosewhatsit, or just browsing around, stop in check it out. Don't forget to ask about the screaming pickle?
