All encompassing components and computer and electronics shop, the sales people and cashiers are great, very knowledgeable and helpful professionals. But that ends there, the floor manager supervisor is the crutch of the business. Leadership is lacking in the customer service department. After purchasing and engaging with the person in charge was not the same as the purchasing experience. Don't bother trying to get anything resolved when management is involved. Go to Best Buy or Amazon a better overall experience and they have always done better. Too bad. The face of the micro center is better on the salesman level, management is uglier.

It is so hard to find knowledgeable in-person help for computers these days, and this is it. 100% worth driving down for - I went both for repairs on a laptop, and to buy a new desktop system. The sales reps were incredibly helpful, patient and knowledgeable. I got a custom build same-day, and left with in-home tech support set up that I have already used. Great option.

Been a microcenter customer for a long time. But on 1/24/2026 at around 8:20pm, my family was shopping for some new tech accessories and my father tripped over a randomly placed metal loading kart that was sticking out on an aisle. There was a loud bang sound, and no employees seemed to notice or care even when I noticed a couple within 15 feet of us chatting amongst themselves. I have spoken to an associate when I went to checkout line, I said it’s not a big deal but I wanted to let him know to prevent future accidents,but he just said okay and he will speak to someone and disappeared really fast like he didn’t care. But before talking to me, he was chatting it up about yugioh cards with someone on line for a while. Today my father has a ankle injury and is unable to go to work.

As a loyal customer I’ve love this place more than anywhere else. I came here for pc repair buying computer and other parts. I even return my product to other company when I know microcenter had the product. However, as of today I felt like I was discriminated. Here’s the story, I came here for a hardware installation. After an hour they’ve got it done and I went on the line for pick up. I was waiting on the line for my turn then this kid with his desktop in his hand went to the front of the line and drop his desktop. At first I though he just wanted to load off his desktop but when the guy finished greeting the previous customer he then start greeting the guy who skipped the line. I called out bout the line but he said he was here earlier. I been on the line for a good mins and have not seen that person earlier. I was not acknowledged regards to this and I waited another 7-10 mins. When it was my turn the rep did not apologize and as if this event had never happened. The manager was kind enough to listen my concern and complaint. I treat this place like my second home but now I’m kind sour and upset bout the way that “person” treated me. Really discriminated. Overall this place deserve a 5* but my experience today was pure disappointment.

Been going to this Micro Center for the better part of a decade now. Sometimes for spare parts, once or twice to have them fix an old Lenovo laptop I didn't have energy to deal with myself, and last time to grab a can of compressed air on my way Costco, but somehow still walked out with a sim racing wheel and pedals because that's what Micro Center will do to you. Not complaining, this wheel is my new everything.
For nerds, this place is Narnia. For anyone else whose sole idea is tech support comes from an Apple store, you should pop by here instead to experience a better way.Jan 23, 2026 -
The free consultation service at the Knowledge Bar is amazing, they are my go-to if I'm having issues with my computer.

Great experience at the Microsoft Store. Free parking right by the entrance—which is a big deal in Brooklyn—made everything easy from the start. Super convenient access from parking to the store. Inside, everything is clearly organized by product type, and there are plenty of checkout points, so no long lines. The whole process was smooth, fast, and hassle-free. Highly recommended.

I've been a MC customer for a long time and my most recent experience at this store has me thinking about shopping elsewhere. 20 mins in the computer section ready to make a purchase in a relatively empty store without even an acknowledgement from a group of 3 employees having personal convo to include the general manager! Yup! I'm not that demanding of a customer but to expect the courtesy of basic hospitality when in store is not that far fetched. Based on a few previous reviews, looks like others have had similar experiences. Shameful.

Had a better experience with Amazon, where I bought gaming laptop in 2019 and it's still running. Meanwhile, here, custom build desktop by staff suggestions broke down after a year. Started with sudden shut downs during gaming, brought it for diagnostic which showed nothing as they say, and finally after 2 weeks it refused to turn on.

The staff is friendly and helpful. On my way out, they even wish me a nice day.
I was there looking for a laptop for my photo and video editing so I need something with a base speed of at least 3.00 Ghz. They have lots of selections to choose from and the prices are competitive. This Microcenter location is truly a gem of a place for anyone that needs to get their technology needs met. The staff is very welcoming, friendly, and courteous. I could really go shop anywhere or go online to buy my equipment . But, I have decided to go to Microcenter for the personal touch due to the wonderful staff!

Nice atmosphere, everyone was nice. Went there to buy an Intel i9-14900k bundle, went back home (3 hour train ride) only to discover that the motherboardnhas a handful of bent pins and they won't accept a return on it. So now I'm stuck with $600 worth of equipment that can't be used.

Customer service here is unmatched. Nick G. helped me identify the PC parts I was after and patiently answered all my questions. Management also price matched an item that was on the “incorrect” hook. The customer service doesn’t get better than that!

A computer/ electronics haven staffed by picture perfect staff! On my first ever visit, the General Manager Derrick welcomed me and made me feel like home; he trusted my care into Dinero’s hands when I wanted to buy my first ever pc and monitor and to say the least I walked out a very happy customer, so much so that I had to come back for a second monitor in which unfortunately Derrick and Dinero weren’t in that day but my experience was still extraordinary because Ife came up to the call! He allowed me to be in and out in less than 5 minutes and when I came back a few minutes after my purchase, he gave myself and my father an informational tour of Micro Center’s products and the products themselves. Thank you to Derrick, Dinero, and Ife! I look forward to returning soon!

