Place has gone downhill since when it opened Inventory doesn’t change much , many items are overpriced, and more and more of the inventory is stuff you would not pick up by the side of the road ! Very disappointing - we aren’t coming back nor recommend them anymore. Sad to say !

I want to buy all of it! This place is huge, I thought I had seen all of it, and then found out there's twice as much in the basement.

Terrible experience. I bought a $250.00 chandelier and the employee there removed the bulbs from the light and said that it would cost me $5.00 each for the bulbs although they were in the light when I bought it. The tag did not state that the bulbs were not included. They also cut the plug and wire from the chandelier so I could not plug it in and left me with one foot of wiring. I plan on reporting my experience on all social media platforms and telling all my friends. What kind of customer service is this ? None at all. They stripped the chandelier down to nothing and sold it to me. Did I mention that they removed the glass globes as well and tried to charge me extra for them? DO NOT BUY FROM THIS STORE.

Love this place. They actively look for historic period homes and remove what they can to help others repair their homes. Prices can fluctuate. Lots of artifacts and vintage pieces you could even decorate with. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Parking is in the rear and the drive is next to the building and narrow. Be very careful exiting onto Ridge Rd. There is a large painted door for a photo in the rear as well. It is a large building with a basement full of stuff too. I have a '46 cape and they had some parts I needed to keep it as true as possible to the period.

Weve been going to rehouse since its opening. Staff are helpful in trying to find what you need, give suggestions as to alternatives... products range from handles and knobs to tin ceilings. I purchased a suite of kitchen cabinets that fit perfectly in my space. But Ive bought artwork, birthday cards, tile, light fixtures, a radiator, doorknobs, locks, and more. Its a local store and i am really happy to support locally owned business.

These folks have incredible customer service! They helped me for over an hour find all the right pieces to match an antique door lock, and then I forgot the knob in the store when I left and they shipped it to me so I didn't have to drive back. I am so impressed with and appreciative of their inventory and knowledgeable staff. Thank you ReHouse team!

If you're looking for anything antique . A screw for a hurricane lamp. A beautiful stained glass. Trim piece, tile, trim anything. They have it! Staff super helpful . They know their inventory. Fair pricing. Wonderful to just walk through. Also, artisans repurpose items into art or household furniture. Fun place to walk through.

WOW! Where to start! This place is huge! Staff is very knowledgeable and friendly, selection is amazing and always changing. My fiance and I needed a specific style of vintage door (no longer made) for a repair to our 1930's era house. After having no luck in the Buffalo NY area, we took a chance and drove to Rochester to see if we could find a door that was "close enough". Imagine our delighted surprise to find that they had not something "close" to what we wanted, but exactly what we needed! They sell both original and reproduction materials in a well organized store. On a scale of 1 to 10, this place rates a 1000+!

I do recommend this place and will most likely patron it further as there is limited selection for these items today. My wife and I love 20s-40s houses and have owned a few as we’ve moved through the years. ReHouse is usually our go to stop to purchase odds and ends, particularly light fixtures. We’ve purchased 3 absolutely beautiful chandeliers here and they’ve come with us to each house we own. If you have 1” hardwoods or gumwood trim and may need to replace them - this is your place to go. Recently I feel the pricing needs a bit of work. Well maintained display pieces are one thing, those command a hefty price - but when I recently purchased two door handle plates and one glass door knob for close to $100 - that’s a bit much. I returned the items and purchased ones of similar or better condition on eBay for literally half the price. I’d like to support a local business but I do not like throwing money away. If I wanted to spend top dollar I’d just buy repros on house of antique hardware.

Don't miss the basement! I found that a some of what I was seeking was seen down there and the staff didn't mention it when I asked for certain things. I came with measurements, etc. and the young man who assisted us knew exactly what hardware we need, helped us load it, etc. I was very pleased in general though I was looking for certain items that weren't to be found there. That's the luck of the draw, though, you never know what you might find. I'm sure there must be turnover. Fun antique store next door, too. Prices reasonable.

I could have spent days in here. So many beautiful gorgeous antique items for your home and beyond. Absolutely huge space. You could get lost. Seeing so many beautiful "salvaged" pieces in one space reminded me how superior home building was. They definitely don't make anything, like they used to.

Truly incredible place! The store makes buying an old house seem manageable when they have every odd and end available- from doors, knobs, tiles, wood planks, etc. Great selection and amazing staff!

SO much to look through. I browsed and did not purchase but would come back when I have a solid idea of my needs. I love the concept and mission of ReHouse. Store is much larger on the inside than it looks and is well organized/clean. Staff is accessible and friendly.

