Place is really good and friendly. And I do love how on most days they can always squeeze you in if you call ahead of time. I usually go in to get oil change, batteries and electronics checked, wheel alignment and more. These people are very professional and usually always have something on promotion or sale. I usually take my car in every 3 to 4 months and always get everything checked but 90% of the time I usually know what is wrong with the car but just to be on a safe side I always get everything checked
The only thing that is missing is ESPN or some sports network playing in the waiting room, unfortunately it’s usually soap operas that are playing and I’m just not into that drama stuff.
John showed us a couple of tire options for our truck no pressure. Once we decided on the tires they had them on and us ready to go within an hour and a half. Everyone there was very pleasant and polite. I'm just glad they were able to work on our 1 tonight hd truck
I have only had positive experiences when coming into the shop. From tires and inspections to air conditioning repairs and replacements. Donovan and Keith recently spent a lot of time repairing the air conditioning in my car. I have not had AC for years. They did such an amazing job and it is absolutely wonderful to have a working AC again. I will definitely continue to return to them in the future.
I brought my car in to have two new front tires purchased and mounted and an oil change. The second I pulled out of the parking lot there was a loud clunk clunk clunking noise that was certainly not there when I pulled in. I immediately turned around and went back in for them to address the problem. The managers response was exactly what one would expect from a shady used car salesman, not their problem.
We argued for a couple minutes, politely, and it became clear he wasn't going to budge on his position. He wouldn't even take 10 minutes to put it on the lift to check what went wrong. Well, He broke me down and convinced me that it was purely coincidental and likely happened because I put drilled and slotted rotors on the car the day before I brought it in, and that those were designed for race cars and were pretty-much a one and done product. He noted that the rotors were already all scored and gouged, after just one day of driving? I gave him the benefit of the doubt and tucked my tail and left.
The next day I took the wheel off myself at home and found the problem immediately upon removing the wheel. They removed the old stick-on balancing weights from the inner hub of the rim and used the clip-on type on the outer edge of the rim. And with each revolution, the weights were whacking against the strut causing the clunk clunk clunking noise. No biggie, an honest mistake and a likely rare occurrence. But the rotors were still like new and were not in the condition he claimed they were in. And no, as it turns out, upon consulting another professional, they are not one and done strictly for race cars. They're simply a high performance upgrade that are fine for my car.
So all he had to do was put it back up on the lift and replace the balancing weights. Ten minutes work. A minor inconvenience to simply stand by their NAME instead of taking not one ounce of responsibility.
Sorry but I can't recommend them.

See the response below? I fallowed through and sent them all relative information as suggested by Jason, the owner. Then he said that a regional manager will call me in a couple of days to resolve the problem. That was nearly 2 weeks ago. This is really no surprise to me. Also, I failed to mention in the original post that I was overcharged nearly 100 bucks because I didn't review the receipt until after writing the original review. At this point I honestly rather not deal with these shysters. I'll suffer the financial loss. Changing my two star rating to a one star. Do yourself a favor and don't take a gamble with Firestone.
I recently woke up with a flat tire and quickly had to make a decision to replace all 4 tires since they were aged and wouldn’t likely last me another winter. We easily chose Firestone because of their reliability and service. They got us in that same day and my husband worked with Desmond to find the correct tires and coordinate times. He ensured we got a great experience and was very easy to work with from start to finish. He and the staff went above and beyond helping me save what could have been a bad day! I walked out before 5pm with all new tires!! Thank you for a wonderful experience!
Firestone is the best place to get your car fixed and done right and the guys in there are awesome and respectful in our concerns about your problems with the car issues so Firestone is going to be the place I always bring my car to to get repaired or just for an inspection or an oil change thanks guys at Firestone You're awesome
Been using Firestone for quite a few years and they've been pretty good specially the one on West ridge road had two tires put on since then had issues with balancing feeling shaking in the tire cause shaking in my steering car had to go back for the second time they sent me down the road didn't have time to check the other tire very disappointed on the car went back the second time for the balancing of the passenger side why didn't they check the driver's side to make sure everything was balanced right on other side I paid for balance and I paid for the tires and now they inconvenience me by having me drive back and forth back and forth to deal with the balancing
I was impressed the first time I had my vehicle serviced! The facility was nice and clean. They explained everything to me. I am 82 years old and they were very patient, caring and knowledgeable! Plus, I truly trust them. My experience with them has always been professional. I want to thank you now for my future visits! God bless you!
The staff, from manager to auto tech are all excellent. Instructions are relayed and followed with no loss of communication between myself and the tech doing the work. They are timely, and everything is handled correctly. I began my Firestone experience at a different location. There is a big difference in quality even among Firestone locations. These guys have it together.
By far the best location in rochester. Service was excellent, allignment was dead on which can be rare from the other locations.They even replaced my missing stem caps, its a small gesture,but shows how much they pay attention to detail.

Service was fast, I had made an appointment online. Front desk was friendly and I was able to get all my requested services completed, with no hassle and no attempt to uncharged. As a female customer i felt safe getting my service done here and will return in the future.
NYSI. They said it needed outer tie rod to pass. I approved to get my NYSI.
They also quoted $1000+ to do front wheel bearings (pressed).
I was able to find FULL. My actual DIY cost was almost $700 less for a 2 hour repair. Complete knuckle assemblies were $150 each.
4 stars because they did not charge me addition diagnostic and got me back on the road quickly.
These guys are the best in the ROC. I won't go anywhere else, they're courteous, helpful and polite. They also got me done in less than an hour. MUCH BETTER SERVICE AND WORK THAN THE DEWEY LOCATION! THAT location should be shut down. But this one, is a gem.
I booked an appointment for tires then they came out and told me that I needed rear brakes. That I only had a two left on them and in 300 miles they were going to start shaking. I took it to my dealership and my rear brakes are just fine . Beware especially if you’re a woman going in there by yourself they’re gonna take you for whatever you have, I wasn’t that stupid to fall for the game.
My car broke down on the side of the road and I got it towed to the nearest auto store which was this Firestone. I have never been to a Firestone but the people there were absolutely amazing. They diagnosed it the next day and helped me through my next steps. Wes answered all my question and made me feel so relaxed about the whole situation. I highly recommend them and I highly recommend asking for Wes!
The service manager was polite and in tune with my needs. The price was very good and the process of replacing four tires only took one hour. Being available on a Sunday was also a plus.
My first attempt was at the Dewey avenue shop on 6-27-2024, after 1 - 1.5 hr and a couple other angry / upset customers also waiting I left never to return to that one again!!! I had an appointment set for Monday, 7-1-24 at 9:am for a front end alignment at the West Ridge- Greece location. I got there for said appointment and the parking lot was FULL with at least an hour wait. I rescheduled for the next day (7-2-24) at 9:am. I was in and out in 45 minutes!!! Awesome employees there, very kind and great attitudes. West Ridge is now MY go to instead of Dewey which is NOT far from where I live.