I had a great experience here. I wish I had gone here when I purchased my last laptop. Christoff was amazingly patient and helpful. Rogers also was very well informed and patient. The selection is vast. They have parking too. The store well stocked and clean. I will never shop Amazon again. I will be coming back to Micro Center.

I recently took my younger brother to buy a laptop with the hard-earned money he made from working while attending university. He spent an hour carefully considering his options, but there was no one to assist or offer any help. When I went in to check on him, I was asked to help him make a decision. After we finally selected a laptop, we couldn't find anyone to assist us. I had to approach a group of employees who were just chatting among themselves. Eventually, one of them came over, but their attitude was extremely dismissive.
They recommended two insurance plans, and after we decided not to buy them, the staff member gave us a condescending look and told us to go to the cashier to pick up the laptop.
First of all, my brother couldn’t afford the insurance, but still ended up purchasing a laptop that was over $1,000. Is this the kind of attitude you show to customers who spend that much money? Second, after we had already made our purchase, we weren’t even allowed to check the laptop before picking it up. Are you worried we might just run off with it?

Microcenter build service was . . . Bad ?
Hello to whoever might be reading this, I am a teenager who was upgrading from a Dell optiplex to a PC that can deliver the best price to proformens Here's what happened.
At first we came up to this microcenter for me to get a proper PC, when we arrived there the people grancfull asked us if we needed support, we told them we were planning a build, witch they guided us to.
When we got to the "Build Your PC" area, we got accunted by a person quite quick, he asked for the parts and told him the parts.
Now here's where it gets "interesting." At first, we got the parts list and case very well, however when talking about the fans he recomand me getting the "Lian Li infinite y" fans since I was also getting a RGB 16 pin power connector to my PC, he told me that on the "Montech King 95 pro" side that it could fit up to 3, 120 fans however that was odd since the dimensions weren't justifiable.
later on after we got home and suddenly a text form microcenter came and states "is 2 fans okay with you ?" And I was confused since the guy told us,"There will be no issues, " and suddenly, this happens, we accept this offer and wait.
A couple of hours later I go look on the microcenter website just for fun and see pre-builts that were cheaper AND were even better than my build in some ways.
Now I didn't mensons this before but after we got the parts list I asked the person "are there and pre-built PC's that might be better ?" When also following up witstatements."Will there be any issues?" He told me "No" for both statments.
Now, after we got our PC, I started to download the same applications as on my old and "worcer" PC, everything was going well untill I noticed that in Task Manger it said that my cpu, ram and even gpu were at a constant level of "89~100%" usage well doing nothing ( this was done after the games installation and reset ) and soon enough it blue screened . . . Not just "once" but around 12 times, in 1 day. I had no choice but to reinstall windows since I could not even get into the login section.
After reinstalling windows, everything's went well, I booted up my PC and did the same thing as before and started playing "War Thunder." Now, when launching the game, I started to set up my controls when suddenly
The PC just didn't turn on. The motherboard indicated that one or more components are or have been "damaged"
I tell this to my guardian / parent, and we go back to microcenter as soon as we could, when we got there they took the PC to fix It as well as to return the extra fan, now this is where I feel like microcenter redeemed my hope, they had a great person at the knowledge bar who took in the PC and told us what has happend, ( damaged motherboard ) they fixed it ( for free ) and got it running for us again.
Currently, the PC is doing quite fine in games with resolutions 4k, however ( not this is that bad ) the LCD screen isn't working even when we got our PC back, I decided to let that slide.
Now I'm not saying that microcenter is a bad company to start with however personally I do find some improvements to be done with marketing and customer build requirements.
I felt parsley betrayed that I couldn't get a better PC for less than the price of my new PC ( with better specs ), and this really did make me quite upset.
Overall, the people at microcenter are very great at solving issues. However, I find a few improvements as stated above on how I feel like customers should be given the best parts at a good price. Sure, I might not be a marketer. However, I do feel like it is important to tell customers
"Hey, we do have this pre-built witch. It might be better in this certain way than the PC specs you have right now."
Overall, I hope this helps future sales to improve and as a reminder to take a look at some of microcenters pre-builts beforehand.

Unfortunately, my experience at Micro Center wasn’t the best. I felt uncomfortably followed around the store—not in the helpful “can I assist you?” way, but more in a suspicious and off-putting manner. It definitely took away from the shopping experience.
That said, I want to shout out the front desk staff—they were professional, courteous, and the highlight of my visit. Hopefully the rest of the in-store experience can be brought up to that same level.Apr 14, 2025 -
Micro Center has a great selection of PC parts and accessories along with prebuilt and other electronics. Many items available on display which can help with purchasing decisions. It’s worth a visit if you’re looking for components and other PC accessories.

This place is the best and they always have amazing in store deals. The staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. They helped me pick out an overkill laptop for my mobile gaming needs, the Titan 18 HX A14 from MSI. It’s exactly what I wanted and I’m very happy with it so far. If you are into computers for any purpose, this is the place to go to. They always have amazing in-store deals and if you are an enthusiast, you will be happy enough just walking around the place.
