I started a delivery subscription a couple of months ago and it certainly has saved $$ as I order at least twice a month aside from occasional inshore shopping. Overall, the staff does a fine job picking my orders, with few bumps (such as 2 scrawny artichokes @ around $4+ each. I preferred their meat dept going back, but their marinated chicken wings (varieties) are a consistent winner.

A store that is posting discounts but when you come home and verify your check u dont see no promotions discounts! It happened not once , not twice but all the time ! I dont understand why u advertise discounts if you dont introduce them in your system!?

Whole Foods has the best foods I have found in all of Brooklyn. I my opinion it offers the best choices of all the stores I have been to at reasonable prices. I love it.

They discriminate against people with disabilities here. On one occasion, they kicked me out only for having my service dog with me, humiliating us both. A second time, they waited until I had finished checking out—after I had spent my hard-earned money on their outrageously overpriced groceries—before signaling that they might call a manager. Again I was humiliated, and traumatized with an empty bank account. I would like an apology from management and a safe space to buy groceries.

Good vibes in here, employees are very nice. Don’t get the kids aromatherapy roll-on it smells like feet! $8 for feet smell in my opinion. I recommend the lavender 365 brand one instead - smells great

They are very strict about bringing a folding bike inside. This is the only place in the city I can’t bring it in. Strollers, shoes, carts are all just as dirty. I understand not having a full size bike in, but a suitcase sized bike? Seems unnecessarily restrictive.

Shockingly bad customer service. I went to exchange some milk that was in date, and opened this morning, but was bad. We had ordered via the Amazon app for WholeFoods to deliver (WholeFoods is owned by Amazon) just a few days prior, but the lady on the Customer Service counter, and her Manager, refused to exchange it, because I had to CALL Amazon and request a refund through them, and they would facilitate (actually I think I was told by WF they would refund my money and not require me to return the bad milk, and just toss it out). If you've ever had to deal with Amazon returns, you know it's not a quick and straightforward task. This milk costs less then $10, WHY can it not just be exchanged? I know it's your policy, but your policy is obviously ridiculous. ENSHITIFICATION has now affected WholeFoods, and of course Amazon, but seriously, just do the right thing and take care of your customer. Absolutely terrible experience that so easily could have been avoided if the staff had ANY clue about customer service, but no, they hide behind 'policy' to avoid it. EDIT: In response to the owner... so now you want me to follow a link and then go through a convoluted feedback system, to then find the appropriate phone number, and call you so you can look into this further? Do better. You can email me if you truly do want to investigate further (gmail:evoluzione) Thank you for the quick response though, I am slightly impressed with that...

Waited an hour for the cafe to open because we were told it opens 12:30 and when we went the workers were insanely rude saying “yeah they lied to u we’re not open” with the worst attitude ever. the barista stood behind her with a nasty face and didn’t even speak up for her self. definitely never coming here again, their hours are so inconsistent and they have very unprofessional workers. go somewhere else for drinks…

the security guards here are so aggressive and disrespectful. so is the supervisor of the security guards “alliance” or something. just be aware they’re rude af. apparently it’s a “courtesy” to park a scooter inside the lobby area. i was never told this out of the many times i have been here. now all of a sudden it’s not allowed? the security there was very aggressive with me and then 2 other men surrounded me trying to tell me the same thing. terrible location. will not be going here ever again.

What a lovely supermarket. A little pricey though. At least to me since I don’t work 12hr shifts 6 days a week (and God bless the man who does.) It has a seating area, bar, bartender, amazon return area. The supermarket even sells expensive clothes. And it has an amazing parking lot. The place looks more like liberty Science Center than a supermarket!

I really want to give a big shout out to the prepared foods manager, I didn’t get his name, but he’s a black man with glasses and he’s a great manager. Very kind, and professional. I came in looking for my favorite family meal platter, and he was able to locate one for. Fresh as always. Thanks again!

