Horrible store. Can't even get in the parkinglot with the dollar mechanics trying to repair your car for you. Lots of signs saying no working on vehicles in the parkinglot and these guys have the parkinglot full of vehicles they are working on for cash. They even directed me where to park. The security guard at the front door was busy on his phone.

While the inside staff was very, very helpful I have to give this location @ Utica Ave & Rutland Rd a minus 5. I don’t understand how the store manager allow so many individuals to block egresses trying to ask customer to do their veh repairs. Gheez. It results in the parking being very trashy and un inviting to enter. It’s liken into harassment. I will be contacting the corporate office.

This is the worst AutoZone in Brooklyn every time I go here you’re there 10 minutes or longer the sad part about it is you see so many workers and no fast movement the line is always long and their services are horrible. They used to have a young lady that worked there with glasses on Light Skin with a very disgusting attitude. They actually had the audacity to transfer her to Atlantic Avenue and Utica at the Good location now that location will turn bad ,so her mouth is reckless and she’s very disrespectful so I just wind up going to Strauss that’s the better place to go. I strongly suggest you do that too. Don’t waste your money in AutoZone. They are slow as hell Utica Ave., Rutland Road.

It's good if you're just buying fluids, bulbs, wiper blades, deodorant trees or similar items. 80% of the time I get sent to the autozone on utica because the parts I need are never in stock.

If you are a female and you go to this place with an issue with a battery, they DO NOT make any effort to help you to take out the battery or install it.... And once you join that line and say what the issue is, you have to go outside and hopefully find someone willing to help, but when you return, no matter how long the line is, you have to rejoin from the back. The older guy is kinda rude but they say you can't teach an old dog new tricks.

Unlike most other AutoZone stores: rudeness and bad attitude left and right.

Staff is knowledgeable. Service at times can be so-so, but if you can get past the attitudes, you can get what you need

purchased a battery, Sale staff talks to you like you are a nuisance in the store. Checked my old battery say its no good. I bought one and the sale staff say he does not have a staff to install it. I saw 3 sales people in the front. Andre is the staff...UPDATE: The response on this website is truly abysmal. The customer supervisor just replied "we are sorry and the same for the owner of the store." They dont truly care about customer service they just want to make an impression they doing something to rectify the issue on paper" That its... Never will buy from any autozone. Employee laziness is off the charts...

I am a disabled 49 year old female mechanic on my death bed. I have been doing humanitarian services at my expense professionally since 1997 til now. My only joy is to see poor people have a brighter day. I carry professional license in NYS Security Guard, Real Estate Broker, Fireguard in 2 classes of assembly indoor outdoor, run 3 churches in NYC, and Massachusetts, I have a certification for natural hair, score a GPA of nearly 4.0 in every subject I touch. Those are only 1/3 of my current jobs. Safety is my goal and keeping the public steady when I'm around. Ask anybody, and can't out give me or God when I'm at autozone. I drive people in the worst weather conditions possible, meaning no one is stuck, no matter the distance. When I'm at AutoZone, I'm at home until employees like Danelle F. and the companion security guard decided to verbally, mentally, and socially want to demean me and my existence as a human being. I'm the type of lone worker who minds my business and stays out the way. Today, this happened first time being assaulted like this and placed in embarrassment publicly but ongoing disparity. The constant duress of this woman and man is hurting my soul. 7=9 years I suffered this pain from AutoZone 575 Utica Ave. Because I'm different, a Black Disabled Woman trying to preserve the little life I have left. These AutoZone seem to believe threat of arrest and threat of being shot by security as he threatened to do to me because I hold my beliefs close and stand on my business (es) will not get rid of me. My mechanic family is out their and the public. All of that drama they caused today over me cleaning their parking lot of 1 inch thick oil and grime something I do anytime I'm around free of charge. I fell 2 times in their oil pile ups. Their oil spills drain out for miles better yet to the footstool of God's house across the street where I pray. These chemicals cause diseases, cancer, respiratory issues, and other characteristics of bad health to the public and I. Prevention is what AutoZone has been lacking these past 9 years. AutoZone never cleans up. I carry gallons of used oil piled up and left to rot knowingly. When Danielle F. Told me I didn't work for God after decades of being under Him. I called it the last straw. Snatching my phone, sratching my fingers, cussing me, discriminating against me, trespassing me, telling me I am not a customer and some more evil coupled with the guard and the gun has made me think what is God going to do for what they did and are doing to good people He cares for? She assaulted me in many ways not just on public property and called to have me put away because I didn't have a will to bow to her and her companion guard. Such evil came out of AutoZone against this past decade and would like the public to watch for my safety. My church and people surround the community that I deeply care about. There is so much money I spent in that store. So much money they made through me and other mechanics recommendations unappreciated. Yes, I drown in sorrow because I am human, and as often as her clicks/guards in the store, I don't want to service me, reason unknown. I remain God's child, and if He sends me to AutoZone, you will learn to keep your hands off my mind, soul, body, and businesses. Being attacked for doing me. AutoZone, give me your reason for Danielle F. and her co assassin guard against a handicapped woman doing her own thing, even contributing to cleaning up your vast environmental hazards, which AutoZone doesn't have a regular cleanup schedule in non-existence. Accosted me and battered me by teams. Any advocates available? Clean Up at 575 Utica Ave.

I had a disappointing experience with Paul H., the assistant parts manager. I visited the store at 8 PM on a Monday to seek assistance with the check engine light checker. Although there were no other customers and three employees were present, Paul initially informed me that the machine was not working. Shortly after, he contradicted himself and advised me to return the next morning at 9 AM due to being short-staffed. Throughout our interaction, Paul maintained a hostile demeanor despite my polite approach. His misleading explanations and unprofessional attitude wasted over an hour of my time, as I had to visit another AutoZone. This type of service is unacceptable and reflects poorly on AutoZone’s management standards. AutoZone must improve its management training.

