I called and set up an appointment the day before, to sell my old car for salvage/parts, everything went smoothly and I didn’t have to do anything but show up with proof of ownership.

In 1995 I bought all the spare parts from Northside when I smashed up my 1985 Chrysler Reliant. My dad and I fixed that car up in no time. To be honest I contacted quite a few places prior to reaching out to Northside. Regarding a 2010 Ford Explorer. I was given such a hard time and a inquiry of questions, what's wrong with? it Why are u getting rid of it? How is the catalytic converter? Being rude and. Abrupt with me. I called Northside they asked me about the vehicle and said they were on the way. They said 1 hour, but they were there in 30 mins!!!! That was all. When they arrived I was not available as agreed, they were courteous and professional, they waited for me and they were also polite and friendly!!!!!!!! Great service, very professional and quick response. I explained my situation and need to the staff who responded my call, soon after our conversation, I got a call back from their driver who would pick up my car, very decent and professional, to let me know the time of the pick up. Everything went well and very smoothly with the whole process, got paid a fair price for the car. I had the car cleaned out by the time the driver got there. During the process, I was unable to get some old CDs I had in my car CD player, and their driver was nice enough to give it a jumpstart and got the CDs out for me. I would recommend them to anyone who may need their service.

Sold my daughter’s minivan with a blown engine to Northside Salvage. Called 2 salvage yards and Northside offered the best price. They arranged the pickup quickly and paid me on the spot. Then I was done. They loaded the car on the truck and left. It was easy and quick and everyone in the office and the truck driver were very friendly and helpful. I crashed my car a couple years ago. At the beginning of this year my husband said it had to go. So he call Northside Salvage Auto Recycling. They asked did it run and did it have all the parts. My poor car, an '09 Honda Accord, had to be salvaged due to the badly rusted undercarriage. And the tire rod is broken. Well, after sitting in my driveway since April 16th, I decided to get rid of it. I searched Google and found Northside. I got a quote and accepted the offer. Everything went great. The driver handed me the money, hooked up my car, and he was gone within 15 minutes from start to finish! I'm giving a 4-star instead of 5 because the driver arrived an hour later than the appt time, which made me late for an appt. Other than the delay in arrival, I will suggest Northside to anyone who needs to junk their car.
This was a very easy transaction. I had the title of the car signed and ready and the car was ready to be picked up. The appointment had been made with a four-hour window, but the driver called beforehand and asked if he could come early. That was no problem. The flatbed driver came, checked the title and loaded the car. Within minutes, he and our once dependable car were gone. There's a lot of good parts on that car. I hope they're used well.