This is my preferred Whole Foods location in comparison to other ones located in Manhattan etc. Place is cleaned and well stocked. It's usually not overwhelmingly busy in-store so you can actually enjoy your experience of walking down the aisle and looking at what's being showcased. This is a 3-star rating only because I have always enjoyed coming grocery shopping when I am by myself or with an adult. However, the last few times I've come with my child I have felt unwelcome/unaccomomdating. This by far is not the treatment I experienced by the entire staff - some have been great. But there have been some who have left a serious bad taste in my mouth that I'm not sure I would want to come back anymore. 1st example - I was checking out at the self checkout. I had a basket of items, and a stroller with my then few months old baby. As I'm unloading my items I was told I was not allowed to use the self checkout because I had a stroller and I'm taking up too much space. At this particularly location the employee is stationed at the head of the line and the actual self check out registers. You have to actually pass by them in order to use a register. If this was true, 1. Why are there no signs, 2. Why did they not say anything as I'm on line, and as I'm passing by them, and even up until I'm halfway through my transaction? My stroller by no means was in the way of anyone exiting the area or blocking the aisle. I was using the last register all the way at the end, and the stroller was pushed to the side. 2nd example - I was with my toddler who has ASD and we are done shopping. We are in the parking lot unpacking. Any parent can tell you if a child wants to, they will and they can, squeeze in and out of the most impossible places. He was refusing to sit in the cart, and I could not put him down on the floor in the lot. I know I'm not supposed to so im not clamoring or justifying it, but I put my child in the cart for the quick few min I needed to load my car. He was not in the cart the time we were shopping. The security guard comes and harasses me about how he's not supposed to be in there. I get it. It's wrong. He's not unsafe - I have my foot holding the cart and we are leaving in 2 min. All I'm asking for is some grace and it wasn't there.

Love love Whole Foods! Reasonable prices and fresh produce and good quality protein. Lines go by quick. The staff is awesome!! The buffet tastes decent. I did get the rosemary chicken and 2 sides. The chicken was dry, asparagus was not great but the mash potato is a hit!

Pretty good, has almost all the groceries I need. Only thing I don’t like are some of the hipster and older people customers there. You can tell they give entitlement mentality when they walk and just shove you instead of saying “excuse me” or walk around. Happens almost every time I come here.

Lots of diverse food items. Traffic in store is a little chaotic, but checkout was a breeze. High quality meats, fish and poultry. Service was excellent and associates were friendly and helpful.

Good food and produce selection. Prices are often reasonable. I like that you can pick up and return Amazon packages. Also like that the customer counter accepts plastic bags for recycling. The store can be crowded, even during what should be off-peak hours. And that’s not just because of other customers, but also the staff, who frequently act like customers are in their way. I once saw two staff members laugh at a disabled man who accidentally knocked over some items with his motorized scooter. I also wish management would enforce their own “no smoking” signs outside. See lots of people smoking on the benches right next to the signage, including sometimes store employees. These would otherwise be nice public spaces for the community.

Been coming here for the past 8 years & it has changed/improved since. 1.parking is always nice to have but during peak hours is not fun. 2.produce section is always stocked & great quality! 3.meat/fish have great varieties & good prices! 4.grocery is somewhat fully stocked but aisles are cramped especially bc of the Amazon shoppers. 5.bakery has a good selection but I’ve noticed they minimized their department & no longer sells items I used to buy. 6.self checkout was added & is v convenient 7.second floor is Amazon returns & seating area. 8.undercover security are always lurking watching you. Yes ik it’s their job but I was told to take my child out the basket cart & followed me until I did, Horrible interaction & experience. 9.customer service can improve especially when answering questions over the phone. One time I called & I was told to call back in 5min… I was so confused. Overall a lovely store :)

This Whole Foods it’s probably one of the better ones that I’ve seen in my lifetime chuck full of good stuff. I love the hot bar with hot food and soups. The soups are delicious. I like to get my bread and dip it in soup I get the NaNas chicken noodle soup it’s delicious. You can also return your Amazon returns here as well so simple I’m funny. The staff here was very friendly and knowledgeable. There are some stairs to climb up, but do you do have the option of using the elevator to get the second floor, ample amount of parking this whole food is one of the better ones.

I stopped by Whole Foods Market on 3rd Street in Brooklyn to pick up some essentials for Thanksgiving, and the experience was seamless. I scored a great deal on an apple pie, originally priced at $13.99, but discounted to $6.99 saving me $7! I also grabbed a carton of low-fat milk for just $3.99, which was reasonably priced. The store was well-organized and had plenty of seasonal options, making holiday shopping a breeze. The staff was courteous, and checkout was quick, even with the pre-holiday rush. Overall, Whole Foods delivered a convenient and pleasant shopping experience. I appreciate the discounts and look forward to returning for more holiday essentials.

The ultimate grocery store ever built in the city to care for your favourite taste. Amazing and delicious foodstuffs in common not to compare.

