Micro Center is hands down one of the best tech stores around! The selection of computers, components, and electronics is huge, and they always seem to have exactly what I’m looking for. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely willing to help with any tech questions or advice. Prices are competitive, and the in-store experience is smooth and organized. Favorite spot for all computer and tech related shopping. Years ago I wanted to build my own computer. The store's customer service people helped me immensely picking out the proper components - I think this was back in 2018? Computer is still running and performing like a dream today. I made some modifications like adding extra fans and upgrading my gpu over the years and always come here for parts. I did use their tech support service last winter when I broke a cpu fan fin and accidentally bent my cpu pins. Came here to get it fixed because I may have shorted out my motherboard. Had to get the motherboard replaced and buy a new cpu, but they put everything back in the same case and it works just like it has. Today my partner is buying a new desktop and I had to rebuild my collection of memory drives because I lost my entire memory cache kit. I was pleasantly surprised they had better prices for flash drives, sandisks, and micro-SD cards than even Amazon! I bought a 10 pack of 128GB flash drives for $83, the micro-sd card was $24 for 256GB, 64GB sandisks were like $6.50 each and 128GB sandisks were $12.99 each - these are Sept 2025 prices. Still my favorite playground and it's fun to talk tech with the customer service guys. I hope this place stays forever. :-)

Allowed a $2449 purchase on my stolen Wells Fargo Micro Center card.* Other locations have asked me to show driver's license for much smaller purchases. I guess they don't do that at this location. *Card was new card that was stolen in the mail and somehow successfully activated.

Disappointed in Micro Center! I thought this was the best tech store eva?! When I went shopping there in July they emailed my receipt to... a neighbor in my building??? We're not married, we don't shop together - why how what?!!? I wrote to corporate and they sorta explained what happened but not really. Then they just stopped responding the end? National tech store can't get its privacy policies and security together? Not a good look. Not sure you deserve my business anymore.

I had a great experience here. I wish I had gone here when I purchased my last laptop. Christoff was amazingly patient and helpful. Rogers also was very well informed and patient. The selection is vast. They have parking too. The store well stocked and clean. I will never shop Amazon again. I will be coming back to Micro Center.

I’ve had good experiences at this MicroCenter in the past, but my latest visit was very disappointing. The “free consultation” advertised is not free at all. Beyond the initial greeting, you’re immediately asked to pay $80 (basic) or $120 (advanced) just for a diagnostic. Then, after waiting again to process an RMA, I was told they couldn’t actually handle it because the warranty was with the manufacturer, not MicroCenter. This was especially frustrating since their website clearly shows a 3-year warranty, which strongly suggests it’s through the store. I wish this had been communicated upfront instead of after more waiting. In the end, I wasted over an hour and a trip to the store, only to leave with nothing resolved. Unfortunately, this experience makes me question whether I’ll return.

Nice atmosphere, everyone was nice. Went there to buy an Intel i9-14900k bundle, went back home (3 hour train ride) only to discover that the motherboardnhas a handful of bent pins and they won't accept a return on it. So now I'm stuck with $600 worth of equipment that can't be used.

This is one of the worst customer experiences I’ve ever had in my life. Firstly - I called to make an appointment. When I arrived, the store was closed. The rep AT THE STORE gave my the wrong time. When I went back the next day (with a s scheduled appointment), they flat out refused to look at my laptop, and rudely suggested I just get in touch with customer service. Horrible system, horrible people.

Always pleased with my experiences here. Great webpage, great inventory, nice and transparent prices, friendly and efficient staff. I bought a refurbished laptop for the first time, which they have many off in stock, and I am quite pleased. Their inventory of refurbished laptops is another plus.

I recently took my younger brother to buy a laptop with the hard-earned money he made from working while attending university. He spent an hour carefully considering his options, but there was no one to assist or offer any help. When I went in to check on him, I was asked to help him make a decision. After we finally selected a laptop, we couldn't find anyone to assist us. I had to approach a group of employees who were just chatting among themselves. Eventually, one of them came over, but their attitude was extremely dismissive. They recommended two insurance plans, and after we decided not to buy them, the staff member gave us a condescending look and told us to go to the cashier to pick up the laptop. First of all, my brother couldn’t afford the insurance, but still ended up purchasing a laptop that was over $1,000. Is this the kind of attitude you show to customers who spend that much money? Second, after we had already made our purchase, we weren’t even allowed to check the laptop before picking it up. Are you worried we might just run off with it? Very disappointing experience. The lack of customer service and disrespectful treatment left us feeling extremely frustrated.