I went in for a part to complete my oil change, which was paused due to my filter being stuck. Because I had made multiple trips to the store for my roommate’s car the previous day, I went straight to the counter to ask for assistance to be extra sure that I got the right tool. When I approached the counter, I told the person all the context—what the issue was, the make, model, and year of my car, and that I wanted to be sure I got the right tool. The person I spoke to immediately asked who was doing the work on the vehicle (I was). He told me to go to a professional, discouraging me from doing my own labor, something I have done on my own vehicle many other times. I asked him specifically why I should go to a professional multiple times and he deflected everytime. He did not answer a single question I asked until I started raising my voice. When he finally started to look up the part I needed, he asked me for the make and model of my car, which I already provided him from the jump. I had to raise my voice, repeat myself over and over, call him out for gaslighting, and advocate for myself really hard for something that should’ve been a very simple process. This experience was extremely upsetting and traumatizing given it was an obvious display of sexism. People regularly do maintenance on their own vehicles, as they are entitled to, especially in this economy. And it’s apparent that AutoZone knows that given their “loan-a-tool” program which is so people “get the job done right the first time.” Aside from that incident, the checkout process is incredibly inefficient. We had to wait in line for at least 20 minutes for what was a maybe 3-minute-long exchange process. It appears that there is only one checkout station/person who is trained in returns/exhanges/etc, so the line stretched to almost the door while the other two registers were unused. I do not recommend visiting this location, especially if you are a femme-presenting person/woman.

This place needs better workers in some areas. I called about a reservoir for my BMW, i gave all pertinent information and they said it was not in stock here or at the Atlantic Avenue location. I then asked for the steering pump, they had that in stock. My son looks it up on the computer to compare prices, in plain sight it says Autozone has 1 in stock. I call back, give them the SKU number, and they have it. I ask the total, then asked them to pull the items as I'm coming to pick them up. I get there, tell the worker at the register my name and that I'm there to pick up. She tells me to go to the line where you "order" items. I go over there, explain again that I called in advance and I'm here to pick up, they tell me to go back to the line I was on previously. After all of that, they gave me the incorrect steering pump!!! Incompetent to say the least. This is not the first screw up from this store. I keep thinking, different worker possibly a better outcome. Nope. One time I went for spark plugs, my car is six cylinder. The worker proceeds to give me 4 spark plugs telling me that my car is only 4 cylinders. Don't work at a place you have no knowledge of. How are they being hired with their poor work ethics. Now I have to go return the pump to get the correct one all because of their screw up. I definitely want to see how the manager is going to handle this. They had the year, make, model, AND VIN number! This place needs to close down or get better employees. I'm seriously thinking, maybe if they were put on blast to the news channels to do a report on this place of business, that would shake things up. Fox 5 loves to shame places, possibly causing loss of sales. Keep giving generic responses with no real help to your customers. You'll soon be out of business like Strauss.

Worst AutoZone I have ever been too. I placed an online order that was ready for pick up. When I arrived I was told order was not ready after placing it hours ago. I was told i have to call before coming to store which i though was absurd. 5-6 employees behind the counter whom were all terrible and don’t deserve the hourly wage they get. No one wants to help and when they don’t have the answer they walk away from the counter. They prioritize battery charging over 12 people waiting on line to check out or return an item. Manager was too busy flirting and explaining his whole life story instead of tending to customers that were frustrated from waiting. Not a single parking spot to park. All in all worst AutoZone. Someone in corporate should oversee this location religiously for accountability.

Run don’t walk from this location. I gave one star because that’s the lowest I can give. This is the absolute worst Arizona have ever went to for the manager, screaming in the lobby and there being no proper signage. To me standing online and no one helping. Multiple employees standing around while customers wait to be helped. I wouldn’t recommend the store to my worst enemy. Please don’t come here.

Great service from ANDRE C. (Assistant Store Manager). He actually knew what I needed and knew what he was talking about. AutoZone need more people that know about cars like Andre.

The employees here have to deal with a wide range of customers with a wide range of issues with their vehicles. Not the happiest customers to start with. I was promptly assisted with my issue and the part fit my car perfectly (rear windshield wiper for a 2010 passat). Price was right, part was good. No complaints. Thank you guys for your hard work and positive friendly attitude.

I just harassed by security while waiting for Auto Zone to open up. 10 minutes prior to them opening I was approached by a security guy who parked his personal car a Mercedes Benz without a handicap placard or plate indicating he’s a handicap parked in the handicap space. Why do I have to leave the lot while waiting to go in when they open?? Why is this man who’s in the wrong by parking where’s he’s parked telling me to leave the lot when I need to buy things for my car? What did I do? I informed the manager of the harassment and I apologized to the manager that because of this security guy that I would not be doing business with that particular place anymore.

This Autozone is an ok place to go, they have tons of products, i love just going up and down the isles thinking about the work I want to do on my car. However this location is in need of an overhaul, something needs to be done about its outside appearance especially the parking lot, and from the review's it seems that they might have an issue with the staff, my own experience with a women possibly in her 40's who works there might validate this to me, I was looking for windshield wipers for my truck which she gladly helped me search for, Unfortunately they did not carry what I needed so I asked her if I could use the next size up which they did have, instead her reply was "You cannot ask me something I do not know" in a dismissive tone, If that isn't the dumbest thing I've ever heard, 1st of all she was wearing an AutoZone shirt which means you are supposed to be somewhat knowledgeable about car parts and accessories, I think the job requires you to answer people's questions LOL, and how in the world is anybody supposed to know what you know unless they ask you. She was rude and it was unesscary. All in all there are better auto parts stores around, go somewhere else if you can