This Whole Foods is the most beautiful grocery store in America, very possibly the world! It has its own gorgeous park with benches right over the storied and iconic gowanus canal, once a putrid disgusting waterway which has since been cleaned up The shop is immaculate. Everything is well-placed. From the moment one enters, your immediate needs are placed at the forefront: vegetables and fruits, followed by seafood and meats and then finally other stuff we dont really need but may just want. I’m impressed at how well-thought out the product placement is. Whoever designed this shop deserves an award. Even the produce here looks better than produce elsewhere, shinier and prettier. The atmosphere is zen and customers for the most part are in great spirits too. The parking lot outside is beautiful with mini wind turbines and massive solar panels. I visited this shop multiple times a day during the pandemic because its such a nice store. These days I live in an outer borough so my less frequent trips are valued even deeper. I even got mugged on my way here and stopped in nonetheless to catch my breath and gather myself. Its a special place. You’ve set a high bar for grocery shopping WFG, now I compare most places in NYC to you. I’ll go to other WF and say, sure its nice but its not Gowanus Whole Foods Gowanus: you’re my favorite thank you for making grocery shopping so fun yet zen.

Beautiful, huge supermarket. Attractive, wide, clean aisles. Be prepared to spend a lot of time exploring. Many breads and rolls in the bakery, nicely packaged meats and poultry. Decent sale items. Grocery items I have never before seen. Place goes on forever. Bathrooms upstairs. Lots of parking. But expensive.

Great place to shop for wholesome foods. Many organic products. It was unusually crowded for a location that seems industrial. Plenty of free parking. The location is unique as it's the most green friendly in all of Brooklyn. It produces it's own electricity by solar and wind. Has the nations only commercial rooftop greenhouse, Gotham greens. Indoor rooftop lounge to eat and a bar. Small trail around the gowana river. It was an experience to see this in Brooklyn. And this has been around for over 10 years wow. Maybe more people will move to this area.

This place has lots of goodies! And pretty decent sales, if you're an Amazon member. We have been coming here for many years. We prefer it over the Bedford Avenue store.

There was a need for a few snacks while we were in NYC, so the hubs selected Whole Foods. We arrived around 7 pm, so that clearly plays a part in good selection. We had no issues getting quick snacks, water, and beverages, so we decided to pick up dinner as well. Not a good idea. The hot meals were sparse and needed to either be replaced or refreshed. We ended up going with pizza slices because even the pasta area was not appetizing. The staff was friendly, alert, and quick to assist. That part is typically a bright spot. Oh and the pizza was alright.

Found out last minute that I needed flowers for an occasion. Whole Foods has a nice selection of premade bouquets along with a variety of potted plants available. Paid and the staff wrapped it up beautifully at no extra charge!

Greatest organic eggs I ever tried (whole foods brand). Great price for organic tomatoes on the vine $2.99 per lbs. They taste good too. The organic cucumbers are tasty and reasonably priced, as well as Organic baby arugula. Whole foods organic yogurt in large container is $3.39 and they have different flavors. I get whole milk plain. Organic milk is at the best price you can find. I am attaching some photos with prices. You can find some pretty good deals. Otherwise, prices are expensive on most of the items. If you find this review helpful, please give it a thumb up. Thank you and good luck with your shopping. See my other reviews.

I’ve only been here twice but I can say that this is one of the largest Whole Foods locations I’ve ever visited.. Of course this means their selection is bigger that most other locations and the lines were shorter than what I’m used to.. The staff was pretty friendly and the store was kept clean and organized.. Tons of organic produce and fresh foods, a huge vitamin and supplement department, fresh seafood, meats and cheeses, there’s absolutely something for everyone here.. For the lost part everything here was standard Whole Foods fare, from the hot bar and salad bar to the prepared foods and baked goods.. The location is actually pretty convenient, being just off of 3rd and in between the busy neighborhoods of Park Slope and Carrol Gardens.. With a huge array of health products, this store is a great addition to Brooklyn and a great benefit to the community all around..

This is a good place to shop for fresh and healthy groceries especially if you have specific dietary needs (certified organic, non-GMO, gluten free etc.) It's also a great place to eat. They have a hot buffet, deli, bakery and salad bar as well as a grill on the second floor and plenty of seating. They have an outdoor deck on the second floor with a nice view that is perfect during the warm weather.