Incredibly frustrating experience with Microcenter. I ordered a very expensive TV, with delivery attached. Tv should have been delivered between 10:30-11:00 - not only were they 2 hours late, they delivered the completely wrong tv. Then the drivers complained to me that they waited an hour to be able to pick it up, and tried to convince me to accept the tv as "This one is 86 inches though!" (mine was a 77 and $1000 more than the crap they tried to push on me).. After multiple calls to the sales management line, the agent eventually landed on "do you still want the tv".. ensured me he would get back to me when the drivers returned. Only when I called back and pressed for an hones answer did he tell me I wasn't getting the TV today. No other accountability, no adjustment for the poor service on all fronts. Just "well do you still want the TV". No other offer for reconcilation or incentivizing the complete waste of my day. First and last time for everything, as I still don't have the TV. I Was so looking forward to working with Micro Center after all of the good things I'd heared about them. Oh well.

Finally saved up enough for a new desktop and went with Micro Center's PC build service and paid extra for making it the same day as ordered. The staff were really nice and courteous, and the whole process went super smooth. My only critique is the staff member who helped suggest parts got wrong how many fans actually fit in my case leaving me with one extra. However the PC runs exceptionally well and I've been enjoying it so much.

I rushed into the store angry after a bad experience at Best Buy. I was there for less than 10 minutes, and in that time Kevin and his team of associates turned my frown upside down. Literally. Thank you for your quick, prompt, and polite service. Well worth the hour trip on the subway.

Wouldn't recommend for repairs at all they overcharge you a lot and they in general mess up your computer for example they made it where when I plug in my computer my graphics card would short circuit DO NOT COME HERE FOR REPAIRS

The worst customer service I have ever got. I was charged for free consulting services. just to tell me exactly same thing over and over again what I told them when I gave them the laptop. As what am I missing here will no one complain or no one are there to ask you people. And I got the exactly same laptop back even with the dust on that and a beautiful sticker on it. It was better to do it your self than going to this place. Because The engineers here just know to replace the components with screws which a school boy can also do. At least see the estimate before you give who pays 1889.9 for repair when the product is 2000 :):):)

Went to store exactly when they opened, if not earlier. Saw the magic final fantasy collector boosters I wanted behind the counter, but they told me was "reserved" already. Definitely not an option that was available online as I've been tracking website. Employees are keeping highly sought after goods for themselves. Do not bother visiting this corrupt store!!!

Absolutely Horrible Customer Service--Will Never Return I visited this store for the first time, and thanks to Danny W., it will also be my last. From the moment I asked for help, he was dismissive, disrespectful, and outright contradictory in everything he said. I came in with a simple question, and instead of offering assistance, he made me feel like I was wasting his time. His tone was rude, his attitude unprofessional, and he clearly had zero interest in helping a new customer. It’s beyond me how someone like that is allowed to represent any business. If this is how they treat first-time customers, I’d hate to see how they treat regulars. Stay far away.

