Everything was seamless from the initial call to the pick up. Communication was prompt and courteous. The tow truck driver arrived at the time scheduled and was very friendly. I would highly recommend.
My sister junked my car without permission she did have to show ID, when I called to get it back I was told he would charge me $1500, they only paid $500 for an E150. I then called back lass than 15 minutes and he told me it was crushed, mind you when I called the first time he asked why I wanted it back. There is no way they pulled parts and crushed it just that fast. This was a working operating van that they kept for themselves after learning it was junked illegally. Northside is BAD BUSINESS

After my sister's car broke down on her way home from New Jersey to Toronto, she asked me to help junk the car. Finding an auto Recycling yard in New York tuned out to be very stressful because the car was registered in Canada. Many places refuced to take it. Some wanted to us to pay expensive towing fees, and others said the title has to be transfered and would cost a lot.
I was so relieved when I found Northside. Mike was wonderful and guided me through every step of the process. He was knowledgeable, patient and made what could have been a complicated situation incredibly easy. Everything was handled professionally.

Fast response/pick up, no gimmick. I offered to sell for $200 & they gave me $250....complete honest service, great attitude, highly recommend to any one willing to sell their vehicle. Tow man pulled up, I gave keys & paper work, he gave me cash & I was gone, yes indeed that simple. Don't delay, sell your junk with them 2day.

I had two vehicles picked up in the same day 20 miles apart, Luka helped me coordinate the times that were most convenient for me, he even saved me a trip by allowing a third party to sign for the vehicle that was 20 miles away. His communication skills were great (patient, precise, easy to understand). Jessica at the office was also great. Tony has the worst customer service ever. She’s all nice when she’s making the sale but when she gets you the wrong parts she has an attitude and wants to hurry up and get off the phone with you and won’t want to help you get the right parts. I own 3 shops and have been dealing with yards for a very long time and have never experienced service this bad! And I’m still waiting on my refund. Which I called 3 weeks ago and she said she processed it but never received!!!

To be honest I contacted quite a few places prior to reaching out to Northside. Regarding a 2010 Ford Explorer. I was given such a hard time and a inquiry of questions, what's wrong with? it Why are u getting rid of it? How is the catalytic converter? Being rude and. Abrupt with me. I called Northside they asked me about the vehicle and said they were on the way. They said 1 hour, but they were there in 30 mins!!!! That was all. When they arrived I was not available as agreed, they were courteous and professional, they waited for me and they were also polite and friendly!!!!!!!! Great service, very professional and quick response. I explained my situation and need to the staff who responded my call, soon after our conversation, I got a call back from their driver who would pick up my car, very decent and professional, to let me know the time of the pick up. Everything went well and very smoothly with the whole process, got paid a fair price for the car. I had the car cleaned out by the time the driver got there. During the process, I was unable to get some old CDs I had in my car CD player, and their driver was nice enough to give it a jumpstart and got the CDs out for me. I would recommend them to anyone who may need their service.
Sold my daughter’s minivan with a blown engine to Northside Salvage. Called 2 salvage yards and Northside offered the best price. They arranged the pickup quickly and paid me on the spot. Then I was done. They loaded the car on the truck and left. It was easy and quick and everyone in the office and the truck driver were very friendly and helpful. I thought the process would be long and difficult but they got it done within a couple of hours from the time I called.
