Brought my SUV there after another shop could not diagnose what was causing my car to fail inspection. Brought they SUV there in the morning by mid afternoon they called and explained exactly what the issue was and what was needed to repair the problem.

I've owned a low mile BMW E36 M3 now for 14 years, and have high standards for this car. I've used other well known, (if not famous), independent BMW and German car shops in Ridgewood, Mineola, and Oceanside over the years. But it's the guys at MINHS, particularly, Jason, Christos and James, who have managed to earn my trust and repeat business with their customer service, passion, competency and attention to detail. Believe the hype. These guys are great.
Oryginały I had an appointment at bmw dealer but I didn’t like their reviews and 2,5 stars and the attitude the lady had over the phone. So I was searching for a place that specifically take care of German cars I came across this place made an appointment online. When I arrived they were super nice and place is clean. They super detailed with everything give you heads up what needs to be done and what can wait not like other places. They are honest. I think this place is worth a try if you don’t want to get ripped of by some mechanic and if you want your car to be taken care well they are def a place to go. I had a good experience. From now on this is going to be my place to go.
Because of a parking accident, the clear plastic cover on one front headlight of my 2019 VW Golf wagon was cracked. Mostly the damage was a scratch but at the center of it, the crack went clean through. No piece of it was broken or detached, and the interior space remained immune to water leakage. But the headlight unit would have to be replaced at some point, and the unit alone was expensive, close to $2000, not counting labor. When I contacted VW dealers, they quoted by total costs near $3000 and their explanations were jumbled (perhaps because they were communicated second-hand by someone other than the mechanic or shop-manager). At MINH Automotive, my call was taken by the shop manager who looked up the parts list (two required items) and explained why the unit was expensive (basically, it electronically controlled separate smart-bulbs for turn-signals and front-lighting under various environmental conditions). He quoted a price that was more exact and a bit less than the dealers' quotes. More to the point, he gave me confidence that the price was honest and that the job would be done right.
I typically do not write reviews, but I grant an exception in this case as I am extremely pleased with the level of service I received at MINHS Automotive. Joel and the team conducted a thorough diagnostic of my vehicle, and I appreciated the detailed inspection report, complete with clear recommendations and supporting pictures. Their transparency and professionalism made me feel confident in their expertise. Highly recommend for anyone seeking honest, quality automotive care. I will definitely return for future service.
This place is the best. You walk in, you get greeted, they serve you, get you out, do things when they say they will, they do them well, they do them well, at a fraction of what the dealier charges, they do them on time and they communicate. I will never go to a dealership ever again and will only return to this place exclusively. Also, Joel was phenomenal!
Minhs stands out amongst many shops because they are a cut above the rest. From service reminders, appointments online, free multi-point inspections with photos sent directly to your cell, service recommendations/history logging, Carfax updates, 3-year service warranty included on all of their parts/labor, transparent pricing. You know a shop is ran well just by looking at how clean and organized everything is. The service managers are amazing and they send you comms throughout the entire process and will take the time to explain and diagnose issues (shout out to James!). They’re the gold standard and the ones I trust to look after my SQ5.
I brought my 2020 Mini Cooper for a few minor issues I was having. Matt was super helpful both over the phone and in person. He listened to my concerns, gave me helpful advice, and took care of everything for me. My car ended up just needing a transmission oil change, which they took care of as well as doing a complimentary car check. All in all, 10/10 experience.
I like the way these guys take the time to inspect the vehicle and tell you exactly what is wrong with it, including videotape. So you can see exactly what the problem is. It also puts my mind at ease knowing in advance. What the charges will be. I will not be taking my vehicle any place else
MINHs does an excellent job repairing my older Audi A6. They are honest and reasonable about what needs to be replaced / repaired vs. not. Far better experience than any dealership maintenance.
They did a great job, went to like 2-3 garages before and they couldn’t fix the check engine light I had in my car , keep making me buying parts and I couldn’t see results. So Thanks to MINHS Automotive garage, they fixed everything and now my car working like brand new .

100% the best experience I’ve had. These guys are honest, kind, fast and really care. They took the time to explain the issues they found with my 2006 Range Rover in a way that was clear and easy to understand, without any pressure to make unnecessary fixes. Cannot recommend them highly enough!

joel was great very patient answering my numerous questions and explaining in detail the issues that needed to be addressed. he also reviewed the overall multi point inspection of the car. minhs is a repair/device shop that you can truly trust.
Shared on Yelp too - but was easy to book online even though it was my first time at MINHS. I checked in with Joel and he explained everything clearly/concisely. The pricing was great, the service was friendly - this place exceeded expectations and I will be back when the Volvo needs it!
These guys are great - both in getting time set up for service but also for keeping posted on what they do, what they find and how it needs to be addressed. Far better experience than at dealership tbh.
I have been going MINHS for about 5 years. I have always been very happy with their service and professionalism. I love the fact that they guarantee their repairs for 3 years. How many auto places do that? Having a 15 year old car, I’m glad I found this place! They keep it in tip top shape.
Minh’s has been my go to since the warranty on my GTI expired. Excellent customer service and nothing but honest and good work. Adding to my review after a few years of being a customer - 6/25 the PCV valve they replaced a few years prior had begun to fail, sending oil into the intake under boost. True to their advertised warranty it was replaced with an OEM part free of charge. They’ve given me reason after reason to continue giving them business and you should too!

Today I had the brake rotors and pads replaced on my BMW 3 Series. The entire experience was excellent. All the staff were very friendly and professional. A special shout-out to Jason—he really knows his stuff and was very helpful throughout the process.
The quote I received was even a bit cheaper than what the BMW dealer offered, and they completed everything the same day. If you're looking for reliable and knowledgeable service for your German car, I highly recommend this place!
I brought by 2017 Mercedes e300 and they fixed my issue with my turbo with speed and very clear communication. Pricing was also reasonable. Miller was my point person and was very helpful - I would highly recommend this shop (there is a reason this place is so highly rated) especially if you have a European car and was struggling like me to find a reliable mechanic.

This was the second time I had my 2010 BMW 328iX serviced at MINHS Auto. I went back to them because these guy's are great. Everyone and anyone I spoke to over the phone was very knowledgeable, besides being patient, kind and courteous. I am very pleased with all the work that they performed and have absolutely no complaints. The repairs on a car like mine is very expensive, but MINHS auto prices are very reasonable, especially compared to a BMW dealership. I hope I have no more problems with my car, but If I do, I know that I have MIHNS auto to take care of it. And that gives me piece of mind..Thank you guy's, each and every one of you.

Had my BMW M performance 2 series get a Dinan suspension and exhaust upgrade here. They did an outstanding job and kept me informed with status updates throughout the day while I was at work. They were trustworthy, resourceful and transparent with me throughout the entire process.
After talking to the mechanic who worked on my car, I could just sense his enthusiasm and love for cars. It just seems that these guys really take pride in the work that they do. For someone who also takes pride in his vehicle, I will be coming back again.