Microcenter build service was . . . Bad ? Hello to whoever might be reading this, I am a teenager who was upgrading from a Dell optiplex to a PC that can deliver the best price to proformens Here's what happened. At first we came up to this microcenter for me to get a proper PC, when we arrived there the people grancfull asked us if we needed support, we told them we were planning a build, witch they guided us to. When we got to the "Build Your PC" area, we got accunted by a person quite quick, he asked for the parts and told him the parts. Now here's where it gets "interesting." At first, we got the parts list and case very well, however when talking about the fans he recomand me getting the "Lian Li infinite y" fans since I was also getting a RGB 16 pin power connector to my PC, he told me that on the "Montech King 95 pro" side that it could fit up to 3, 120 fans however that was odd since the dimensions weren't justifiable. later on after we got home and suddenly a text form microcenter came and states "is 2 fans okay with you ?" And I was confused since the guy told us,"There will be no issues, " and suddenly, this happens, we accept this offer and wait. A couple of hours later I go look on the microcenter website just for fun and see pre-builts that were cheaper AND were even better than my build in some ways. Now I didn't mensons this before but after we got the parts list I asked the person "are there and pre-built PC's that might be better ?" When also following up witstatements."Will there be any issues?" He told me "No" for both statments. Now, after we got our PC, I started to download the same applications as on my old and "worcer" PC, everything was going well untill I noticed that in Task Manger it said that my cpu, ram and even gpu were at a constant level of "89~100%" usage well doing nothing ( this was done after the games installation and reset ) and soon enough it blue screened . . . Not just "once" but around 12 times, in 1 day. I had no choice but to reinstall windows since I could not even get into the login section. After reinstalling windows, everything's went well, I booted up my PC and did the same thing as before and started playing "War Thunder." Now, when launching the game, I started to set up my controls when suddenly The PC just didn't turn on. The motherboard indicated that one or more components are or have been "damaged" I tell this to my guardian / parent, and we go back to microcenter as soon as we could, when we got there they took the PC to fix It as well as to return the extra fan, now this is where I feel like microcenter redeemed my hope, they had a great person at the knowledge bar who took in the PC and told us what has happend, ( damaged motherboard ) they fixed it ( for free ) and got it running for us again. Currently, the PC is doing quite fine in games with resolutions 4k, however ( not this is that bad ) the LCD screen isn't working even when we got our PC back, I decided to let that slide. Now I'm not saying that microcenter is a bad company to start with however personally I do find some improvements to be done with marketing and customer build requirements. I felt parsley betrayed that I couldn't get a better PC for less than the price of my new PC ( with better specs ), and this really did make me quite upset. Overall, the people at microcenter are very great at solving issues. However, I find a few improvements as stated above on how I feel like customers should be given the best parts at a good price. Sure, I might not be a marketer. However, I do feel like it is important to tell customers "Hey, we do have this pre-built witch. It might be better in this certain way than the PC specs you have right now." Overall, I hope this helps future sales to improve and as a reminder to take a look at some of microcenters pre-builts beforehand. Andrew S. Huge shout out to Michael Taliercio!!! He seriously saved our ass. We were going to have to wait a week and skip our PC build party if we weren't able to make the purchase today. He greeted me as soon as I entered the door and provided exceptional service. He was friendly, displayed expert knowledge, made sure we had everything, and gathered all our parts in under 30 minutes, right before the store closed! I appreciate him and I hope management does too, ya'll got a star employee!!!

Easily my favorite brick and mortar store. They’re not perfect and they don’t have everything but no one can. If you’re going here they probably have enough to get you by at a minimum. Staff has always been helpful and kind and I’ve seen them helping plenty of genuinely clueless people. Went in to pick up a mini pc and staff suggested peripherals which make sense… but realistically I’m just using this thing to get sub 1ms decoding streaming from 5090 rig lol. Plus it was cheaper than Amazon and I could pick it up in 15 minutes?! Another easy sale… and yes manger guy I will come back since I’ve used Microcenter parts for a dozen builds now. That’s not even mentioning the other great DIY stuff like their quality and budget friendly Inland filaments!

Unfortunately, my experience at Micro Center wasn’t the best. I felt uncomfortably followed around the store—not in the helpful “can I assist you?” way, but more in a suspicious and off-putting manner. It definitely took away from the shopping experience. That said, I want to shout out the front desk staff—they were professional, courteous, and the highlight of my visit. Hopefully the rest of the in-store experience can be brought up to that same level.

Micro Center has a great selection of PC parts and accessories along with prebuilt and other electronics. Many items available on display which can help with purchasing decisions. It’s worth a visit if you’re looking for components and other PC accessories.

I was going to order my parts from Amazon, but I wanted to see if Microcenter had all the parts I needed. They absolutely have everything! They offer a huge variety of parts and components at great deals and competitive pricing. When I asked a Rep by the name Rufo B, if they had an Rtx 4090 in stock, he gladly showed me all the stock they had on a monitor. Later, he asked if I was building a new gaming pc and replied to him that yes, I was. Rufo B assisted me in selecting all my parts needed to build a new next gen pc. His knowledge and expertise of different components from the CPU and motherboards to memory sticks are remarkable. He even recommended me the latest AMD cpu instead of the Intel i9 that i was going for. The different graphs in performance he showed had huge differences in power, and fps were what made me go with his judgment. He went above and beyond, even personally gathering all my parts for me to have a seamless checkout at the register, I appreciated his actions. When I got home, I got straight to building my beauty of a gaming pc, and the end results were perfection. If you need parts to build a new gaming pc, I definitely recommend this local Microcenter.

This place is the best and they always have amazing in store deals. The staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. They helped me pick out an overkill laptop for my mobile gaming needs, the Titan 18 HX A14 from MSI. It’s exactly what I wanted and I’m very happy with it so far. If you are into computers for any purpose, this is the place to go to. They always have amazing in-store deals and if you are an enthusiast, you will be happy enough just walking around the place.