Great finds spent over $2,000 on lights, doors and a sink to upgrade a 70s ranch house in Pittsford

I could spend an entire day at this place!! So many beautiful pieces and potential beautiful pieces. Wonderful, friendly and helpful staff. We've made many purchases here and will continue to in the future. My favorite purchases has been my cast iron, white enameled kitchen sink with a left sided drying area.

Most unique antique store around. I love going in here and seeing things that I used to see at my grandparents, brings back so many good memories. Sometimes you'll even see some columns, a door, or a stairway from an old local building that had been remodeled. Its super cool being able to add a piece of Rochester history into your home.

Took them a box of stuff including some porcelain door knobs from my basement clean-out, they gave me a handful of money. Easy transaction. If you have old house parts you know you won't use, I implore you to take them here. They can have a second (or third) life on someone else's home. Those complaining about price clearly don't understand quality of materials and matching aesthetics. Will be going back.

This place does not disappoint. You'll go in just to look and walk out with the perfect item for your project. Today was a door - we knew it was going to be an odd size we needed, or a solid door we could modify to fit the space. We found one not only in AMAZING shape, it was already cut to a size we coule use AND it had this beautiful ribbed glass. A quick wash and oil and she will be beautiful for years to come!

This place is truly unique and awesome! If you are looking for something special or something to repurpose. We purchased an old shelf to make into a desk for my husband. We originally went looking for a door but noticed the prices here were a bit out of our price range. Note some items are priced high but you can find some great pieces. This is also a huge store it just seems to keep going and going.

Excellent place to visit I was thrilled to see so much there, just as good as a museum, better than some.

Was in re-house today for the first time! I Met Sally. She took me on a tour of the store. As a business owner myself I was very impressed with the inventory and creativity going on. Such a large area so organized. Loved it!!! Colleen Hayes

While I Appreciate all the hard work it takes to collect and preserve that fantastic history of inventory, many items are not clearly marked and unfortunately the prices boarder between obscene and obnoxious. Sadly I'd only go to look or to salvage ideas. It's a must see, but unfortunately, that's all. If you feel the need or are well off enough to drastically overpay for items you could also fine on Ebay, yard sales or on the side of the road you may want to just preserve your own time. Sadly a bitter sweet experience .

What an awesome place! If you have an older place in need of some hard to find parts, or even just want to add some interesting details to a newer house, or just want to spend a few hours looking around at SO much cool stuff, this is the place! Staff has always been friendly and helpful, too. Fun place to visit!

Amazing selection of salvaged materials, clean and well organized. Best place of this kind that I've visited. Tasteful selection of goods, reasonably priced. Bought a lovely front door with sidelights, Eastlake hinges...delivery available, very happy customer!

Love ReHouse! Always fun to browse their inventory of vintage finds. I recently remodeled my bathroom and found perfect molding that they cut for me. After cleaning it and painting it, it was a beautiful frame around my existing (huge!) mirror. I also found an awesome set of bathroom fixtures (knobs for hot, cold and waste). I had my handy man mount these to my bathroom door for robe/towel "hooks"! That's what I love about this place, you can really have fun and be creative.

This place is amazing. We spent a couple of hours walking around and getting ideas. We love the concept of recycling, reusing and celebrating history, Re-House embraces this wholly and beautifully. The store space is meticulously organized and displayed. My boyfriend owns his own business restoring and moving historical barns, he was incredibly impressed with the inventory and organization. The staff was ever present and knowledgeable, but not overbearing. My only request to the public is, if you're bringing young children in, please have them respect the items they can reach and touch. Watching two kids between 7 and 10 years of age beat on the piano while the parent dismissively walked around was frustrating. Perfect opportunity to teach our young ones the value of items we can reuse and re-love!

Amazing store! They carry new and preowned items for your home. From hinges and doorknobs to doors and antique furniture. If you need to find an item to fit the era of your home, they have it or will help you find it. Great staff! Highly recommend just stopping to browse.

I enjoyed my visit here. They have lots and lots of stuff. Not bad in the pricing either. Don't be fooled because the space inside is gigantic so it may look somewhat empty at first glance inside but once you start moving through you find more than youd ever imagine!

This place is amazing!! I've been there a few times and got exactly what I was looking for, one of the things ended up being free! The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable too! If you are looking for anything, whether it's a fixture for your house or home decor, rehouse has it.

As a new homeowner, this is my new FAVE store! I've found a variety of items for our 1837 house that fit perfect for the time period, even some interior French doors in an odd size! The prices are great as well!
